It has been so long since I've been to a pure raw and I'm so glad to see that this place is still here. I will say their stuff is very expensive. It's a dollar up charge for fruit toppings. It's very airy and bright as a ceilings are high. I was also surprised to see they have two bathrooms and they have a full upstairs for dining in. There were a lot of people getting to go orders this time. I got the coffee bowl and added protein and honestly, I was full and I couldn't even finish it. I want to stress that the employees here are so so kind and sweet! I had several questions for them and they helped me out and gave me a water that helped save me from my dehydration. I wanted something citrus-y and this has orange juice blended with banana, honey, and cashew milk so I figured it'd hit the spot. Firstly, yes the shakes are thicker than the juices (to be expected). This didn't taste at all like I expected, given the ingredients. It was actually almost spiced? like it came with cinnamon in it which was surprising but not unpleasant. Honestly, my main issue with this was how its main flavor profile was the cashew milk instead of the orange juice or banana. Matcha Mango Bowl - 1.5/5 this was sadly a miss for me :( While I'm sure it is super healthy, it missed the mark for me yum factor wise. Although it's green, I really could not get any sense of the matcha present or the mango? The dark chocolate cacao overpowered the entire bowl for me, I could really only taste that and the coconut pieces for the main flavor profile. Came here to get an açaí bowl even though they sell fresh made juices. The parking can be tough so the right timing is everything! Upon entering, you could smelled the cleanliness, meaning it smelled of fresh bleach, but not the overpowering type, just enough for you to know they take their store's cleaning seriously. The staff were pleasant and we ordered our bowls. The store is small downstairs, but has an upstairs area to sit and eat so that's a good thing! The bowls were fresh and good. The berries were plump and fresh, the granola providing the perfect crunch with the cold creaminess of the açaí on the bottom. If you're a texture person, this would be a great treat for you! I am not typically a fan of healthy spots but Pure Raw Juice has an amazing selection of smoothie bowls! These bowls are HUGE and topped with granola, fresh fruits, and hemp seeds. They are so filling and I had no idea fruit could actually keep me full. I visited Pure Raw Juice after my morning with Plant Powered Athlete Baltimore. The inside of the store is spacious enough for a good amount of people to gather and order without feeling claustrophobic. It is annoying that Pure Raw puts honey and bee pollen in so many of their menu items. Fortunately their cashew mylk which contains honey can be replaced with coconut water. That made ordering the Health Nut bowl vegan easy with a simple substitution of the cashew mylk. The employees were really nice and it was so easy to order and make sure they understood I want a vegan smoothie bowl. They worked very efficiently and there was hardly a wait for my bowl to come out. I was shocked by the portion size of my 24oz bowl!! It is a lot for one person to eat and I ended up sharing this bowl with my husband. The bowl has so much smoothie, a generous portion of fruit, and granola and hemp seeds to keep you full for awhile! I love that this location opened up due to the convenience of parking! You can park for free in the garage of the rotunda and easily grab a smoothie or açaí bowl. I usually get the açaí traditional bowl but recently just tried the protein bowl. I told the staff that I didn't want anything too sweet and they recommended the protein bowl. I got the bowl to go due to current social distancing requirements and chowed down quickly to prevent the bowl from melting. The bowl was topped with granola, almonds, hemp seeds, and banana. I recently started going back to the gym and a friend of mine recommended getting more protein in my diet to help build some muscle (or as the kids like to call it, "gains"). Lucky for me, Pure Raw Juice is right next to my gym and, even though the putrid smell of bananas wafting through the parking garage hallway always seems to throw me off, I decided to grab a smoothie after an especially exhausting workout. I'm definitely not a regular at a place like this so I was a little lost on what to order. My eye immediately drew to the first mention of "protein" which ended up being a smoothie bowl and not an actual smoothie. I had to ask the employee to stop making the bowl soon after I ordered it because I realized I had made a mistake - oops! I went with the Almond Butter Cup smoothie instead which took them about 15 minutes to make... even though I was the only person waiting in the store. The first couple sips were honestly a little gross but after a while, it grew on me. I could definitely taste a chalky texture from the protein powder but the little chunks of chocolate seemed to distract me from that. I think I may return again but get something a little more fruity and place my order online for pick up instead so I don't have to wait as long (hopefully). I will say the inside is surprisingly cute with an upper loft area with plenty of seating and free WiFi which I can appreciate. This review is for the morning of 2/23/25. I came into a EMPTY store with 2 people behind the counter. I was the only person there when ordering my food and had a 18 minute wait with 1 item? There was a group of two that came in behind me with an order of 2 and got their orders before mine. The young woman behind the counter wasn't attentive to who was in the store and what was happening, she was on her cellphone and was supposed to be on the register. I come to the store because it's close but I would literally ride into Towson for the other one because between service and wait time I had ENOUGH. I come to pure raw often and my bowls come out great everytime. I love the food the pure raw has but you guys need better protocols for your workers in this location with the clientele it serves. A feel good snack for sure ...healthy and delicious. Tastes good and is good for you. This location is located in Hampden in the Rotunda shopping center. I ordered the Traditional Acai Bowl. The base is berries and then toppings are granola, banana, blueberries, strawberries, coconut and honey. So so so good. You can get an original size which may be about 10 or so ounces. There is also a smaller version. Never disappointed. Service is always great!! Everything tastes fresh and is made on the spot and is all organic. Atmosphere: Very relaxing. There isn't really any room to eat on the lower level. Just a small counter with about 4 seats that face a window. The upstairs is super cute with tables and chairs and also free Wi-Fi! They also have some outdoor seating. In addition to various bowls, they offer smoothies and healthy tinctures. I got a Zinger Juice too which comes witb apple, lemon, ginger root. Lots of health benefotd like apples help lower the risk of heart attack and stroke and regulates. Ginger helps with so many things too. Very yummy! It's a snack you won't feel guilty about. Pure raw has a lot going for it - solid smoothies and tasty açaí bowls. My favorite is the berry blast smoothie but wish it came with the cashew milk instead of apple juice but I always make the substitute (just wish they wouldn't charge me for it). The açaí bowls are good too, just a little too sweet for my taste. It really doesn't need the honey on top, I think that should be optional. Their Health Nut Pitaya Bowl checked all the boxes! It features a pitaya, blueberries and cashew milk base with a perfect consistency - you could actually spoon the smoothie as opposed to drinking it with a straw. The toppings were plentiful and each bite, down the the very last one, had some piece of kiwi, banana, granola or hemp seed in it. Even with the smaller bowl size, I felt satiated and satisfied. Really love coming to this place when I'm feeling a little gross and want a clean, healthy option for a meal. Been here a few times and I usually get their pitaya bowls because I just like them better than their açai options. The bowls can be a little on the pricier side, after tax it ends up being around $10, so it's definitely a nice treat and not a regular thing. I've tried both the Health Nut and the Electric Pink and the Health Nut is by far my favorite. The flavors just come together so much better and I love the hemp seeds that are added. Pretty great. Came in the other day on my way to work. First off I was excited they were open. Nothing comes up on google for this location, only Towson's hours! I made the mistake of coming here once- because now I can't stop. I've ordered 3 açaí bowls in the span of a week. My order: açaí bowl made with cashew mylk, topped with granola, banana, extra strawberries, and honey. The quality of the açaí bowl is great! Fresh and tasty. The bananas on top aren't too ripe, and the açaí blend itself is good balance of tangy and sweet. I'm not sure what kind of açaí they use in the bowl (berries? powder? purée? sorbet?). I tried checking on the website and their printed menu, but there's no information on the type of acai ingredient or where it is sourced from. I love the interior of this location. There is a loft seating area that seems like it would be perfect for getting some work/studying done. There's plenty of circulation and the air feels crisp inside. You can bring your own reusable cup for smoothies. However, the same does not apply to bowls. According to one of the employees I asked, this is because it is considered unsanitary. It would be great to see re-useable bowls incorporated sometime in the future, especially for dine-in customers. read more

My favorites are the Traditional and Matcha Mango Acai bowls. Both are extremely delicious - and you can get a lid for your bowl if you're on the go. This time around I got the Purple Haze smoothie and I really regret it. They are friendly, professional, and exhume a positive energy that shows in how they relate to each customer. Prime example: I was recently frustrated that they were out of the lemon and ginger flu shots. Morgan addressed my concern in such a way that left me relieved and happily smiling. Another time I accidentally ordered something that did not have honey in it, and instead of charging me for it, Morgan fixed it on the spot and again, left me feeling happily satisfied. I've stopped by for smoothies twice now. I wasn't a fan after my first visit, but I decided to give it a second shot, and I'm still not a fan. On my first visit, I went in and ordered a Beet Me Up smoothie (beets, pineapple, strawberries, vanilla protein, and cashew mylk). The protein powder wasn't blended in well, and I kept getting chunks of dry protein powder, which was really unpleasant. I like beets, but I wish the ratio of beets to sweeter fruits was more balanced. The second time, I ordered ahead on the website, since I was shopping over at MOM's. And to my surprise, it said it would be ready in 25 minutes! Which seemed like a long time for a smoothie. I stopped by to see if they could make it faster, since I was on my lunch break and couldn't hang out for 20 more minutes. It was already ready and in the fridge. So I have no idea why it said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I tried the Green-Aid smoothie (cucumber, spinach, pineapple, and coconut water). Maybe it was just the coconut water in it, but it was kind of flavorless. Overall, I just haven't been impressed. When smoothies are almost $10 (Beet Me Up is $9.40 and Green-Aid is $8.95), I want them to be pretty great. And I just haven't loved my experiences/smoothies at Pure Raw Juice. read more

Parking is great here, and you don't have to pay if you're not going in the garage I also love how big this location is. Came here for the grand opening today and everything was amazing! This location is absolutely beautiful and super easy to get to. My problem with the Towson location is that it's on a street corner and often difficult to get to, however, this location is in the middle of the Rotunda and there's plenty of parking. After entering the building, it's very modern and vibrant. I love the upper seating with the colorful paintings and pictures. Definitely a fun place to bring your kids. As for the food, I got the electric pink pitaya bowl. They were very prompt with getting the orders made. It was super delicious, the consistency was on point, and bee pollen is surprisingly super tasty!
