This place is a whole vibe - definitely a beautiful bright spot in an otherwise desolate Baltimore Harbor. They have an amazingly varied selection of teas - there were so many I wanted to try (I wish they didn't only offer the tea flight on Saturday). They also had a beautiful array of cakes and cookies and muffins and scones, etc. We tried a few treats (pound cake, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry muffin) and they were all amazing! Everything was delicious and a perfect compliment to our tea. As a tea snob, I was very grateful for the beautiful tea mugs they used for our tea. This place is a whole vibe and made for a perfect Sunday afternoon!

I loved that they had an area with books as well as a vinyl collection. You can purchase loose tea as well as have a cup or flight. I chose the apple chai tea with milk which was lovely and seasonal. The servers were kind and thoughtful. I will say that this is not an ideal place to work with a laptop as they don't provide WiFi in addition to the limited seating/electrical outlets. That's okay-come to unplug! I can't wait to go back!

As mentioned previously, there is extremely limited seating and table space so this isn't the place to necessarily study or work if you aren't coming in right at opening or just are plain unlucky. Regardless, Pillion serves as a nice place for me to sit and get some work done. They also now have a rewards punch card where your 10th drink is free! Yunnan Big Leaf Summer 3/5, this is a light black tea Roasted hojicha w/ salted hazelnut syrup milk tea 4/5, this just tasted like hojicha and was light overall but nice and warm Currant Events Soda 4/5, a citrusy fizzy soda Cranberry and Rosemary Scone 3/5, more rosemary than cranberry Decaf English Breakfast w/ Pumpkin Caramel Syrup and milk (hot) 3/5, quite sweet due to syrup, not very much English breakfast coming through, it was ok but not again Cocoa mint hot tea 5/5, I love mint tea, this is a more unique one as it's a blend of spearmint and peppermint. You will not taste the cacao nibs but it smells like rich dark chocolate as you get close to sip, feels v seasonal!! Butterscotch cookie 4.5/5, solid cookie, would have preferred over softer but this is such a small issue Cider spritz 2/5 let me start by stating I love fall and fall themed items, especially Cider. While I did enjoy the initial taste of Cider, it seemed to not last

They have SO many teas - it's kind of amazing and overwhelming at the same time. I ended up just going with one of their specials, which was an iced hibiscus tea - really delicious and refreshing on a hot day. I asked for honey as my sweetener, but it wasn't very sweet at all. This wasn't a bad thing for me, and you can always ask for more if it's not sweet enough. I also got two scones to munch on while I was there. They have a decent selection of pastries that I believe were all made by Maillard Pastries. They were both berry scones, though I can't remember the exact flavors. One was noticeably drier than the other, but I still really enjoyed them. It was a nice snack to have with my tea. Definitely a cute spot to work or study from with solid food and drinks. If I lived closer I'm sure I'd come all the time!

You were encouraged to switch between the flavors vs stay with the same type of tea. This was the first afternoon tea where received a fruit and cheese board, salad, chilled fruit-yogurt soup before receiving the warm, lovely scone and the three tiers of sandwiches and sweets. Many of the sandwiches had some fruit like a slice of strawberry or peach in addition to the meat for spread. The tea china and presentation were wonderful as was our waitress. I thought it was a great value for the price. There was one bathroom on the level. Parking was around the corner or we parked farther down the street.

My friend and I had plans for a granddaughters that fell thru for a tea event. I called this business right after they opened on Sunday morning trying to make last minute reservations. They don't normally do same day reservations but, we were blessed because they accepted reservations for 4. Our little ladies were so excited to go to the tea spot. We were all tea party dressed and ready. We entered and was greeted with smiles. Not only the staff but, also others that were dining complimented us on our attire. It's not a very large place. But, it was just enough. Nothing fancy but, we all had a great experience. We started with 4 different teas. I remember peach, blueberry, mint and I can't remember the last one. We enjoyed them all. My favorite was the blueberry. Nothing was rushed. It was a little busy for them so the food was a little slow coming out but, we didn't mind. Remember they accommodated us and we were patient with no complaints. We started with the sandwich tier, then the scones their and last the dessert their. The girls were just tickled. They even received a marshmallow treat and a gold balloon that I forgot to snap a photo. Great experience and I would return.

The prices were affordable and the teas were good. The mugs and plates were pretty old a bit chopped up so I was worried about that. They're also veryyyy stained. Other than that, the service was great and my time spent there was peaceful. It wasn't too busy and I was able to work. They had a few outlets against the wall. I did the High Tea for $30 pp it came with everything you see in the pictures. I got to choose the Sarnies (sandwiches) I wanted. I got the Egg and Cress which was delightful!!! Overall I'll be back! I live over an hour away and I still deff want to plan another visit here.
