Good food , brand new , portions seem a little lite. This place will do well. Gainesville needs food like this.

A hidden gem in Johns Creek…read more Some of the best made-to-order Indian food you can get. I've been here a few times, and love the freshness of the food, the meticulously-crafted recipes, and attention to detail. At a time when a million and a half Indian "street food" restaurants keep cropping up at every street corner, Campus Cafe delivers authentic restaurant-level Indian dishes with high quality ingredients, freshness and great friendly service... all in a fast casual setting. Campus Cafe is tucked away in a small strip mall at the corner of 141 and State Bridge Rd in Johns Creek. It's a clean establishment with room to dine in, but I've always ordered my food to go. So far, I've tried the following: Vegetarian biriyani (5 stars) Chicken kadai (5 stars) Paneer tikka masala (4 stars) Goat curry (5 stars) Chicken biriyani (4 stars)

For this trip, I'm exploring Cheesesteaks in the area since I just moved in. Compared to Weeyums, Philly D, and uncle Phil's I would say this is nowhere near as good as those. It scratches an itch, but the bread is wrong. It was too small and barely held together. It was good, but if you're looking for a spectacular Philly, I wasn't getting it. Might be worth trying the Desi Cheese steak since it's different. Seems like that might be my next try. Just need better bread. Onion rings were also just prepackaged. Nothing to write home about. Service was fast and friendly. The owner at the counter always calls out to his guests saying thanks. I'll be back to try the Indian food next. I think that will be great.

This is strictly a review for the gelato! I came into The…read moreCreek Café + Gelato expecting a cute little café moment... and walked out emotionally attached to their gelato. Let me be very clear: This is not your average "ice cream pretending to be fancy." This is real, silky, melt-in-your-soul gelato. The texture? Unreal. It's impossibly smooth -- like velvet that decided to become dessert. The flavors? Loud. In a good way. You can actually taste what you ordered -- not some artificial, sugar-blasted mystery. Whether it's a deep chocolate, a bright fruit, or something more indulgent, each scoop tastes fresh, clean, and ridiculously well-balanced. And the density? Perfect. Gelato done right should feel luxurious, not airy -- and they nailed it. Imported gelato straight from Italy? Final verdict: If you're anywhere near Alpharetta and skip this place, that's on you. I went in curious... I left planning my next visit before I even hit the door.

This was the BEST decision we could have ever made. It was so soft and rich and custardy and paired perfectly with the vanilla gelato. The gelato was also out of this world. So smooth and soft. The inside was also so cozy and had great natural light. I absolutely LOVED my experience and can't want to go back!!

I usually pop in pretty late in the evening before they close since the bakery is a little further from my home. Most of the goodies have dwindled down by the end of the night. The owner is a sweet Taiwanese lady who boasts their products don't contain any preservatives. Everything is freshly made - half the time, the bread baggies are seen open and cooling. My favorites are the buns - the custard, black sesame, hot dog and Chanel polo meat floss buns. Their sandos remind me of Family Mart sandwiches in Taiwan. And the bento boxes are massive - definitely recommend the fried pork chop bento box! The combo comes with a drink, as well. It's been a minute since my last visit so I'll definitely need to stop by on my next trip to Duluth/Johns Creek!

They're a bit pricier than sweet hut with buns averaging $3.75/4 ish Main focus is bread and even items with filling are not very full like the egg salad sandwich has 4 slices of bread to a thin layer of egg salad between each. I'm still on the hunt for an egg salad sandwich rivaling Lawson's or 7-11 but the one here has good bread! I tried an orange cream sandwich too and the cream left a film on my tongue so not my favorite but it's a nice, light dessert They have a ton of different options though so something for everyone. Next time, I'll have to come earlier to get a loaf of just plain white bread. They only had flavored breads $8/ loaf when I came and I got the sesame but I haven't tried it yet. It looks gorgeous though with a great swirl and fluffy texture The staff were friendly & quick. It has plenty of parking in the shared lot of the strip.

I ordered the Garden Grain Bowl, which cost $9.10 before adding any protein. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the portion and presentation. The menu described a combination of spinach and mixed greens, roasted almonds, sunflower seeds, cheese, fresh fruit, wheat berries, and quinoa. However, the bowl I received appeared to contain mostly mixed greens, with very little of the other advertised ingredients visible. When I asked about it, I was told that it was "not intended to be a full meal." For a salad priced at over $9, I expected a more generous and balanced portion. To their credit, the server did offer to add more fruit and toppings after I raised the concern. I've always enjoyed their bread products, but based on this experience, I would not recommend the salads or sandwiches for the value received.

I got a blt but added pickles and I honestly really liked it. It was simple but very tasty and the bacon was put in the toaster oven thing to get it hot and crispy after I ordered. The bread is also delicious and really nice and soft. All the sandwiches are made to order so they are somewhat customizable which is great. They also offer edible cookie dough here which is a really fun dessert option. I loved the blue sugar cookie that I tried but I do think that they should be refrigerated instead of sitting covered next to the cashier because it was a little stickier than I feel like it should be. Customer service was also pretty good. I definitely suggest checking it out if you're in the area and in the mood for a hoagie.
