Everything was as advertised. The team helped move us from a fourth floor apartment in Green Lake to a townhouse in Capitol Hill. In top of moving out boxes, they disassembled and reassembled our furniture and carefully wrapped and transported multiple large TVs. Overall the move took about 4.5 hours. I recently used Pure Movers moving within Seattle. From a studio to a one bedroom. I thought they did a good job. This was my first time using movers so I honestly didn't know what to expect. The movers were a little bit older than I was anticipating but I don't think they were necessarily slow. They definitely were stronger than I ancipated! I did expect to receive a call prior to them arriving, but they did not call and just showed up. But that is a minor detail. They seemed to move quickly and tried to package everything with care. The loading of all my belongings took 4 hours, and the unload took 2 hours. I also did not have them take everything to speed up the process. I don't know why the loading took so long! I am wanting to assume it's because we could not lock the elevator and the element of stairs, whereas my new apartment we had an elevator lock and no extra stairs. All in all, they got the job done and I didn't have to do any heavy moving. My Peloton and TV arrived safely in one piece! The movers were kind and worked hard! read more

They worked every efficiently as a team, asked me lots of questions about where large items will be going in the new house, and were extremely hard working. On move day the team made sure everything, including our large fridge and BBQ, we're safely moved. Short version: Amazing communication, extremely fast responses, moving day itself went largely well, and the company had excellent damage control for the minor issues that surfaced. Would definitely use again/recommend to others. Long version: I had a great experience with Pure Movers from day one. First off, the company has lightning-fast response times. I submitted my info online for a quote and got a detailed quote from a rep named Jack within 10 minutes. Any follow-up questions I asked Jack were answered with similar timeframes, no matter the hour, either by Jack or one of his colleagues. Moving day itself went well. The crew arrived on time and were professional, and they were good about communicating with me if they had questions about what they were packing/moving. At the end of the day, the invoice they presented was accurate, down to the minute, of how long things took. (They took a 20-minute break during the day and subtracted that out from the total time taken, which is a transparency I appreciated.) Continuing with the excellent communication - a rep called Marty called me the next day to check in, and I mentioned that there had been 2 hiccups. 1) The move itself did take 3 hours longer than I was told to expect. 2) There was staining of the carpets and I had to call a professional service to steam clean. The company immediately mailed me a check as a coupon to compensate the longer time, which amounted to a 6% discount off the total move. They also agreed to take care of the cost of the steam clean, and again dealt with that with lightning-fast speed - I sent them the invoice, and they called me within 5 minutes to tell me a check was on its way. All in all, I was seriously impressed by the company - both by the movers, but also by the customer service! read more

Great service, nice movers! I had a small move, mainly furniture just across town from one apartment to another. My original move date had to be rescheduled due to bad weather, but it was rescheduled to the next weekday, so not a problem. The furniture made it to the new place without incident. The movers also went above and beyond, when they learned I was walking from the old place to the new place (I haven't needed a car in Edmonds - so walkable!) they offered to give me a ride in one of the mover's passenger cars. All-in-all, I'd recommend Pure Movers. I did not use their packing service/option, so I can't speak to that. read more

They did a decent job but I felt misled by their overage rate. This is only for the OVERTIME portion, and it's on top of their existing hourly rate. So for hours I went over I was billed considerably more than I was expecting. Movers also lost some important things, for instance somehow none of the screw/bolt sets I had duct taped to the disassembled furniture seemed to have made it so I had two beds and a crib I had to go buy a bunch of parts for after the move. read more

They were quick, *efficient*, professional, courteous. I'll be honest, I was stressing. I snapped at them twice. They didn't flinch or change their attitude. Moving is kind of a crapshoot. We moved from Seattle back to the bay area. I've moved somewhere in the double digits of times over my life, so, I feel confident to say in the scope these dudes weren't too bad. We packed our own boxes - for reference. The positives: - The team leader was great -The estimation process was painless -We paid what we were quoted -Our loading team (Seattle) left a lot to be desired but our unloading team (Oakland) was awesome!!! The negatives: -The loading team spilled the team leaders coffee all over the top of our cloth hamper and then felt the need to hide it with boxes on top until I questioned him about it (come on mannnn). -The 1/2 of loading team (except the team leader) mostly ignored our carefully labeled "fragile" things and other markings. -I asked 1/2 of the loading team to stop going in my closet where we stored the "valuables" slated to travel in the car and then found him multiple times still in the walk-in closet he had no reason to be in - other than hiding from his teammate? The guy seemed like a little lost UW student. Not the person I would pick to do my move but, there we were. SO, this is not a "pure movers" problem so much as it is 1/6 Pure movers we interacted with problem. Any time you move you will get a mixed assortment of personalities and abilities just like everything else you do in life. By contrast our Pure unloading team (Bay Area) was absolutely great in every way - efficient, competent, friendly - and it was one of the few moves I've made in which nothing went missing. Moved from Seattle to Tacoma. We reserved 4 movers and one truck. We packed our own boxes. The movers were on time and called me while they were on their way to give me an ETA on when they would pull up. The movers wrapped our furniture and TVs with blankets and wrap film. They quickly and efficiently loaded our items from our apartment into our new place. They got our items moved without any breakage. The final amount for the move was very close to what we were quoted. The whole process from start to finish was very smooth and efficient. Customer service was also excellent and they are extremely responsive to feedback and resolving issues. Truck showed up on time and things progressed fairly smoothly. Movers were younger than I expected, but largely seemed professional, competent, and friendly. The move did take slightly longer than I expected, however a bottleneck at the elevator was likely a big contributor there. Although Pure Movers was on the high end of the quotes I received, I am very glad I went with them (you get what you pay for kind-of-thing). Ruslan and his team did an excellent job on my short distance (but large) move-in to our new house. They were communicative, on-time, friendly, efficient, careful and attentive to where I wanted things left. They loaded and unloaded the almost full 26ft truck in about 6 hours, including the short drive between storage unit and house. I cannot think of any room for improvement and recommend them highly. My only regret is that I didn't arrange to pay it in cash and get the 7% discount, but that is my fault. :) read more

Wow, looking at their Yelp photos, idk if the movers are different because they weren't in uniform or driving a company truck. Whoever installed my bed, left it SQUEAKING and loose!!! This is a safety hazard. They also dropped their dolly super hard on my new floors! Someone damaged an item that was being moved. Asked the lead guy about it but he doesn't speak English apparently.... So I spoke with another person and they claimed that the item was damaged prior. I have photos right before the move to prove otherwise. I didn't book this company, my husband did. When it was time to pay, the guy that spoke English hinted for me to give them a tip. And I did, not because he asked for one. These people seem very shady when it was time to pay. Overall I would not recommend these people. read more

Helped me pack a number of remaining items which I appreciated. My couch ended up being too big to fit up the stairs but they went out of their way to exhaust every option to get it in the house which I appreciated.
