Even after my discount, my total was still well over $100, yet the free shipping was removed. When I reached out for clarification, I was met with an unbelievably rude response--an employee actually called me a "dumbass" instead of providing a professional explanation. This is beyond unacceptable for any business, especially one that claims to be customer-focused. If this is how they treat paying customers, I can't imagine how they handle real issues. Stay far away from this store. Extremely predatory behavior.

Looking to finally upgrade my ski boots after 15yrs (yea, I know that is about 2x longer than I…read moreshould have been skiing on them). Podium in Frisco was recommended by several friends - just Wow. The ski boot selection is completely over the top. There must have been 30 different kinds of boots to choose from (total for both men's and women's). The team there (Reilly and John) treated us like royalty and did everything necessary to make sure we (i) got the boots that fit our feet (my wife has pretty unique feet), and (ii) boots that fit our ski-ability. The boots were molded to our feet, heels, etc. and she got a heating unit - pretty sick!! The price for what we got was super reasonable - I checked on the web while sitting at the shop and Podium was ~20% cheaper than what I found from virtually every online store for the boots I bought. I skied on them the next day and it was INSANE how much more comfortable I was and how much more control I had skiing. Yes, I said "comfort" and "ski boots" in the same sentence, crazy. For anyone buying boots or any ski gear (I also bought a new helmet), I highly recommend Podium. (I gather they do mountain bike and other cycling gear in the spring/summer)

When we walked in, our sales associate Michael was friendly, prompt to greet us, and genuinely interested in helping. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and never made me feel rushed or silly about my beginner questions, even though it was close to closing time. Since it was my first time mountain biking, he walked me through the differences between a full-suspension bike and a hardtail, let me try both, and helped me find the best fit. I ended up on a small women's hardtail, which fit me perfectly from their selection and was a much more beginner-friendly option. It was obvious that Michael wasn't just trying to rent me a bike--he was invested in making sure I had the right bike so my first mountain biking experience would be a great one. That level of customer service really stood out. Thank you, Michael! We're locals, and this experience definitely earned our future business. We rode that day with a family member visiting from Oregon who is an avid mountain biker. She had rented a bike in Vail, and after comparing both the bikes and the prices, she said she wished she had rented from Pioneer Sports instead. 10/10 service and experience. If you're looking for a quality rental at a great price from people who genuinely care about getting you on the right bike, I highly recommend Pioneer Sports. I'll definitely be back!

Not only is he an extraordinary boot fitter, but he's also just an amazing, positive person who's clearly passionate about making your ski experience the best it can be. He encouraged me to visit several other shops to try on boots they didn't carry, and after going to multiple places, it was obvious--Tim was by far the most knowledgeable and the most helpful. I originally came in with seasonal rentals, and he didn't even care whether I bought boots from him--he just wanted me in the right ones. He even called around to other local shops to find the exact pair I wanted and sent me there, knowing he'd lose the sale. That kind of integrity and dedication is rare. Tim made a customer for life. I can't wait to work with him again when I'm ready to buy skis. Highly, highly recommend!

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Breckenridge!…read more My husband and I both rented an e-bike for 4 hours along with a trailer for our 18 month old. The e-bikes were great because they featured "pedal assist" so the rider can adjust how much (or any) power to add as you pedal from a scale of 0-5. We took the bikes to Frisco along the bike path which was well marked and then around the lake there and back. The views were GORGEOUS and the whole experience was so much fun. I would recommend to anyone traveling in Breckenridge! The shop was clean and smelled really nice. The girl who helped us Morgan gave us a quick but thorough tutorial of the bikes before we went and made the whole experience very easy for us.
