Heated boot bags? Yes please! You put your boots in, plug the bag into your wall or your car and then your boots are 140 degrees.

Wow! I called the day ahead and made an appointment to fit a pair of replacement ski boots. Very much a barbershop vibe - the awesome tech spent 90 minutes and fit the boots perfectly. He even showed me a few tricks - putting the power strap inside the cuff of the boot to help my small calf fit the boot better, putting a bandaid type situation to help the hottronics glide smoothly along the back of the liner, and an adjustment on the back of the boot to put my foot into a more aggressive stance. Even though they were 3 old dudes they made me a little lady feel very comfortable and confident in my new set up. All the work was $100 plus tip, which seemed super reasonable.

Precision's boot-fitter Jimbo is very knowledgeable, demonstrating care about your boot fitting needs. Took my kids for racing boots fitting and was fantastic, they loved how well they fit now. I took mine in too and the boots now fit a lot better after being molded. If you're around Frisco this is the must stop for ski tuning needs!

They had a great selection and Jimbo fitted me with a terrific pair of Rossignols and didn't stop until I was totally happy.

When we walked in, our sales associate Michael was friendly, prompt to greet us, and genuinely interested in helping. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and never made me feel rushed or silly about my beginner questions, even though it was close to closing time. Since it was my first time mountain biking, he walked me through the differences between a full-suspension bike and a hardtail, let me try both, and helped me find the best fit. I ended up on a small women's hardtail, which fit me perfectly from their selection and was a much more beginner-friendly option. It was obvious that Michael wasn't just trying to rent me a bike--he was invested in making sure I had the right bike so my first mountain biking experience would be a great one. That level of customer service really stood out. Thank you, Michael! We're locals, and this experience definitely earned our future business. We rode that day with a family member visiting from Oregon who is an avid mountain biker. She had rented a bike in Vail, and after comparing both the bikes and the prices, she said she wished she had rented from Pioneer Sports instead. 10/10 service and experience. If you're looking for a quality rental at a great price from people who genuinely care about getting you on the right bike, I highly recommend Pioneer Sports. I'll definitely be back!

I'm a long-time local in Summit County. I had an unusual, but relatively simple issue with my…read moree-bike. I only needed help figuring out how to pull the motor without damaging the frame, so that I could plug in a new wiring harness. I had already mostly disassembled it. I had previously visited three shops, all with great reputations. First place wouldn't even consider looking at it. Second was nicer but said they won't touch motors on e-bikes. Third tried a bit but didn't put much effort into it. But then, I got to Rebel Sports. Jack came out to my vehicle and looked at the bike while it was still on my rack. He said he'd be happy to give it a try. I unloaded the bike and brought it inside. It took some time, but he finally got the motor out. He replaced the wiring harness and put it all back together for me. He even helped tweak the adjustment on my derailleur to get it shifting better. The cost for the repair and help was exceptionally reasonable. Jack told me that he genuinely had fun figuring it out and that he enjoys working on niche projects. Also, while I was there, I heard the interactions between other staff members and customers (all from out of town). Their customer service is exemplary. I will be going back to Rebel Sports for all of my bike needs in the future and I'll specially be asking for Jack.

We've been visiting Rebel Sports almost every year since 2016, and one of the main reasons we keep…read morecoming back is because they're the only place that carries the adorable trike that our kids absolutely love riding. Unfortunately, this year's experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was lacking. There was only one person at the desk, and the interactions felt dry, impersonal, and unwelcoming. We were initially told the trike was not available to rent. Later, another employee outside said it actually was. After explaining that we've rented the same trike nearly every year, they finally agreed to let us rent it. About 30 minutes into our ride, the trike's brake suddenly snapped open on its own. There was no collision, no crash, no impact--nothing that would reasonably explain a mechanical failure. Because the brake no longer worked, my 12-year-old daughter had to manually roll the trike back for nearly two hours, completely ruining what was supposed to be a fun family bike day. What disappointed us even more was how the situation was handled when we returned. Instead of showing any empathy, apologizing for the equipment failure, or offering a discount or credit for the ruined rental, we were immediately blamed for damaging the brake. Any reasonable person would ask: how is a rider responsible for a brake mechanically coming apart without any accident or impact? Rather than standing behind their equipment, Rebel Sports chose to argue over a brake issue that appeared to require nothing more than a pair of pliers and a few seconds to reconnect. We had traveled all the way from Texas and were parked far away--otherwise, we likely could have fixed it ourselves. Eventually, I realized it simply wasn't worth continuing the argument. I was prepared to pay $10, $20, $50, $100--or even buy the trike outright--just to end the discussion and move on. The cost was never the issue. What bothered me was the principle. A minor mechanical problem exposed what felt like an unfair, unprofessional, and unethical approach to customer service. Rather than treating a loyal customer with understanding and goodwill, the focus was on assigning blame over what appeared to be an obvious equipment failure. We've always believed in supporting local, family-owned businesses, and that's exactly why we've continued coming back for nearly a decade. But supporting small businesses should never come at the expense of fairness, accountability, honesty, and respect for customers. This experience left us genuinely disappointed, and unless customer service and accountability improve, we'll have to reconsider returning after so many years of making Rebel Sports part of our family trips.

Looking to finally upgrade my ski boots after 15yrs (yea, I know that is about 2x longer than I…read moreshould have been skiing on them). Podium in Frisco was recommended by several friends - just Wow. The ski boot selection is completely over the top. There must have been 30 different kinds of boots to choose from (total for both men's and women's). The team there (Reilly and John) treated us like royalty and did everything necessary to make sure we (i) got the boots that fit our feet (my wife has pretty unique feet), and (ii) boots that fit our ski-ability. The boots were molded to our feet, heels, etc. and she got a heating unit - pretty sick!! The price for what we got was super reasonable - I checked on the web while sitting at the shop and Podium was ~20% cheaper than what I found from virtually every online store for the boots I bought. I skied on them the next day and it was INSANE how much more comfortable I was and how much more control I had skiing. Yes, I said "comfort" and "ski boots" in the same sentence, crazy. For anyone buying boots or any ski gear (I also bought a new helmet), I highly recommend Podium. (I gather they do mountain bike and other cycling gear in the spring/summer)
