Showed up to this shop today after I had a binding break on me. It was a simple broke screw that just needed a replacement I went in and the short old guy with brown hair with some salt and pepper refused to look at my board and gave me a screw to put into it which seemed like it would work. He grifted us for cash because he said he could charge us for the time or we could just pay him directly which we did. I took the next run and my binding not only broke in the same spot but worse and injured my ankle/knee on the first 15 feet of the run. I took my board to another shop on the copper center village base and told the about my troubles and they legit looked at the bolt that the guy gave me and genuinely laughed because it was the wrong length and width and didn't know how somone would put that in without noticing. So I decided to go give a formal complaint so they didn't have to get this long mfn post. I told the short older man with brown hair that he did a bad job on my board and that he needs to check his work next time. I did not ask for compensation for the medical bills or anything in return I truly wanted to complain and it not be presently on the website. His reaction was to scream and yell and get in my face(all on camera in store) and then get emotional when he said he's been doing this for 20 years and has never made a mistake. He proceeded to lie to me and say that he didn't remember me and that I was scamming him and then switch his story to him kind of remembering me but he was busy when in fact I walked into an empty store(check security cameras). I was asking for nothing all I wanted was to inform him of his lack of caring when helping me and when I complained to his face instead of just doing a review with as much respect as I can for somone who's first response was to get in my face and be emotional (check the cameras). I talked to the lift attendants/bartenders/ski patrol and the guy who was truly able to fix my bindings and they told me the shop has a horrible record and the guy in specific is a known to be rude and rush minor jobs read more

I bought a pair of snowboard boots and a pair of snow boots from here. The snow boots work great, but the snowboard boots were only worn for 30 minutes and cut my left ankle up very badly, and only my left foot. I brought them back the same day and they refused to give me a refund. I ended up getting a refund thru vans, but I would recommend staying away from this shop, they do not care about their customers. Also the owner Steve was very rude to me as well. read more

I bought a pair of Burton Photon snowboard boots. I was traveling and had them shipped to my son. Unfortunately they sat in the shop for a week before being shipped and arrived the day after I left my son's. I then requested to pick them up in the shop, the woman helping lacked empathy, and didn't seem to care that I had called daily to find out what was going on, and couldn't get an answer. Went in to rent a couple of Bikes for a ride up/down the valley. Steve(Owner) was very chill and helpful in making our decision to rent E Assist Bicycles. He mentioned that Vail Pass(not Vail) was about 6 miles away, but we were not paying attention to the exact verbiage We ended up riding the '21' miles to Vail for something to eat. On our way back, it started to rain snd our bike ran out of juice:( When I called Steve, he offered to come pick us up(lifesaver!!) The shop was great, a lot of options and the latest gear and bikes. Steve was helpful and the prices were reasonable (way cheaper than Copper!) If you are in the area, make a point to go to Gravitee, You won't regret it read more

Looking for a Jones's ultra mind expander snowboard. Due to this time of year, right before the new season starts, everywhere is selling at the original price. I found Gravitee has the right board I like with a 20% discount. But the shop doesn't have many reviews online, so I was not sure at the beginning. I used the Chat on their website to find out more information. Someone replied to my message in about 3 minutes and confirmed the board was brand new, the price was right with a discount, and the shipping speed. So I felt the shop was ok and ordered right away. I sent him the order confirmation and told him it was my husband's birthday gift, asking if he could ship it out ASAP. He replied with a snapshot of THE board on top of the shop rack and told me "I am grabbing it and boxing it up", very sweet. Thank you! The snowboard was delivered in 5 days. Rented electric assist bikes from here and rode the beautiful trail to Vail. Steve was the BEST and so helpful!!!

I have bought a number of things from this shop but today I made my last purchase. Steve, the owner, is incredibly rude and curt. He doesn't have time to greet you because he's so busy on his laptop over at the bar. When you are ready to pay, he acts as if it's a chore to go over to the register and take your money. As a longtime local and small business owner myself, I am appalled that Steve is able to get away with this. I will take my business elsewhere and tell every one of my friends to do the same--there are plenty of other local shops in the county that offer great gear AND great service. read more

A LOCAL HIPSTER SKI BOOT BAR This ridiculously over priced ski gear "salon" would be tolerable if you were met at the door by an enthusiastic planker. Unfortunately the staff sit smugly around an arced bar talking off-piste. PRO TIP: Go, take pics of the product you like, then buy it online discounted after season. read more

Owner (Steve) was the rudest person. My husband and I went in to buy me a new set up, they had everything we wanted but because of him being such a prick we decided to support another local shop. Don't support this asshole. There are so many more small shops to support that will treat people with the respect they deserve. Won't be back!!!!! read more

We were staying at a condo at Copper Mountain. The Gravitee Shop was conveniently located in the Center Village. I rented a hybrid bike from Steve and took off on the trail up to the top of Vail Pass. I'm from Georgia and the high altitude caught up with me about halfway up. I came back down to the shop and Steve was happy to switch me over to one of his "cheater" bikes with the E-assist. I made a couple trips up to the top in much better shape, cheerfully passing up other bikers. Highly recommend this shop if you're in the area. Thumbs up to the trail for great scenery, as well. read more

Had to run in this morning cause I got a new board in June and completely forgot a stomp pad. Staff was incredibly helpful, cleaned the board and applied it for me. Was in the beginning of last season cause the strap on my binding broke at the top of the gondola. Was in and out with a fixed binding in less than 10 minutes. Overpriced with absolute crap for customer service. Bought a $250 pair of ski pants that are now worthless to me but buyer beware...their 7-day return policy is false! Tags still on and won't return the very next day. Just shop elsewhere...you have choices. read more

I brought my family to a few other shops to rent demo boards but your inventory tops all the competitors. Clean rental boots and nice gear overall. Price was the same as all the other shops. This was an easy choice. read more
