Brought my board in to get spots touched up. Showed the guy at the desk what i was referring to. He assured to me with buying the full package the spots would be attended to. I wasn't expecting perfection just some effort. But when I got the board back they did not address the two main spots I needed attention too at all and did bare minimum on the rest. I feel lied to and upsold , out of money I could have put elsewher. Showed up to rent some ski equipment for my wife, but during our drive up from Albuquerque to the slopes my daughter and I realized that our boots and helmets got left behind, too late to turn around, so when we showed up we met with Tyler Mcilvaine. I told him what we did and he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for the weekend ski trip. I have never met anyone with such a n uplifted spirit and super friendly. Ski rentals, gear, clothing and more. The fams and I stayed in Keystone during the holidays and our lodge was located at River Run, so this store was a extremely convenient for us to visit. First, I bought my daughter ski goggles here and they were super helpful with finding the perfect size for her. Our next experiences was renting skis, boots and a helmet for her. I placed the order on-line, but the line to pick-up the equipment on the day-of took about an hour. Getting fitted for the boots did not take long at all, but the line for the skis took forever. I'm sure they knew that day was going to be busy, but the servicing all of the demand took forever. I wish they had a line for those that placed their order on-line ahead of time. There was no point of me doing that because I did not get priority at all. Other than standing in line waiting for rentals, I liked this store. It served its purpose for any last-minute things you need for your snow adventure. It's pricey, but don't be surprised, especially if you are staying at the resort, you'll understand! They do not rent ski clothing here, but go down to Norski, which was several hundred feet down from the back entrance of Keystone Sports. read more

I came to Keystone Sports with the goal of buying new clipless mountain bike shoes before we rode today. I was surprised to only find two pairs of clipless shoes, fortunately one pair was in my size and fit well. I looked to Joe the sales men and inquired about SPD clips for my shoes. He then runs to the back to inquire and informs me they do not carry SPD clips for the clipsless shoes they sell and that I will need to pull them off my old shoes which were conveniently at my house. I go all the way home, get my old shoes, come back and buy the shoes. While checking out I see the SPD clips I needed to buy right there behind the counter. One of the worst (if not THE worst) equipment rental places I have ever visited. The majority of the staff could not understand basic English which made communication difficult. It took 3 trips to the store to finally get the correct sized ski boot, simply because the store associates could not understand. In addition, they failed to check to see if the boots clipped in properly to the skis, so that caused another trip to the store. Most of the associates just seemed put out that they actually had to deal with a customer. There were a couple of helpful folks, but all in all, one of the worst experiences and I would recommend finding another place to rent your equipment from. read more

Do not rent from here. Extremely poor customer service. I rented a snowboard for my son, my son arrived at the store at 9:11am and didn't leave until 11:00am. No apology, no refund, no discount, nothing. My son has never seen a store this disorganized. Even returning the equipment was a nightmare. This place rented us 2 downhill mountain bikes and the brakes went out on both bikes on the way down the mountain. Thank god or whoever you're into that we were on the green run and that my bf wasn't up doing blacks. It took us 45 minutes to get down the hill. They refunded our $ but they did NOT seem surprised or concerned in the least, and our lift ticket $ was a waste of $100. It is beyond appalling that this happened. Funny how we have to sign a broken body waiver but they have ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFETY WHATSOEVER. This is NOT a real bike shop! These bikes are little more than the public clunkers you would rent in towns to get around. Stay away from this place if you don't want to potentially die on crap equipment. read more

I rented skis from Keystone Sports and had a shockingly dangerous experience. Terrible service aside (the guy who helped me acted like I was a horrible inconvenience to him and was downright rude), they did not perform safety checks on the bindings. I got to the summit if the mountain via gondola, went to put on my skis only to find out that the bindings were set more than an inch longer than my boots. I called Keystone Sports and asked them to fix the issue and they said I had to come down the mountain and back to their shop in order to do so. I had to take carry my skis back to the gondola, ride down the mountain and get everything fixed. This was a huge waste of my precious skiing/mountain time. Their only redemption was the manager's response to the issue. He fixed the skis, refunded me for the duration of the rental and carried my skis to the front of the gondola line so I could get back to the top of the mountain. For this reason, I gave Keystone Sports two stars rather than one. read more

I was at Keystone visiting my father for a week and I got my rentals through Keystone Sports. The boots were great and the demo board was awesome! Shoutout to the guys working Wednesday January 13th who were really helpful and quick. I was in and out. The real hero though is Genesis who was working the register on Friday the 15th during the afternoon. I needed a new pair of mittens and I was having a hard time finding the pair I wanted and within my price range. She set me up with the best pair I've ever had, but I only had $100 and they were over that. My father is an employee though so we thought with the discount they'd be just under $100. It turns out they were $5 over which meant I'd have to drive all the way back to Dillon and get some more cash. Genesis though wasn't going to have any of that nonsense though and she proceeded to pull out some of her own cash and give me $5! Seriously the best service I've ever had!
