I have rented from Breeze around 20-30 times in the past 3 years without issue. But on January 28-31 my group had a terrible experience. It wasn't just one thing, it was everything. The employees were incompetent & rude: On one pair of skis they just didn't even bother setting the binding for one of the skis so my friends boot just couldn't fit and he had to get re-adjusted. Another friend, only his 3rd time skiing ever, was given skis way, way too big for his height. And my other friend had to wait about 45 minutes because the employees didn't even know how to set snowboard bindings??? Across the board, most of my group said they were new to skiing. You'd think this would invite the employees to give a quick tutorial about the equipment, how it works, and best practices to keep it in great condition.....nope. I used to recommend Breeze to everyone, now I'll be sending them elsewhere. read more

My experience here was awful. We called to make sure the store would be open until 6:00 to pick up my rental gear and they assured us they would be as these were their updated store hours. We arrived at 5:20 and the place was empty, no one around whatsoever to talk to. We tried to call to get support but there is no one that is local to offer help. All phone calls were directed to some general agency and they were extremely unhelpful and sent us on a wild goose chase to get gear somewhere else. I do not recommend this place at all it was not worth the stress and they were very unhelpful. 50% of the employees were polite. 50% of the employees knew what they were doing. 50% of the employees were helping 20% of the people in the shop. There were two guys working. You do the math. The nice guy was great, but for a party of 4 being stuck with the other guy, that's just wrong. Should it take literally 50 mins to get fitted for 4 snowboards and boots? With ONE other customer in the shop? I know it should not have because the other guy had to come over again and again to help the first guy who could not install the board fittings, and one installed, kept discovering he installed the wrong fittings, a fact which Mr. Nice Guy kept helping him out with. The WORST part was the guy we were stuck with - I think he was the boss! The other guy was BRAND NEW! If you need to, go in and ask for Benji. If he's not available, bail. read more

So, came here at 4pm on a holiday week. 2 people working. One big group ahead of us. I don't blame them for helping the big group at once, but once they were done, one of the guys then sat there and checked in people returning gear. We ordered our rentals for 3 of us ahead of time, but 45 minutes later, they have taken care of 1 single group. So, here we sit, still nothing. This place is almost empty. Bottom line. Stay Away. If your time is worth something, stay away! Go somewhere with a proper amount of people working. read more

Do not rent anything from this store! They have the worse customer service and very inexperienced staff. We were fitted with the wrong size ski boots and as a beginner we had no clue. Also they failed to give us our ski poles so spent the first day learning without the proper equipment. read more

We regret renting from Breeze. It took 3 HOURS to get our skis. Showed up at 9:15 am and was out of there after 12:00!!!! Half a day of skiing shot! Ran across street later in the day to rent again and spent 5 minutes. read more

This was my first time in Colorado snowboarding (originally from the poconos) and this rental place had us in and out in a flash! Daniel was great in getting our equipment to us fast. Half the price of the shops in the village, but just a 3 minute drive from the village. We rented online; to find deals search for coupon codes. We ended up getting my son's snowboard package free (dad rented one) and 30% off. Two snowboarders and a skier for a full week went from $530 to $330 at checkout. Guys who work there are super helpful and nice. I had to go in midweek to rent some boots b/c my old ones were killing me and they couldn't have been more helpful. I will absolutely rent there again. read more

This place was amazing! I needed ski rentals for the weekend and we had originally tried to place a reservation online and it wasn't going through. I called, let them know the situation and they took down all my info and told me that when we came in to get fitted, they would honor the online price- which they did! The guy helping us was super nice, very helpful and gave us some extra info for when I buy my own set of boots soon. We were in and out within 10/20 minutes. When we were about to leave to ski, I realized that the skis I was given were too small for the ones i usually ski on, so I went back down, told him I would like to use 140's rather than 130's and he immediately fit the boots to the ski bindings and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Overall, if i wasn't buying my own skis and boots, I would rent here all the time! I recommend it to anyone else, as it is cheaper than the rental place at the base of the mountain. **ALSO** the ski's and boots they give you to rent look like new! read more

My friends and I received excellent service here! This was my 2nd year in a row to rent from Breeze. Great quality gear, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. One of my friends had kind of a freak fall and broke one of his skis (thankfully he was not hurt). He had paid the $3 damage waiver fee and Breeze dealt with it without a problem and gave him a new set a skis. A couple of our other friends rented from another shop and saved about $5/day but did not have near the service. I highly recommend renting from here. read more

When a competitor right down the street couldn't accommodate us (our children needed skis/boots at the last second), the staff here want above and beyond to help us out and get us in/out quickly! No waiting which was good. Then initially received poor equipment which was supposable upgrade. Clerk helping me was not very helpful and felt like was just trying to push me through their system. However upon my concerns, Joseph other clerk there really made the rental worth while taking time to correctly fit my gear. Made lemonade out of lemons so deserve a big thumbs up!! read more
