Lots of really cool leather goods, hats, kids toys, jewelry, western items, decorations, etc. The wares they had were great, so why the two stars? The gentleman behind the counter barely acknowledged us and ignored us for another customer who was taking his time deciding on expensive purchases and shipping back to New York. All I wanted to purchase was a carved wooden bear that I thought was really cool but at $15 it seems it wasn't enough to catch his attention or even an "I'll be right with you." There was no one else in the shop but us and the other patron. After fifteen minutes of waiting and wandering, we put it back on the shelf and left.

So many things to check out adornment wise for hats. Beads, feathers, pins, stamps, and so much more. The store itself is classic western style making it fun to walk around. Loved how the even the hat rim could be customized as well with just a little heat. There's a sister store in Aspen as well - which is very popular with locals and visitors alike. Recommend if you are looking for something truly special and unique. As with most things that are well made and custom you can expect to pay a bit more.

All the staff were excellent but I can't say enough amazing things about Allison!! The evening we arrived to our airbnb, I realized we forgot ALL our shoes back home except the ones on our feet. That included our dress shoes for the big day. Luckily we had one more full day before our elopement and Grand Mountain Trading was the first place I put on my list in hopes of finding shoes. I didn't have a lot of hope as my husband is a size 14 men's and I'm size 12 women's, and most places don't carry our sizes. And I figured there was no way a small mountain town store would have our sizes. I WAS WRONG. We found hiking shoes in both of our sizes. I even found mine on sale in the bargain room. My husband found these perfect black cowboy boots, and I ended up getting some super cute boots to wear on the big day, instead of settling for my oofo flip flops. Now let me talk about Libby. This employee is an angel! We told her our story and before even trying to sell their shoes, she was telling us about other places we could go. She was very nice and helpful. When checking out, I believe it was the owner, she knocked my shoes down from $99.99 to $49.99 and took $10 off each pair of boots as she also heard about our story. We also received tokens for $5 off every $30 spent. We went back the next day after our elopement and got some awesome RMNP shirts. If you're in the Granby area, you need to stop in Grand Mountain Trading!

This store had a pretty diverse selection for a small store - from higher end, nice shirts for both men and women, to regular souvenir Ts. They also have some shirts that are 12.99 and down to $10.99 if you buy 3 or more and they actually weren't bad. They had some nice hats too. They had a great children's section as well. They also offered some magnets, picture frames, and drinkware. We were disappointed that they didn't sell pint glasses. Since moving to CO, we've started quite a collection. Everywhere here that does giveaways, gives pint glasses. We even got one for riding the Santa Express train, which was obviously a children's event, lol. The reasons for only 4 stars are 1) they didn't have a lot of sizes. For example, most of the men's shirts only had XL and XXL left and the women's shirts had mostly smalls and mediums left. You would think they would adjust their inventory accordingly. And 2) the prices were a bit high. Just because you're in Aspen, that doesn't make a $10 picture frame worth $35 - come on!

They have t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts in all different sizes and colors. I really like the tie dye mix with the solid colors. The gentleman running the store was helpful but not so engaging. The prices were a little high end for kids clothing but this is a tourist area so I understand. I did buy a tie dye t-shirt for my Granddaughter and a couple bandanas also. The inside of the business is not very big and has a lot of merchandise on shelves and haning. Not a lot of room to move around. So many options and mostly clothes.
