After waiting 10 minutes while he talked to his buddy I asked a few basic questions to an older guy, maybe owner, about finding parts for my bike. As I'm walking out he tells me to "spend some money next time". Not getting a cent from me after that! Worst customer service I've received in a long time. Be a better steward of your sport! Helping people new to the sport is an important role for shops to play. Would love to support my local bike shop but nah I'll just buy everything on the internet after that experience!

Flat-out dangerous and shockingly unprofessional -- avoid this bike rental shop at all costs…read more We reserved two kids' bikes online, thinking it would make for a quick, easy pickup. Instead, it took over 50 minutes to get them. One incompetent employee was running the show alone, and when a second college aged worker finally showed up, he immediately started helping walk-ins who came long after us. All we needed was two kids' bikes fitted appropriately, two helmets, and a bike lock. Instead, we got a slow-motion circus. The lock was forgotten entirely, which made for an interesting lunch experience. A couple with no reservation showed up, got their bikes, and were on their way with in minutes. Then a group of 15 walked in and were helped immediately--while we were still standing there trying to get one hand brake adjusted by a guy clearly more interested in eating his brunch food than helping his customers. What happened next is what makes this shop not just frustrating, but outright dangerous. We pointed out that my son's bike was making a loud squealing noise before we even left, but they dismissed it as "fine." It absolutely wasn't. The bike emitted piercing, high-pitched screeching sounds for the entire seven hours (see video). Then.....my son's entire BACK WHEEL FELL OFF mid-ride. Let that sink in: the back wheel of a kids' bike came unhinged while riding downhill. We were extremely lucky it didn't result in a serious injury. That kind of failure is inexcusable and a clear sign of negligence with zero safety protocols. Thankfully, we know a little about bikes and could safely reattach the wheel since we were 10-15 miles away from the shop. This place is a liability nightmare and a customer service disaster. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. There are far better, safer, more competent bike rental shops all over town. This one should be avoided at all costs.

While I waited for my son's bike to be repaired, I had the chance to check out some of their Specialized bikes, which were really impressive. They're definitely worth considering if you're looking for a great bike shop or a new bike.

He grifted us for cash because he said he could charge us for the time or we could just pay him directly which we did. I took the next run and my binding not only broke in the same spot but worse and injured my ankle/knee on the first 15 feet of the run. I took my board to another shop on the copper center village base and told the about my troubles and they legit looked at the bolt that the guy gave me and genuinely laughed because it was the wrong length and width and didn't know how somone would put that in without noticing. So I decided to go give a formal complaint so they didn't have to get this long mfn post. I told the short older man with brown hair that he did a bad job on my board and that he needs to check his work next time. I did not ask for compensation for the medical bills or anything in return I truly wanted to complain and it not be presently on the website. His reaction was to scream and yell and get in my face(all on camera in store) and then get emotional when he said he's been doing this for 20 years and has never made a mistake. He proceeded to lie to me and say that he didn't remember me and that I was scamming him and then switch his story to him kind of remembering me but he was busy when in fact I walked into an empty store(check security cameras). I was asking for nothing all I wanted was to inform him of his lack of caring when helping me and when I complained to his face instead of just doing a review with as much respect as I can for somone who's first response was to get in my face and be emotional (check the cameras). I talked to the lift attendants/bartenders/ski patrol and the guy who was truly able to fix my bindings and they told me the shop has a horrible record and the guy in specific is a known to be rude and rush minor jobs
