I went to the Eagle store had a great time trying bikes asking questions. Going back several times to this location and the Eagle Vail location. I bought my final bike from Eagle Vail. Came in looking for some pedals and some other things, didn't have many options for pedals since it was early season and they were still stocking for the summer so I didn't get any. After waiting 10 minutes while he talked to his buddy I asked a few basic questions to an older guy, maybe owner, about finding parts for my bike. Couldn't get a strait answer and treated me as if he didn't want to help and showed he didn't have patience for it and failed to even point me in a direction to find the parts I needed. As I'm walking out he tells me to "spend some money next time". Not getting a cent from me after that! Worst customer service I've received in a long time. Be a better steward of your sport! Helping people new to the sport is an important role for shops to play. Would love to support my local bike shop but nah I'll just buy everything on the internet after that experience! read more

I can't begin to say how disappointed I am in this business. If I could give 0 stars I would. I called a couple days ago about getting some repairs done on my bicycle. The guy I spoke to was nice and told me to bring it in and they would get it taken care of. So I took it in this morning. The person, well actually he was little more than a kid, needs serious lessons in customer service. He told me that because my bike was so old that he didn't know if they had the parts and if they did he didn't know where they were. He then told me he didn't figure they had the parts and he would have to order them, but they probably wouldn't be there until October and they would cost extra. He then turned around and walked away. It was quite obvious that he, not only couldn't be bothered, but he didn't want to deal with me and couldn't care less about blowing me off. I tried calling a couple times to talk to the owner or manager, but no one ever answered. Apparently if your bicycle isn't new and shiny they couldn't care less about doing repairs for you. read more

Assembled my e-bike in a jiffy- had all the spare parts and accessories a girl could need to kit out my bike for the Valley's terrain. After 500 miles of riding by our teens, taking it back in for a minor brake tune-up shortly. read more

I was driving through Eagle on my way from Boulder to San Francisco. Charlie Brown, the owner, and Marshall his shop hand were super friendly and helpful. They don't rent bikes but they managed to get me a Kona to demo. They have lots of great accessories too. They provided great trail recommendations. I'm an out-of-state Mountain Biker that had an extremely positive experience with Mountain Pedaler's Avon location. It was fantastic to deal with the person who actually built the bike over the phone. I made the purchase right then and there and it was boxed up within a matter of a day or two. The guys at MP are awesome! Last year I rented a bike (BMC mt bike) and was able to purchase it from them at the end of the season, even my husband loves to steal it for a ride because the BMC performance is awesome on it. Unfortunately my bike fell off the bike rack at 70 mph on I-70 n it survived!!! I took it in for the guys to look at and they didn't see anything wrong with it. They were impressed that this aluminum frame BMC bike survived, but they did say, "BMC really has a durable bike." They had two guys verify it was ok.
