This may seem small to some, but all their benches lift up for storage, which is a HUGE plus in my book. Now I don't have to stop at a locker to drop off my regular sneakers/boots...I can just leave my kicks right there in the rental shop. When I returned later that day, swapping skis for shoes was an easy process... I was walking out the door and off to some après ski pubs in no time!

Both times the employees were condescending to my questions and curiosity about their products. I dealt with Alex - who was very cold and uninterested. I had to engage him and drive the whole convo as wasn't greeting anyone. And also dealt with a heavier set gentleman with glasses (wearing a polo shirt).. who was condescending and gave a know it all vibe. I asked him to try on a pair of boots, and he basically said no, and shut down the conversation. I took my business elsewhere and spent $2200 (including the same boots I wanted - and for $100 less). I would recommend either shopping with Ski Mountain All-Stars (Avon) or Vail Sports (next door) - both super friendly and actually have better prices for same items.

Horrific customer experience and service. There were so many confusion on the return process with…read morethe employees, maybe due to the language barrier of their staff who spoke very little English. Most of the staff were young adults from Peru, Argentina, Brazil, etc... lacked any work ethics, majority were chatting with each other or on their phone, not helping customers in line. Would not recommend doing any rentals or returns at the resort locations. You will get much better experience and treatment at the actual Epic Mountain store fronts instead. The only positive is the convenience of returning your rental at the resort after a day on the mountain.
