Today, one of the employees made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had my headphones on, and I was walking up and down the isles, looking for earrings for a trip coming up, and the employee came up and took my baskets stating I was not able to carry my basket around , I was a little confused since I had been there years with no issues. I typically don't pay attention to the employees when I'm there, but then I realized they were following me around like a hawk. Which I get it to an extent, but I wasn't doing anything suspicious I typically walk in the center of the isles and just look at everything. I only touched stuff if it's something I'm potentially interested in. No big bag I had a small fanny pack. What made it worse was that then I watched other people walking around with their baskets being able to freely shop. Maybe because I keep my headphones on and just look for what I'm looking for, but they felt a certain way. I don't go in corners of the stores or anything. I just go there to shop. Like I said, I have been going here for most of my adult life. I felt super uncomfortable and yucky after that. I will not be returning. The picture I attached is how I was dressed today and what I look like. And like I said, I have been going there for years and never have I had my basket taken away.

If it's clothing for men it's probably going to be custom embroidered shirts or the ones with the dazzle but one thing for sure, you will get your big jewelry on here if you want, but an elegant way. Whether you're looking for sorority-fraternity, girlfriend theme shirts or a party shirt with a statement, this could be your place as I managed to get a few custom print shirts for just under $20. I picked out my design and the color of shirt and the location of where I wanted it and I am definitely happy with the quality of everything. A lot of the stuff on the 2nd floor was closed when we came and after about 30-40 minutes it all looked the same. Would like the see the stores shake it up a bit and be different but I get it and knew what to expect.

Each booth is numbered and some sellers go so far as to set up small signs with their size ranges and brands offered or hang small banners from the top surface to attract customers. Each item is marked with their seller's booth number, the size, and the price. While some people may not like this approach to consignment shopping, I thought it was kind of nice to find booths that had roughly the same size and a similar taste in fashion rather than shuffling through a rack of one hundred pairs of pants. I will say that there was quite a range of prices with many pieces listed for $5 or $10 but also some items listed for $40+. I did expect to find more higher end brands but was overall satisfied with the condition of the clothes. The store was clean, well lit and organized during my visit. They have three dressing rooms with large mirrors so you can make sure items fit before purchasing as all sales are final. They could however do a better job posting more information on how the store operates. When I checked out I mentioned to the woman behind the counter that it was my first time visiting and she shared that items sometimes go on sale later in the week when sellers are getting close to the time that they must rotate their inventory around the weekend. With this in mind, if you're looking for a fresh drop stop by in the beginning of the week, if you're looking for a deal, stop by closer to Friday.

Whether you have a specific type of item in mind or just want to browse, Manready Mercantile has a huge variety of items that you won't find anywhere else. Aside from their unique items, Manready Mercantile really goes above and beyond to help create an experience that connects the customer with their products. They have a custom hat bar with a variety of patches that can be prepared just to your liking and a candle bar where guests are treated to an old fashioned while making their very own candle to take home. While I haven't done it myself, this seems like a great idea to do with a date, some girlfriends, or even your mom or dad. They also do a great job keeping up with their website if you want to order from the comfort of your couch or get a little preview of current inventory before heading into the store.
