This little shop has some expensive and quality gifts, but it's really specific to alot of children's clothes, some unusual and pricey glassware/gift items, a counter area with fashion jewelry, and candles. There were a few other other things, like Christmas decorations, but everything is so expensive! The big problem is you can't tell what this store wants to be. It's like somebody just bought a bunch of stuff they liked and put it in a store. Weird way to plan a store, so it's hard for me to imagine coming back here over and over. read more

A nice neighborhood shop that's been around for a while, is always chock full of Mackenzie-Childs, Bella Notte bedding, Meri-Meri paper goods, beautiful children's clothing, Maileg toys, stationery, great Christmas ornaments and the most wonderful mini custom chandeliers. This place is so chic. I went in as I normally drive by on my way to work as their signage has always made me curious. Anyway, they carry my favorite linen line (Bella Notte), they have a nice jewelry section, and a large variety of Mackenzie Childs EVERYTHING. I walked out with a autographed baseball for my uncle's bday (you must check out their second floor for men's gifts), and adorable tea pot for my mother in law, and I was able to find great gifts for my nieces from their kids section. There's a building outback filled with baby and kids clothes, toys, Jellycat stuffed animals, super cute kids books, and more. Lastly, I'm very thankful to their friendly staff, not only did they make me feel welcomed, but super helpful picking gifts and they wrapped them all for FREE!!! Shout out to them for picking that super elegant wrapping paper and silk ribbon! Blue Leaf made me look and feel like a king! read more

Stopped in to check this place out on Friday. Honestly I don't think they do a good job of saying what they have inside because it said furniture and gifts. The entire back building is baby/kid stuff! This is a great place for a baby shower or kids birthday gift and I had no idea it even existed! The main building has mostly jewelry and small home items. The selection is somewhat limited but there are unique items that you might not find elsewhere. Prices comparable to other boutique stores in the area (Kuhl-Linscomb, etc...) I've passed by Blue Leaf many (many) times on my way to Sephora, and once the word "stationery" registered in my mind (it's above the Blue Leaf windows--no other words really registered), I hopped my way in. Blue Leaf is remniscent of Kuhl-Linscomb--there are furniture and home trimmings, but gifts and knickknacks. To the wall on the far left, you have your fancy schmancy lotions (e.g. Mor, Jo Malone) and stationery (Vera Wang, Kate Spade, Crane & Co.). With Kuhl-Linscomb, you definitely get the feeling that you're in a retail space. However, with the dim lighting, preponderance of dark wood furniture, and smaller second level, which sometimes doesn't have anyone working up there, I felt like I was in the "castle" in "My Little Princess." Wait--isn't that a horse? What's that book/movie where the girl is up in a tower, but pretends she's a princess, and turns out to be a princess, never mind that that story line runs in just about every fairy tale? "A Little Princess"! Thank you, Google. There are two staircases, one in the middle and one on the right. One has fun notebooks at the bottom of the staircase. I now own a glittery moose notebook (kitsch is always cool) and a cherry blossom notebook. Though, I had bought some cherry blossom paper and a blank notebook at Paper Source, determined to make my own notebooks, only to realize that had cost more than the one from Blue Leaf. Damn. On the second floor, you have individual greeting cards, gifts for your dog, fun/tacky gifts, books, perfume, smaller and more expensive gifts (such as a hand-carved chess set--more than a grand is all I remember), and things to go on your bed (excluding Fabio). Blue Leaf is fun to browse, though it gives me various heart-attack inducing moments (oh, that looks nice *flips over to look at price tag* ack, ack, okay, time to go look at some cards). read more

This place is okay. I went in thinking that I could find an inexpensive hostess gift and was sorely disappointed. The cheapest thing I could find were some paper napkins embossed with initials for $10ish. They were okay, but not phenomenal so I didn't end up buying them. I did like their furniture and dish ware selection. Compared to other boutique stores in the area, this just sort of lacked a solid character. May come back here if I'm in need of new house decor. Otherwise, I don't see myself coming back. read more

Not a huge fan. I attended an event for an artist friend of mine in January and the owners weren't talking to anyone but their 2 friends that had stopped by. They were following my group of friends around and asking the shop girls what we were buying. It was extremely awkward considering there was no one in the store besides my circle of friends. I would have thought they would have been more friendly and welcoming to new customers. The shop is extremely cute but the it's nothing new or original. Add the horrible parking and it's not worth it. Same stuff at other boutique shops. read more

I love this place! It's super cute and has so many things that you didn't even know you needed/wanted. If you're looking for a present (any occasion) I definitely recommend Blue Leaf. The bedding selection is great and I found a comforter that my husband and I love. The baby and children clothing section is beautiful and so many options are available. I loved the local feel and comfort of the entire place. Although expensive, you'll enjoy perusing everything they have to offer. read more

This is like Bering's gift section on steroids. Found the most awesome, gorgeous and unique Christmas tree skirt at 1/2 price here one January & we've been enjoying it around the bottom of our tree ever since. All kinds of beautiful things. Very friendly staff, too. -- Had to edit this & say it's not just a furniture store by a long shot. They have stationery, knick-knacks, jewelry, toys and other gifts. Never thought of this place as a furniture store after walking in. More of a fabulous gift shop. read more
