I came to Pure Glow for infrared sauna. I came here in the afternoon on a Sunday so it was really busy. However, there was only one person working the entire place for several people booked for spray tan. I only booked infrared sauna so the woman working checked me in, showed me the area downstairs. The sauna looked like it is still pretty new and its the Sunlighten brand which is a brand I've enjoyed in the past. Even though the place was really busy for the spray tans, the sauna is downstairs, so I had the whole sauna area to myself which was amazing! I think its nice they have the sauna separate downstairs since its pretty busy with people coming in and out upstairs. The towels were beautiful quality and with each session they provide a towel and an entire bottle of Essentia water - complementary! Thank you! Some issues that came up before and after my session. There was no information available on the website as to pricing for the sessions. I had to email someone to find out. I was not able to book a session on the website I had to email someone to figure that out. I just checked the website and the section for booking does seem to work now. At the end of my session, the person working was so busy with clients for spray tan I had to wait 15 minutes to pay. Then the system to pay wasn't working due a technical issue. In the end, they did not charge me due to the inconvenience which I really appreciated. The woman working that day was incredibly kind and trying so hard to do a good job. It was not her fault it was just too busy that day for one person. Hopefully, she can have someone help her on the weekends or have more support in some way in the future. read more

Came here for an APPOINTMENT to use the sauna, and it was not a good experience. After reading some reviews and seeing photos prior to visiting, I was really excited for my experience. I just moved from the west coast to Massachusetts, and I have been searching for a new go-to sauna place to replace the one I loved dearly from my hometown. First, I tried calling the store because I was running 2 minutes late. It went straight to voicemail. The worker up front didn't mind it so much when we arrived, and still gave us our scheduled appointment which was nice. The worker asked us if it was our first time visiting, so I thought "maybe they're going to show us a bit more of the space, or what they specialize in, since we said yes it was our first time visiting." My boyfriend even mentioned that he has never been to a sauna before, so we thought maybe the worker was going to get into detail about it or tell us more about it. But no, they just said "oh okay" and we were just taken right away to the sauna room and told that they'd come back once our time was over. Why bother asking us if it was our first time coming to this place? I also felt some sort of neglect--being people of color, it just felt like because we didn't "fit in" we were outcasts. I personally use the sauna to help with my disabled lymphatic system. It was truly a really disappointing experience coming here, especially because the sauna wasn't warmed up when we arrived. It was cold, then warmed up after 15-20 minutes of waiting inside the sauna. I felt we paid only for the other half of 25 minutes! We were not explained of what buttons were what (like what turned on the LED lights or how to use the Bluetooth speakers); and for a 2 person sauna, it was not worth the price or experience. My old sauna go-to place had way more space, a TV, just as clean, and they were thorough when it came to explaining what LED light was good for what & so forth. After we were done with our appointment, the worker just asked for the payment confirmation, and that was pretty much it. It felt as if we were rushed because we were close to the closing hour. No water or anything offered to us, which sucked. We ran across the street to the ice cream shop to get some. I don't think I would come back here, and I hope I can find another sauna place soon. read more

The sauna is lovely and private but lacking in amenities. Not even a water cooler. My boyfriend and I only brought one bottle each even though it recommends you drink 30 oz during.. we were both dehydrated and had headaches after. The staff is very nice though. However they should really have a water cooler. You can tell this place is all profit. Won't be back. read more

I recent went to pure glow to use the infrared sauna and I have and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely friendly and the sauna was very relaxing and I felt great when I got out. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good experience. read more

This place is so gorgeous and made me FEEL GORGEOUS too. Lauren and the rest of the staff are soooo sweet and kind and made me feel so comfortable during my tan. I LOVE how natural the tan looks and how hydrated my skin felt afterwards too. I also did a session in the infrared sauna before hand and I came out feeling super refreshed. It was my first time and wasn't sure what to expect, but I think I'll be back! I also signed up to do sessions with the LED light therapy (GOODBYE CELLULITE!) and after my first session I can say I'm so hooked because it's just the most relaxing 20 minutes of my week. Super happy Pure Glow is out in Metrowest now, it's definitely a welcome addition to the community. read more
