Scheduling is easy, just click and search for the time you would like and I received a confirmation of my appointment quickly. There is a lot of free (2hr) parking right out front on Main St (and also the side streets) and she has a cute set-up with her tent and everything she needs to customize it for you. I never thought about undertones, but that factors in after deciding which shade you would like. I have a pool at my apartment building, but did this to save my skin from more damage while still being able to look like I am enjoying summer! The spray is nice and cool when it goes on, and I have the great, all-over and even color that I wanted! I went home wearing a very loose t-shirt dress (the bronzing solution washed right out) and relaxed until I could rinse off the solution. I barely noticed the smell, and I can't stand anything that has a strong/weird scent. I was excited after the cool shower (just a quick rinse, no soap!!), applied a lot of lotion before bed, woke up looking great and proudly showed off my tan the next day (without a smell!!). I've been going to different places for *years*- I remember the days when those Mystic Tan booths were the best we could do (ugh). Things have come a long way since then, but - trust me - no current option comes anywhere CLOSE to the awesomeness that is Aglow. The most important factor for me is a natural look. Like I said, I do this mid-winter and I'm fair-skinned. Kara and her fellow geniuses at Aglow have helped me to figure out the exact right way to get that healthy, subtle tint without anyone stopping in their tracks to say "Whoa, did you just come back from vacation?!" The formulation is perfect - no hint of orange, just looks like an actual tan (a light one, in my case). They can customize to whatever you want, and take the time to figure it out. The Rapid Tan is great - rinse off in 2-3 hours instead of worrying about messing it up or leaving fake tan everywhere you go. I'm also pretty shy, so stripping down in front of a stranger with a (spray) gun can be very intimidating. The staff at Aglow is warm and friendly, which puts you at ease, but also super efficient. They know what they are doing and get you in and out within 15 minutes, tops. As a busy working mom, that is super important and appreciated. The online scheduling also makes everything super easy. The owner, Kara, is one of the nicest human beings I've had the pleasure of meeting. I cannot recommend this place enough. Go - treat yourself! You won't be sorry.
