great way to keep in shape. Keeps me committed to my workouts and motivates me to live a healthier lifestyle

This review is long overdue, but I've been going to Pure Barre for about a year now 4x per month and absolutely love it! It's honestly a pretty humbling workout, and harder than it looks, plus the instructors are very big on ensuring correct form which I appreciate. The staff is always so welcoming, friendly and they go above and beyond for member appreciation, with things like coffee, goodie bags, giveaways etc. and those little things do not go unnoticed! My two favorite classes are Define which focuses more on strength and align for more recovery, but they're all great. The music is always so fun too! My only wish is that they had a 7 or 7:30 am weekday class, because that would work best with my schedule. Hopefully someday! read more

I've been taking barre classes for over 6 months now and just switched to Pure Barre Tustin recently. The experience with the staff and overall environment has been wonderful so far. The studio is always clean and the floors and equipment are new and upgraded recently. They always have a variety of formats and many class times throughout the day. I also appreciate the instructors and staff going the extra mile to make me feel recognized so far by adding my previous studio's class count to their system. :) read more

Always encouraging, Always Helpful and Always a Challenge! I've been attending PureBarre for almost 2 years and although sometimes it's hard to get to the class, I am always grateful I made the time to go. It's a habit I'm glad I made. read more

Absolutely loved the workouts here. It's hard to hear the instructor in the fast paced class but once you go to their technique seminar you're good! read more

I've been going to PB Tustin for years and it not only has tightened and toned me, but it's been fantastic for injury prevention and flexibility since I also love to run and have a desk job. The instructors are really amazing, and the community feel and environment is encouraging and inviting. Love being part of it and I really believe in this workout! read more

Had the absolute best experience here. Katie is so knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be back.

I've been doing Pure Barre for many years--starting back when I lived in Michigan--and I've been a member at Pure Barre Tustin for about the past 5 years. This studio is truly something special. The instructors are incredible and consistently make every class feel motivating, welcoming, and challenging in the best way. A special shoutout to Katie and Ava--they create such a positive, supportive environment and clearly care so much about the community they've built. I was a regular for years but had to take about a year hiatus while I was postpartum, and coming back reminded me exactly why I love this studio so much. The team made the transition back feel so encouraging and supportive, and the workouts are still just as effective and empowering as ever. The studio itself is beautiful, clean, and always has such great energy. Every class leaves me feeling stronger, and it's honestly one of the highlights of my week. Highly recommend! read more

The classes are great. The instructors are fantastic. They have lots of cute stuff in the front and keep everything clean and upgraded. And a GREAT workout! read more

I took my first barre class about a month ago, not knowing what to expect. It was very intimidating, but I'm so glad I went! I read on the Pure Barre website about a 30 min intro class and figured that would be perfect. Apparently the Tustin studio doesn't offer that class so I signed up for Classic assuming that would be the right fit for a starter class. I almost died I made it through to the end, but I had no idea how hard it was going to be. I learned about the other styles and figured out Align was more my speed. It's perfect. I love the combination of strength and stretch it offers. The instructors are all great, but my favorites are Maili and Meghan. They are the only two that recognized I was new when I walked in the door and made an effort to learn my name right away. They are also the only two instructors that give both recognition and corrections to every single person in class. I really appreciate the attention without feeling singled out. The other instructors just walk around the room and praise the people they know, which is fine, but it makes me appreciate Maili and Meghan that much more for caring about everyone in the room. Overall, the classes are great and I highly recommend! read more

Pure Barre is a low-impact, full-body workout that burns. The teachers give individual personal attention making a difference on how effective the workout feels and injury prevention. I love how welcoming and supportive everyone is with no judgement. Share the love, share the energy. It's a great and safe place to workout. read more

Amazing staff and overall experience. If you can get into a class with Leah she is so fun and encouraging! Sam is also a sweetheart and has great energy! I was informed ClassPass was no longer going to be accepted but I still wanted to leave a review because my experience was genuinely so positive. Wish the passes worked with my budget! You should definitely check it out if you can! So much fun and a great low impact workout that's still effective! It was great intro back into fitness after having my baby! read more

Always a fantastic workout with the BEST instructors who truly care about everyone in the studio! It is an incredibly supportive vibe especially at my daily 5:30 am classes. Just the perfect way to start my day! read more

Highly recommend PB Tustin! Everyone on the team is knowledgeable, approachable, and encouraging! I love the different class formats and the instructors lead you through with clear directions, modifications, and suggestions. Each class is a total body workout leaving me feeling stronger and more flexible! Thanks, team! read more

I'm coming up on a year of going to Pure Barre Tustin, and I've had the best experiences here--especially with the instructors and their thoughtful modifications after I injured my wrist several months ago. The studio is clean, open, and inviting. One of my favorite things about this studio is that they rotate class formats (about monthly), so it's easy to try different options even if you can only work out at a specific time of day. My goal was to get in better shape for my wedding, and they absolutely delivered--with their high energy and constant encouragement to push myself, get lower, and hold each pose (shoutout Breanna, Maili, and Meghan). At the front desk, Julie has been so friendly and helpful since day one, always answering my questions and helping me pick out which grippy socks to reward myself with hehe. Thank you ladies for making this my favorite workout routine! read more

This studio is the best! I've been coming here for 4 years now. There is no judgement and it's "Pure" fun. I've definitely improved and toned my body over these years. The variety of workout types are amazing. The teachers are pros, "Barre" none! read more

Pure Barre Tustin - Barre Classes Near Me - Tustin, California

I love going to barre classes here. I'm so glad I found this studio. For years I've been doing Pilates, yoga, and weight training but I felt like I hit a plateau. Since joining Pure Barre Tustin, over the past year I've seen true increase in my core stability, balance, and strength. After starting out with the smallest membership of 4 classes per month, I quickly realized it would not be enough. So I upgraded to 8 classes/month. But even that wasn't enough so now I'm unlimited! Everyone is so kind and supportive. The teachers are so knowledgeable and I love it when they fix my form because it makes the move harder and i know I will improve faster. I haven't had any problems in getting into the classes I want. All the class forms offer something a little different, so I think it's important to do all of them to maximize their effects. I'm now the fittest I've ever been in my entire life thanks to Pure Barre Tustin! read more

This is a consistently friendly, warm, and supportive studio, with a variety of classes (empower gets you sweaty; define gives you beautiful arms) and time slots. The monthly unlimited makes it so reasonable and rates don't rise, helping us stay strong, aligned and healthy. So grateful they're there. When i miss a few days, my belly gets floppy and a hernia pops out, then my back aches n knees get wobbly. Fitness is so important and this is a well structured hour, accessible and embracing of all. read more

Amazing instructors, kind staff, and incredible classes! I had a great intro class here with Ava, which compelled me to sign up for a membership. I loved the first 10 challenge (10 classes in your first 30 days)! The instructors are terrific at correcting our form to maximize our workout. Although I had to move to a different city, Ava was very helpful with providing me the instructions I needed for cancellation. read more

From the ashes of EverBarre in Irvine, the owners worked out an agreement to transition EverBarre members over to Pure Barre Tustin. I had remaining classes from a previously purchased package and my credits were kindly transferred over with ample time before they expire. Covid Safety - Temperature taken upon entrance. Mask in lobby area. Limited capacity - 9 Students per class. Studio space clear measured and labelled. Work out equipment: mats, weights, ball, band pre-place at each work out station. Work station and equipment wiped down by students after the work out, and the studio double cleans after. I really like the studio space. Tall ceilings, very modern. The front lobby has fitness leggings, tanktops, socks, other PB merchandise, cubbies to put your things, a dressing room to change. The work out studio itself is in the center with a front mirror and a side mirror. In the back, they have additional work out equipment where you would typically grab your equipment for the day, before the pandemic. There is also a restroom in the back. FOR FIRST TIME STUDENTS to the studio!! Pure Barre has a strict dress code compared to other fitness studios. You will need to wear pants, leggings or capris... NO SHORTS! T-shirt or a tanktop. NO SPORTS BRA/mid drift showing. Closed toed socks required. I really hate wearing socks and I usually prefer open toed, so this was an annoying requirement for me. They will make you purchase Pure Barre socks or you cannot attend class. Pure Barre believes on keeping the heat in and keeping the body warm. Water and a towel is recommended. Also if you are new, I recommend a spot by the mirror so you can see what the instructor is doing. The format of the class is pretty restricted to the Pure Barre model. Class begins with a warm up, arm work, thighs at the barre, gluts, then ab work on the floor. Stretches occur in between. Pure Barre believes in small movement for the maximum amount of change. In just 50 minutes, you will feel that "burn" and enjoy a full body work out. I find this studio in particular to be very high tech. The instructors keep a remote in their hand to increase and decrease the volume of music to match the pace of the exercise. I just find that there were times where the music was louder than the sounds of their voices. The music selection is great, very high energy and upbeat. I have taken classes with the instructor and owner Christan and also with Ava. I enjoyed both of their classes! As someone who has experience at other barre studios, I still found myself struggling. I especially like their usage of equipment for a more intense work out. I truly felt like I worked harder in 50 minutes here than a longer amount of time elsewhere. With every up an inch, down an inch, pulse, tuck, I felt that burn!! I felt my body strengthening. Woo hoo!! The one MAJOR FLAW that prevents me from commitment to the studio is SCHEDULING. When I asked about their schedule a week in advance, they told me the schedule of the week is not released until Sunday at 4pm. I like planning my week out in advance so I think a reasonable amount of time to release your schedule is at least a week prior. I wanted to go to a Tuesday class due to my personal availability... so I went on their app on Sunday at 4:05pm AND I GET WAITLISTED!! How annoying!! If I purchase the unlimited membership, I would really feel like I couldn't get its' full value. I need AT LEAST one week prior for scheduling... And this is just a Pure Barre Tustin limitation because the app shows advance booking at other locations. Pricing: $25 - single class $69 - 4 classes auto bill monthly $129 - 8 classes auto bill monthly $159 - Unlimited monthly, 12 month contract $169 - Unlimited monthly, without contract With all of the franchised Pure Barre limitation on the work out attire and work out format, your membership and classes are not transferred between locations. Despite my complaints above, I actually really enjoyed my work out. Christan was super nice and sweet. I love the Beyond Yoga gear they have in their merchandise area. I just need to be honest about my full observations and feel obligated to point it out. Hopefully this will help others while searching for a fitness studio, and also useful to the business if they are striving for operational improvements. read more

Can't say enough good things About this place. The kindest staff and so supportive and work with your needs. I have torn acl and carpal tunnel in wrists extremely bad. They offer alternative workouts and customize it to each person. Super clean place which is obviously important. I originally thought it was more expensive but the more you buy the cheaper it is. I do 4 classes a month at $99 You can try for free first class, where sticky socks like Pilates socks read more

I took a class with Becca and she was very hard (in the best way possible!) I haven't done barre in over two years so it was definitely difficult in the beginning but everything slowly came back to me. Her class is very challenging and I felt so sore afterwards! She did a great job making sure I was always having the correct posture and a positive attitude. These small movements you do in barre sound easy but it is not! It's so great to work out these muscles I wouldn't have worked out if I was in a traditional gym. Highly recommend barre if you haven't tried it yet! read more

What a beautiful studio!!! I came here for their soft opening and it was great!! The studio is nice and spacious and they sell workout clothes.I noticed everyone was buying Barre socks ($15) to wear during their workout but if you don't have barre socks I noticed people were just wearing ordinary socks. The workout floor is carpeted so I guess you get a better grip with socks on. We got to use a small rubber ball, stretch bands, weights and a mat throughout the workout. I really enjoyed the workout!! It was very intense and I was sweating pretty good by the end of it. Some of the poses where very challenging but I think I did a pretty good job at keeping up. The instructor was amazing, she walked around and help guide people into the proper form, and was pretty good at setting the pace for each pose. The class made me feel very energized and pumped for more!!! I would definitely come back! read more

They got me! Love this studio barre. All the instructors here are so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The classes are fun and a good challenge. Definitely works on core and total body fitness. With summer starting, classes can get full easily so make sure you sign up ahead of time. Some things to consider, make sure if u can't make the class u call ahead of time or else they charge you for $10 penalty. If you want to just a feel and try it out first they have a free week trial for local residents. Really suggest doing this first so you really get a feel of the studio. Usually they have good new member intro month so take advantage of it My only gripe is that I wish they had Friday night classes and more weekend classes to offer. read more

Well run and clean studio with friendly instructors! The schedule offers good choices!

Let me start off by saying I was really nervous to take this class. I have no muscle strength and I was worried I couldn't keep up-- but thank god the staff here is fantastic and helped me every step of the way. Christan was at the front desk and she was so pleasant and friendly, she really eased my mind about taking my first class. I had brought a Groupon and the transaction was so easy! The instructor walked me through the key moves and throughout the class she would correct my poses and say 'good job!' Which really motivated me. I was shaking and it was a fantastic work out! I have 9 more and look forward to getting my butt kicked into shape! Thanks Tustin team, you guys made my anxieties about trying this class fade away:) read more

Pure Barre Tustin has been amazing. I started with a Groupon and ended up signing up on a membership. I haven't taken class yet with all the instructors because of my schedule but I've taken class with Alana, Jessica & Ava. I definitely recommend barre if you're looking for a low impact workout that really works you out. Everyone is really welcoming and always willing to help you out or answer any question you have. What I really like is that they are willing to adjust you during the workout to ensure that you are in the correct position. And even after class when I've asked if they can go over a move with me they are always more than willing! If you have ever wanted to try barre stop thinking about it and take your first class. I think you'll enjoy it more than you think!! read more

I purchased a GROUPON for this location and sadly my first time I obviously had no clue on what this was all about; they gave me brief introduction (3min) and I clearly wasn't at the rate of the class; the instructor ignored (the fact that I wasn't doing the positions incorrectly) at least come by and show me; for you are the instructor of the class you get paid to TEACH and correct those in class; this is why I did not go back and lost my whole groupon; how uncomfortable do you think I felt when I was LOST in almost all the movements presented in class; it being my first time- while others giggled and gave me that fufu face. read more

The staff here are super nice and really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. I really appreciated that! I went to two classes here. My issue was that the studio was super crowded and work done on the actual barre was minimal. Stretching was also pretty minimal, which is too bad, because that's something I've really enjoyed about other barre classes I've taken. Also, with so many people taking class, it was difficult to get feedback from the instructors on body positioning. The carpet also isn't very cushy, so my knees ended up being bruised after my second class. That's ultimately why I chose to try out other barre studios in the area. This felt more like a cardio class than a barre class to me. The reason I like barre classes is because I don't care for cardio classes. read more

AWESOME staff of very hospitable and nurturing women. I did the 30 day challenge and will be back for a 2nd month. If one has injuries, don't be scared, they can accommodate any of the moves so everyone feels comfortable. Give it a try! read more

I recently joined and am finding the classes very challenging; not having done any exercises, outside of walking, in a very long time! Their classes range from stretching, calisthenics, and muscle building; concentrating on form. At this time, I am taking only "beginner" classes and find them very challenging. I'd never work this hard at home! Teachers are enthusiastic and supportive.; so I am glad I signed up! read more

I've been doing Pure Barre for my main workout for the past year with other workouts in between and I've notice how much stronger I've become in my core. When I signed back up to PB after years off and on, I couldn't hold a plank, do a sit up or do a push up on my toes. I've recently added HIIT into my fitness, and I am sure PB made me stronger in my center so those other workouts have been easier on my body. Would highly recommended it for all levels of fitness especially since it is low impact and not hard on the body. read more

Great fitness Studio! The instructors are patient and knowledgeable, and the the studio is clean!

The staff is bubbly/Orange County friendly, and the studio is in a great location. Barre classes are fun, and I do recommend to anyone looking to get a stronger core and tone. Thinks to keep in mind: (1) it has happened a few times (twice) that I walked in and it smelled like b.o. so be forewarned that it might happen. I don't believe they have air conditioner or ventilation in the workout section. However, I assume I walked in right after one of the more intense classes and that is why it smelled. They do try to keep the mats and equipment sanitized by having you clean down your mat and equipment after each class. (2) They do have water bottles for purchase ($1.00 for a bottle of water). There is no water fountain or cooler to refill your own bottle. So consider bringing your own. (3) The instructor walks around to make sure that you are in proper position. Usually one of the other instructors/employees will be taking the class too, not sure why they don't help the instructor. (3) Without a contract the unlimited pass is $200 a month. I think with a one year commitment it goes down to $150. They have Groupon specials for people that have not been there....really good deal. The bummer is that it is very hard to get into a week-end morning class or evening class during the week (5:30 PM & 6:45 PM). The 8:30 AM, 9:45 AM, and 4:15 PM classes generally have space. They are starting to charge people that reserve but don't show up so maybe that will alleviate the problem. They do close the doors, so if you show up late you are out of luck, and you will be turned away. I think they might give a 5 minute grace period.....I'm sure it's to make the class more enjoyable since you probably don't want someone walking across to get their equipment. (4) They have one dressing room upfront where you can change. If the dressing room is occupied you can also use the restroom in the back of the studio. Many of the ladies come in their workout clothing. (5) There is plenty of parking. read more
