I love all the staff and teachers here, everyone is so supportive and kind. It makes me so motivated to go to class every morning :)

From the ashes of EverBarre in Irvine, the owners worked out an agreement to transition EverBarre members over to Pure Barre Tustin. I had remaining classes from a previously purchased package and my credits were kindly transferred over with ample time before they expire. Covid Safety - Temperature taken upon entrance. Mask in lobby area. Limited capacity - 9 Students per class. Studio space clear measured and labelled. Work out equipment: mats, weights, ball, band pre-place at each work out station. Work station and equipment wiped down by students after the work out, and the studio double cleans after. I really like the studio space. Tall ceilings, very modern. The front lobby has fitness leggings, tanktops, socks, other PB merchandise, cubbies to put your things, a dressing room to change. The work out studio itself is in the center with a front mirror and a side mirror. In the back, they have additional work out equipment where you would typically grab your equipment for the day, before the pandemic. There is also a restroom in the back. FOR FIRST TIME STUDENTS to the studio!! Pure Barre has a strict dress code compared to other fitness studios. You will need to wear pants, leggings or capris... NO SHORTS! T-shirt or a tanktop. NO SPORTS BRA/mid drift showing. Closed toed socks required. I really hate wearing socks and I usually prefer open toed, so this was an annoying requirement for me. They will make you purchase Pure Barre socks or you cannot attend class. Pure Barre believes on keeping the heat in and keeping the body warm. Water and a towel is recommended. Also if you are new, I recommend a spot by the mirror so you can see what the instructor is doing. The format of the class is pretty restricted to the Pure Barre model. Class begins with a warm up, arm work, thighs at the barre, gluts, then ab work on the floor. Stretches occur in between. Pure Barre believes in small movement for the maximum amount of change. In just 50 minutes, you will feel that "burn" and enjoy a full body work out. I find this studio in particular to be very high tech. The instructors keep a remote in their hand to increase and decrease the volume of music to match the pace of the exercise. I just find that there were times where the music was louder than the sounds of their voices. The music selection is great, very high energy and upbeat. I have taken classes with the instructor and owner Christan and also with Ava. I enjoyed both of their classes! As someone who has experience at other barre studios, I still found myself struggling. I especially like their usage of equipment for a more intense work out. I truly felt like I worked harder in 50 minutes here than a longer amount of time elsewhere. With every up an inch, down an inch, pulse, tuck, I felt that burn!! I felt my body strengthening. Woo hoo!! The one MAJOR FLAW that prevents me from commitment to the studio is SCHEDULING. When I asked about their schedule a week in advance, they told me the schedule of the week is not released until Sunday at 4pm. I like planning my week out in advance so I think a reasonable amount of time to release your schedule is at least a week prior. I wanted to go to a Tuesday class due to my personal availability... so I went on their app on Sunday at 4:05pm AND I GET WAITLISTED!! How annoying!! If I purchase the unlimited membership, I would really feel like I couldn't get its' full value. I need AT LEAST one week prior for scheduling... And this is just a Pure Barre Tustin limitation because the app shows advance booking at other locations. Pricing: $25 - single class $69 - 4 classes auto bill monthly $129 - 8 classes auto bill monthly $159 - Unlimited monthly, 12 month contract $169 - Unlimited monthly, without contract With all of the franchised Pure Barre limitation on the work out attire and work out format, your membership and classes are not transferred between locations. Despite my complaints above, I actually really enjoyed my work out. Christan was super nice and sweet. I love the Beyond Yoga gear they have in their merchandise area. I just need to be honest about my full observations and feel obligated to point it out. Hopefully this will help others while searching for a fitness studio, and also useful to the business if they are striving for operational improvements.

Afterwards, I was contacted about a $99 intro they were currently offering for 2 weeks of unlimited classes. There are many instructors here and I've taken classes with Miranda, Mia, Ashlyn, Gaby, and Camryn. All of the instructors have been excellent especially with newbies. They are all great at explaining each exercise clearly and working with you on your form if you need to make corrections. Each of these instructors have challenged me and made me feel welcome at the studio. I also liked that the studio owners weren't too pushy when trying to sell their memberships as I've been to other studios that were way too aggressive. One con about this location is that the parking lot is pretty small and you may not always get parking directly in front of the studio however, there is nearby street parking. Unethical Billing Practices & Disrespectful Treatment…read more Made the mistake of supporting this new business by purchasing a Founder's membership in June . Thought I was helping my fellow dance community grow. It turned into a very disappointing and stressful experience. "While some of the staff and instructors have been wonderful and hardworking, my experience with the ownership has been very different. The billing practices are not transparent, and when I asked for help canceling my membership, I was met with disrespect and threats of continued charges. This review is based solely on my customer experience with the owner's handling of policies -- not the team members who've been supporting and kind . The contract isn't visible not on the website , app or the sent e sigh email -- corporations refund, return policy isn't available . As it's a hidden contracts, membership cannot be frozen or canceled under any circumstances, even if you're severely injured or have to move away. That's the case for me . As was explained to the owner, Amanda . She will justify the continued charges every month in the guise of membership. Without reason besides she has your CC# I asked questions for cancellation . Amanda then mocked me - and I quote " Dude, that's not how it works, Honey. Have you ever had a gym membership before?" That level of disregard . Instead of professionalism or compassion, continued threatened to charge me every month , a FULL year ($1,125.00 ) for services I can't redeem or use or access, saying " "I will be charging in full then taking you to small claims court" All for 125$ monthly membership that cancelled in September. Please be cautious before signing up -- ask to see their billing in writing , ask questions read every detail and think twice before trusting their "membership" offers. It's disappointing to see a women-owned business turn its back on loyal members who supported their company from day one. We stood by through every early struggle -- tech issues, scheduling mix-ups, instructor cancellations, broken AC , and all the challenges with a point of sale going paperless and a new team . While the community and instructors showed patience and loyalty, the ownership left on lengthy holidays leaving the wellbeing of business in a new team . I was so excited I purchased their New Client Special that wasa 5 Pack of classes for $99. It was only valid for a month. I reserved the Aerial Silks class on a Tuesday evening. Per the usual new studio first visits, arrive a little early to sign their waiver. I arrived about 15 minutes early and there was no staff at the front. There was a bunch of unfilled and filled waivers. Red flags leaving their customer's private personal data laying around like that. I filled out a form but kept it with me until I can hand it to staff. It was a mess of girls rushing out from the prior class and girls rushing in for the next class. Total chaos. I put my things away in a cubby and stood around until some authority person came along. I prefer the studios where you get your own silk, but at this studio they will have you share silks with other students. They divided us into a group of beginners, and another side for the intermediate and advanced students. We started off with stretches. They are super elegant and stretched with grace here. Good form. Then when we began, the instructor would give us a few steps at a time to work on, then we would piece multiple steps together. When I asked the instructor if she can help me take photos she was too busy and told me to ask another student. I paid the studio, not random students who are strangers to me. It might have been fun with a friend but I did not enjoy going alone. Especially when there's stranger armpit sweat on the fabric. Not enjoyable at all. I actually walked out before the end of class cause I was so over it. I considered coming back to another class to use the sessions I pay for. However their class times are limited. Maybe only 2-3 classes after work, but some of those classes are advanced classes or classes I don't have an interest in. While deciding on my rating for this place... a 3 didn't seem like a good fit cause a 3 is average. If it was average I would have at least came back to use the classes I paid for. As someone who goes to a fitness studio for work outs 3-4 days a week, I literally just abandoned the package I paid for and went to another studio where I enjoyed my work outs. To each their own. This place provides niche classes not every studio offers. However the classes are limited and I don't enjoy sharing space with strangers.
