The Dungeon in Orange was such a cool vibe! The space is super clean and thoughtfully set up, and honestly just walking in got me excited for the workout ahead. Check-in at the front desk was quick and everyone was really pleasant. Since this was my first VersaClimber class, I was introduced to my instructor, who walked me through the machine and how class would go. That one-on-one intro made a big difference, she was patient, made me feel confident, and even gave me the option to wear shoes or socks (I went with socks). The class itself was intense but totally manageable. You can modify or take a break whenever you need to without feeling bad about it at all. 300 calories in 30 minutes, I can't complain! I'm extremely disappointed with how this was handled. You offer appointments through ClassPass, I purchased credits specifically to book this service, and I scheduled my day around the confirmed reservation. To then have my appointment canceled because priority is given to your direct members is both misleading and unprofessional. If appointments made through ClassPass are subject to being displaced by members, that should be clearly disclosed before customers purchase credits and book appointments. Otherwise, customers reasonably rely on those confirmed reservations when planning their schedules. Unfortunately, this experience has caused unnecessary disruption to my day, and I won't be returning. I hope you'll reconsider this policy or, at a minimum, make it transparent to future customers. I'll be reaching out to ClassPass to share my experience and ask them to review whether this business's booking practices are consistent with their partner expectations. I hope they take appropriate action based on their policies. read more

Getting back into a workout routine can be tough but taking the first step is always apart of the journey. This place is close to home and one of my old instructors from AKT teaches here so heard only good things about them. I did a Friday am trial class with Lauren at 9. I have only done lagaree once before and it was Years ago with YELP so safe to say I am a newbie and clueless in form. Lauren was nice enough but it was a standard class so I felt I had to ask a lot of questions and get clarification. I did ask her after why there are no beginner or intro classes as it would definitely be more beneficial for attendees and instructors. Oh well, not an option. I did like it enough so bought 3 classes for $65. Did not authorize any other charges and had no idea they kept my card on file. I booked a class and life happened and I couldn't show. I just thought, oh lost the class, oh well, but nope got charged a $20 no show fee as well. The only thing that was explained at purchase was the classes would expire in 30 days no otherwise information about no show or late fee. I dropped in for a VersaClimber workout with Dani and let me say... I've NEVER met a kinder, friendlier, more helpful, and more thoughtful instructor than Daniela! Since it was my first time, I arrived early, and Dani took the time to walk me through the machine and explain everything in detail. She made me feel completely comfortable and confident before we even started. Even though this location is a ~20 minute drive from me, I will definitely be back to take more classes with Dani. I hope they give her a raise or some kind of bonus because shes the kind of fitness instructor we all need!!! The versaclimber workout was great, engaged muscles all over and you can scale it depending on your fitness level. Best 30 mins of cardio I've ever done (and I typically HATE cardio). This studio offers lagree Pilates and versa climbing classes as well as a combo of the two. This studio is my first experience with lagree Pilates. It is definitely more challenging than regular Pilates and is the only studio in the area I could find that was at the rigor level I was looking for. The instructors are great and the team always friendly. A small class for the lagree so only 8 reformers, make sure you sign up ahead of time! My only qualm, and I'm not sure if it's intentional, is that there are no mirrors, which sometimes I wish we had so I could check my posture. Otherwise 10/10 recommend :) read more

I paid so much for the class and I arrived only 2 minutes late because there was a literal sinkhole blocking the street in front of my house. Unfortunately, you cannot book classes through Classpass. This causes confusion and disappointing to experience. At one point, I was able to book a class, but then they cancelled it without explanation. It was hard to reach out to them for a reason and they could not rectify their own error. Instead, they said they do not offer classes through Classpass, despite the fact that their business is listed on there. If you really want to support this studio, then you would have to book directly through their website. However, if you do come across any errors, then good luck getting in contact with them. read more

The actual studio space was definitely very social media-friendly. However the instructor was quite fast-paced even for me (I had done Pilates many times prior but never at Lagree), and the flow of one movement to the next was not a smooth transition at all. We were changing entire body positions in between intervals. I don't believe I would recommend this studio to anyone, parking is also extremely limited at this location. I've been coming to Lagree Dungeon for almost two years now, attending classes 5, sometimes 6 days a week. The owners are great, instructors are fantastic, the class times are mostly consistent, and the workouts have completely transformed my body. When I first started, I was slim but lacked muscle definition. Now, I'm lean, strong, and much more defined. When starting Lagree Fitness and VERSA it can be quite intimidating, the entire workout is centered around the megaformer and the versa climber and without proper guidance a 50-minute class can seem like two hours. This is where The Lagree Dungeon shines above all competitors. The overall culture of the studio is welcoming, supportive, and beautifully diverse from the clientele to the musical playlist. There is no doubt you won't be inspired by one of their top-teir instructors (Bianca, Sana, Diana, Jameison, Doc and Evelyn NEVER MISS). You can also be certain of being cued throughout the entirety of your workout with demo's by the instructors as well as visual verbal cues making the exercises easy to replicate. They also have infrared saunas that I use regularly after working out to help with the healing and rest of my muscle tissues that I definitely recommend you giving a try. It is definitely fast paced but you just gotta stick with which instructor you like. Personally, I like Doc for beginners but once you're used to the pace, I recommend to take Bianca (amazing taste in music especially for climbing). For more intensity, take Jonathan. Love this studio for its moody vibes. I personally love a dark lit room while working out. There are no mirrors so you really have to listen to the instructor's cues but that's ok since all the teachers are amazing and really encouraging! They do come around to fix your posture to make sure you're in good form :) They have new m3 machines (like the ones at Trims!) so that is a huge plus for me. Then supposedly was enrolled to a class today at "1pm" I have nothing in my account or inbox indicating this. Then they want to charge me a late cancellation fee? SCAM. There is no way to take your card information out of their system either so they can charge you whatever whenever. They had no problem taking my money but they can't figure out how to give it back. I will never step foot here. Customer service was nice, but this place is a scam. Don't enter your card information. *UPDATE one day later, the "owner" found this review "funny" on yelp. She is so friendly, encouraging, and her workout routines are my absolute favorite for strength building! Maya is the Endurance Queen! She always pushes me to do my best and I hit my highest numbers during her class because of her! Daniela is so sweet and such an attentive trainer. I love this studio! I tried Pilates for the first time without really knowing what I was getting into and found it to be a little too slow paced for me. A friend recommended Lagree instead and it was exactly what I was looking for - something with more intensity that draws a sweat out of me but is still low impact. The studio feels clean and has good air circulation. They play upbeat music and the room is dimmed during the session.
