THIS is who you need training you! In November I made the decision of wanting to run in a half marathon that was only a few months later in February. I am NOT a runner and had no idea where to start for training with such a short window of time. I contacted Filipe and he wrote me a training regime that was so detailed. It broke down everything I needed to do and WHY I needed to do it. How many times to run, how far, speed, ect. It made it so easy for me to have it mapped out so I didnt have to think about it and just do it. He would check in on me and would give me advice on how to change things up if my knee started bugging. If I did not have his guidance, I dont think I would have finished the race. This guy knows his stuff. Hes passionate about helping you reach your goals, and his encouraging guidance makes you know that you CAN reach that goal.

He's incredibly attentive during our sessions, correcting my form and pushing my goals each week. I'm a competitive person, and I thrive off challenges and raising the bar. I feel super comfortable with Braedon, knowing he will challenge me in a safe and supportive way. My goals with TWD have been to gain weight and gain muscle, and for the first time in my life I actually see and feel the results of my hard work. One of the many perks of working with a trainer is having someone to hold you accountable and help guide you with both the workouts and the nutrition. I've struggled with my own fitness journey throughout my life mostly because I travel so much for work, and I don't have a consistent schedule. Braedon works with me and my hectic schedule regardless if I'm home or on the road. If you're considering getting a personal trainer, I cannot recommend Train With Dave enough. The combination of in-person accountability, tracking my workouts and food in the app, and Dom's constant encouragement (yes, even texting me on weekends to remind me to stay on track!) has made all the difference. In about 5 months, I've lost 20 pounds and gained back muscle I'd been missing for years. As I get closer to 40, it was really important for me to rebuild strength for long-term health -- and Dom has helped me do exactly that. The 6 AM sessions are perfect for my schedule, and having others there training alongside me keeps me motivated. If you need structure, accountability, and results, this is the place to go.

That made reaching out to her to train me so much easier. I was feeling super low with myself and to say I was going through a rough time was an understatement. I've been working with Coach for a year and looking back, it's a complete 180 to who I was and what I was feeling in that moment. I didn't want to sulk in my misery and had to check myself about things that are realistically in my control and what I was striving to be. That's when I came to reach out to City. My back was so weak. I had pulled it and it had gave out so many times. Doing every day things would trigger a horrible pain (sciatic nerve pain) and I was so tired of feeling this way. Last time I had pulled my back was because I was trying to do RDLs with no knowledge of range of motion so I definitely knew I needed someone to teach me how not to get hurt. I feel so much more confident with myself and how I move. I've built amazing habits with my nutrition, range of motion and mindset. I'm capable of so much more than I've ever give myself credit for. With them help of City, I feel like I can go to any gym now and not feel intimidated to work out because the knowledge I have learned at Apex will always bleed into the rest of my life. He was incredibly patient and took the time to teach me proper form, explain the exercises, and build my confidence step by step. In just a short time, I went from not knowing what I was doing at all to being able to bench a barbell hip thrust, which is something I never imagined I'd be able to do. He made the gym feel approachable and motivating rather than overwhelming. If you're a beginner or someone who feels nervous about starting at the gym, I highly recommend Apex Performance training and Calvin! They're knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about your progress.

So profesional and friendly, he gives you all the motivation and support you'll need in your journey because trust me, it's hard. OMAR BUEZO is the best trainer in the OC before I started with Omar I went tru many trainers at gyms but never saw results and never felt like they actually cared about me seeing results. I started at Elite Fitness 2 months ago after YEARS of not exercising. I'd get winded going up more than a flight of stairs & struggled carrying 30lbs. I now feel better than I have in years. My first session I felt like I was going to die (or at least vomit) but by the second week I felt like I could get through the sessions and was getting a great workout. Coaches vary the exercises to work all different muscle groups, make sure my form is good. They can modify the exercises to any ability but still challenge me to push myself when I'd probably slack off. I know if I was working out at home I'd be repeating the same 4 exercises, not using enough weight, and probably quitting half way through. Both the coaches and the other members are great - it's a very welcoming, fun, and positive atmosphere. That definitely makes it easier to get there on those days I want to skip working out. I'd recommend Elite Fitness to people of any skill level. I never thought of myself as a "gym person," but I never thought a gym could actually be fun while still being effective.
