Nate is a amazing trainer. He knows exactly what he's talking about when speaking fitness. Very engaged with his clients as well. He'll be the the first to cheer you on when you do a PR. I've gone to other trainers in the past and are nothing compared to him. He won't cheat you or make you do some outrageous workouts. Very simple and straight to the point. When I first started training with him I was 106lbs and 4 months in I was 115lbs. I didn't think it was possible for me. If you are considering training with him, DO IT! You won't regret it. Definitely worth it.

The muscle I've built over the past five months while simultaneously decreasing my body fat by a bit.

I found Nate around six months ago; today, I feel like a new person. I came to Nate, having retired from collegiate cross country. I was experiencing pain when running long distances and barely had any strength on me. On the first consultation (which is free!) we talked about my goals and walked through a few exercises focusing solely on form. My goal was to build muscle and improve my strength. During that first session, Nate showcased how knowledgeable and cool of a guy he was. As we walked through each exercise, Nate made sure to focus on the quality of the reps. By the end of the consultation, I was shocked at how much of a difference I had already felt in the exercises I was performing due to the improvement of form. Today, I am feeling stronger than ever and running pain-free! I've built several pounds of muscle while lowering my body fat percentage by a bit! Coach Nate will push you to be a better version of yourself. You can ask him anything regarding training or nutrition, and he will share with you an abundance of his knowledge. Additionally, he is always updated with the latest research, reading, and learning more about fitness and health. Give Nate a try, you won't regret it!

Went from 190 something pounds to 176. Lost fat, gained muscle. Recommend training with Nate. Knowledgeable and overall a cool guy

    Day one of training

Where do I even start. I joined with Nate about 6 months ago now, and as of today I feel like a new man. Day one we talked closely about my personal goals and what I was going for( I said I wanted to look like a Greek god by the time our contract was up)He was very easy to talk to and was able to give me a realistic idea of what we could accomplish, and I was all over it. He's one of the few coaches out there that isn't here for the money, he aims for quality coaching! So many coaches and trainers strive for the amount they make a month and Nate could care less, he truly wants to change lives. Everyday we trained was literally me being educated on something, there was never a day that wasn't a learning experience. That's what your paying for. Quality coaching because 99% of you aren't training the proper most efficient and effective way for your body. Nate is a guru in this field and had only top tier mentors to train him over the years. We train hard and he ALWAYS holds me accountable. On days I was too sleepy to come in he'd still hound me to come in and hold me accountable which was something I didn't appreciate until down the line. Me and Nate became more than just a trainer and client, I consider him a good friend, and I hope our friendship lasts, not only is he a excellent trainer and the best trainer at whatever gym he's at, but he's someone to talk and rant to while you push that weight! He's honestly a coach all around, life advice, training, anything you can think of. I've never felt so healthy and fit in my life. Our contract was only for 6 months and my initial goal was to jumpstart my fitness journey and then utilize that training to go on and do my own thing but you simply can't get any better and for that I plan on continuing. It's quality only with Nate! My results speak for themselves and if your looking for a trainer I simply won't recommend anyone else. Whether you wanna get buff, or your a female trying to get a nice booty, or someone just starting out, he caters to everyone! A very versatile trainer for the quality you receive. I'd also like to add that he's very modestly priced. Each package is different but for me it all worked out perfect, im 22 years old with my own pile of bills and rent and was still able to affordably have him, if I can do it, so can you. I can't thank him enough

Before and after (3 month transformation)

This review is for coach Nate, and what can I say, he really taught me a lot about working out and how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. I started training with coach Nate in April of 2023, and after 3 months, my physique looked 10x better. I came in not knowing how to do exercises properly, had elbow pain from a dislocation years back, and did not know how to eat healthy and gain weight. Coach Nate told me exactly what to eat and what I needed to do to gain muscle mass. In 3 months, I gained over 8-10 pounds with Nate, and I felt stronger than compared to day 1. Coach Nate also helped me resolve my elbow issue by incorporating exercises to help with the elbow pain and help build strength in my injured elbow. Fast forward to now, and I have gained about 20 pounds while training with coach Nate. In April of 2023, I weighed 150 pounds, and now, in March of 2024, I am 173 pounds. Coach Nate has helped me exceed expectations I never thought I could reach. I came in looking very skinny and tall and not knowing how to put on weight and do exercises correctly. Coach Nate has helped me hit PRs on my deadlifts, squats, and bench presses. I started only being able to deadlift 100 pounds, and my PR now is 225 pounds. Coach Nate has helped me hit my fitness goals and made me love working out, and I can't thank him enough. Everyone needs to train with coach Nate; he will get you right and in shape

I had gone to physical therapy, but doing the same repetitive muscle strengthening exercises became boring and I soon lost motivation to commit to my physical therapy 'homework'. With running out of the question, my lack of cardio exercise had a negative impact on my mental health. When my ankle was feeling better months later, I pushed myself too hard on a long distance hike, seriously irritating the injury. I was so frustrated. I was limping at work again. This year, I decided to take my injury seriously and to start strengthening my ankle. I went through a few personal trainers and immediately, Glayol stood out. Training with her feels like physical therapy on steroids. In our sessions, she uses her knowledge of sports medical rehabilitation and physical therapy to create a personalized program that is focused on injury prevention. She constantly evolves the cohesive program, increasing the intensity and changing up the exercises, so every session and every week is new and challenging while still working on developing targeted muscle groups. Glayol also knows how to push you beyond what you think are your limits. When the going gets tough, Glayol knows that "you've got 10 more reps in you!" Beyond her endless qualifications, Glayol personally cares about her clients. She goes out of her way to check in and see how you're doing. Glayol keeps me constantly motivated, something I hadn't felt in my physical therapy experience. In the past, I was daunted by the machines--sure, there's diagrams and instructions on the side, but I never knew if I had the right form. Was I arching my back? Was I over-extending? Was I engaging a muscle I shouldn't be? What's a good weight for me? How many repetitions should I do? I had so many questions and I felt overwhelmed. All I wanted to do was get out of the gym and go on a run. Glayol took all the guesswork and intimidation out of the gym. With her diligent work on my personalized program, I walk into the gym with confidence, knowing exactly what machines and equipment I need and how many sets and reps to complete. I know what muscles I'm targeting and what the right form is. Most importantly, I know I'm strengthening the muscles around my ankle and I'm healing my injury while still receiving a full-body workout that gets my heart rate up. I am so grateful for my personal trainer! If it wasn't for her, I would still be going to the gym once or twice a month rather than 3-4 times a week!

It decreased my motivation to start a workout and even when I did workout, I was finding it hard to push myself to get a satisfying workout. These workouts not only pushed me to my limits but also left me feeling challenged and accomplished. Overall, I highly recommend Filipe as a personal trainer. It is set to 81°.. the worst part is the stagnant air. There is a fan on each side of this gym, 2 fans. They say we're suppose to sweat when we work out but why should I have to breathe warm stagnant air while I'm working out. There is no air movement. If you like to breathe hot stagnant air when you work out, join this gym, otherwise I would go somewhere else. Edit: Since my review I have been verbally assaulted by the owner AND the training director John Tagge. I believe this to be unprofessional and I have since quit the gym. I would have left a long time ago but I prepaid until December 2026.. The owner was upset about the honest review and basically said he's not going to be changing much because the electric bill is $4000.. he has put in 2 fans since my review. The training director, (John Tagge) has been harassing me Everytime he sees me at the gym to remove the review. I have seen him get into verbal screaming arguments with more than just myself. He likes to joke around with people but people cannot do the same , he takes it "personal" . If you go there he's the old bald guy. Watch out . Now that I'm gone , I'm going to give a full honest review of the gym. If you look at any of my other reviews they're honest personally experiences I've had and this will be no different . First off I want to say that there are good things about the gym. PROS: It is never busy. If you want to go in and get your workout done?? You won't have to wait like the bigger gyms. They have a woman named Jeannie. If it weren't for her the gym would have probably closed down by now. She is in charge of wellness. She had the owners dedicate a few rooms to wellness. Red Light bed Infrared sauna PMf mat and compression pants There is also another room but I'm not sure what they do in there. Jeannie has coordinated monthly events and she has most recently added a big room for Pilates. Every room she is involved in is clean. I want to think Jeannie keeps it sanitized herself , and they just looks great.( pictures to follow) There are some awesome trainers as well: Felipe who was my personal trainer is the best trainer I have ever worked with . He pays attention to your needs and he he can really work around injuries . He's great . Pascual is another trainer and although I don't have any personal training experience I do see that he has regular clients come in and they seem to be happy.. Rosemary is awesome. She also has her set of repeat clients for years. I believe she has trained the new owners wife for years before they acquired the gym. I speak to her clients regularly and they all seem to be extremely happy . CONS: The gym is dirty , as far as I have been there I have known it to be sanitized once.. They do have a member that comes in every morning and takes the trash out, wipes the restrooms down and vacuums the gym. I never see ANYONE sanitize the gym other than members who wipe down the machines and not everybody does that. The equipment is old . I looked up some of it and it's all roughly 14yrs old. Any new equipment is no name Chinese brand and if you touch it once the controls fall out and it's just cheap. Most all of the pull down ropes are frayed or falling apart, the handles are dirty and they keep rewrapping the pull bars instead of buying anything new. The roof leaks . It has been leaking since before the new owner acquired it. When it rains there is literally puddles and buckets all over the gym. I understand they don't own the building but with roof leaks, it gets insulation wet in areas that you cannot see. With the air conditioning set to 81° it gets very humid, which is a breeding ground for mildew , black mold and whatever else we can't see , and we breathe it. There are 3 different types of free weights and if you're anything like me I'm super OCD. Finding the same weights while stacking can be frustrating . If you're still reading this review it means you're concerned and you care where you decide to workout and breathe fresh air. The gym is $75 a month and it includes nothing but what I've mentioned. All of the wellness rooms ,(ie. sauna, red light, PMf mat, compression ) ARE NOT INCLUDED. I hope this helps sway your decision one way or another
