Before reaching out to coach Nathan, my fitness background was that I had never stepped foot into a gym before and only had done bodyweight exercises prior. I also have a short Achilles tendon, which slightly limited my ankle movements. This review is for coach Nate, and what can I say, he really taught me a lot about working out and how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. I started training with coach Nate in April of 2023, and after 3 months, my physique looked 10x better. I came in not knowing how to do exercises properly, had elbow pain from a dislocation years back, and did not know how to eat healthy and gain weight. Coach Nate told me exactly what to eat and what I needed to do to gain muscle mass. In 3 months, I gained over 8-10 pounds with Nate, and I felt stronger than compared to day 1. Coach Nate also helped me resolve my elbow issue by incorporating exercises to help with the elbow pain and help build strength in my injured elbow. Prior to training with Nate, I had a really toxic relationship with the gym by lifting 6x/week on a PPL split, and I was not getting the results that I wanted. My relationship with fitness at the time was so bad that I didn't have a social life because I was spending nearly all of my time in the gym. When I met Nate at the consultation, he told me from the jump everything that was wrong, including lack of recovery and not eating enough, so he put me on a 3x/week full body program and had me double my calories. I came to Nate looking for w good trainer to help me reach my goals. I have been going to the gym for 3 years now and I have lost weight but still didn't get the results I was looking for. I had worked with Nate back in late October to late January following a nasty mountain biking accident in which I had hurt my left shoulder. At my worst I couldn't even carry my hydro flask with my left arm. Nate was very careful with me, but also pushed me to to get stronger within reason. He'd make sure that we always primed my shoulder before exercises. By the end of my time with Nate I was actually able to bench more than I was doing before the initial lockdown back in March of 2020. Nate is a great coach, not only did he help me get stronger but made sure I understood the mechanics of the exercises we were doing. He also helped me with my relationship with food, constantly reminding me and encouraging me to eat more food in order to grow. This in turn also helped me with my confidence to the point where I would take off my shirt in the gym, something I honestly never thought I'd really do.
