Had an amazing arms and abs session with Lollia! She's very attentive and kind offering modifications or a more challenging additional movement if needed. She's such a hands on intentional instructor which is hard to come by since Pilates has gotten a lot more popular. Lollia was also encouraging and supportive as she walked by which gives you a little confidence boost to keep going. I don't think a lot of people realize it's extremely helpful in the moments when you want to stop. Studio is very clean with plenty of reformers. They have a little coffee machine as well. 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to be back! read more

The music is amazing, the energy is always high, and every instructor aligns with the same standard. That is truly rare. At other studios, the experience shifts depending on who is teaching. I was welcomed by two friendly office staff at the front. They had plenty of large sized cubicles to the left to place our belongings. There is a bathroom, water refill station, and hot chocolate in the back. The studio itself is large and spacious. I did notice some hairs on the ground but nothing too crazy. I personally like the loud music so I won't feel too self-conscious if I'm like breathing too hard or something. My instructor was Kendra and she was nice to check in with me during and after the class after I told her about my knee condition. I thought the exercises in the chair were really interesting and fun to do. I will definitely book a class with her again. Parking: easy and plenty in the lot read more

The studio is new, spacious, and there is plenty of parking (which is always a relief). The instructors are friendly and the classes are difficult (in a good way). Took Full Body x Burn, with Tiffany. Parking: Tons of it! Easy to find, but the windows are tinted so tbh wasn't sure if they were open. Once inside was greeted and assisted. The lobby is def a 3/4 wall connecting into the studio. Experience: To be honest, this was my first time using the reformer in a class setting. There was a good amount of walk through but it was over whelming slightly. I wish there would have been name introduction, but at least I got asked if I had any injuries. Most of my workouts are rhythmic so finding the "flow" to fast or too slow was definitely a challenge for me. There was music and I did receive a few hands on corrections. It did leave me feeling a burn, but I wish there was more. Price: MAN Pilates is expensive HAHA but truly it was a bit pricey but I feel like this modality does run high. Overall has a great time, but didn't feel extra special for the price point or service. read more

Took a class with Alex today and she was great, always correcting form. I love that as a beginner in pilates! But hot damn, that class was so hard, it was amazing. The chair was very interesting and it's crazy how many ways you can use that thing. The tower with the reformer was also nice and everything was so nice and clean. The set up is great and love the mirrors all around the classroom. It was so helpful. Definitely interested in coming back since it's close to me and the parking is plentiful. The instructor, Lollia, went around, introduced herself, and checked on every person before the session started to see if we had any discomfort or injuries she should be aware of. My only concern was with the front desk, they did seem a bit closed off or almost as I was bothering them for checking in. I really like this studio. It's clean, big, the lighting and of course the instructors. I haven't tried everyone yet but my top go-to are Angie, Parisa, and Lollia. I feel like they push us to the point where we do feel the burn and I want to be sore after taking their classes. I'm sad I don't see Winter on there anymore or that they don't have cups for us to use their coffee machine hence minus the 1 star. First ever pilates class, instead of taking the intro class, I went straight to A$$ & ABS with Sarah and wow, it really kicked my glutes! Located in a shopping plaza, you can easily find parking. I was greeted by two staff members who were very nice and welcoming. There's open front cubbies for your stuff if you'd like to leave anything there, but I took my keys and phone and checked it under the reformer with my shoes. The studio itself is really cool, loved the vibes here. Reformer worked great, no issues there. I love that they offer a coffee vending machine, so you can get yourself a little pick me up before or after class. I felt very engaged the entire time and Sarah was definitely keeping me in check. She helped with my form and never once did I feel judged or didn't belong. Also this is the first group class I've ever taken where they ask if you have any injuries, so I thought that was a nice attentive detail. This was my first time at Studio X in Orange (I've been to the Costa Mesa location before) and as expected the vibes did not disappoint. Everything was spotless, calm, and beautifully designed. It was also my first time using the tower and I loved it such a fun new challenge that still felt beginner friendly. Sophia was incredible she's so attentive and truly cares about her students. She gave thoughtful form corrections. The complimentary coffee vending machine after class? Obsessed. I never thought I'd love Pilates as much as I do but Studio X has turned it into a little obsession. I've tried out a few other studios as a beginner and I feel like Studio X feels much more elevated. The aesthetic is chíc as hell and there is a coffee vending machine! The studio is huge with a ton of reformers. I've only taken classes from Mel, Angie, Tiffany, and Serene and they've all been so great. Although some moves are tough, I can appreciate that there's always modifications and you can go at your own pace. The other studios I've done locally just don't compare! I find that I miss it when I don't to. read more

I recently visited Studio X in Orange and had a fantastic experience. Having moved to the area recently, I was looking for a new Pilates home and this is definitely it. The location is great and parking was a breeze. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by two friendly staff members who were incredibly helpful, asking all the right questions to make sure I was prepped for my session. I took the Reformer/Chair combo class, and since I hadn't used the chair before, both the front desk and my instructor, Mel, went out of their way to ensure I was set up correctly. Mel was an amazing instructor--her cues were clear, and she was very attentive, circulating the room to provide form adjustments. She even gave that extra push to make sure we were really squeezing the ball! I love an instructor who focuses on form and challenges you to work harder. One of the nicest Pilates studios I have been to. It's always clean and the girls are so so sweet to work with. They're all about feeling good about what you are doing and offer lots of modifications for you to find the perfect workout for your body. I also love a dark room with the soft lighting. Really wanted to love this studio. The location itself is beautiful, which is the only saving grace of this location. Overall, I found the staff to be non-inviting. I attended class here on two occasions, and each time, both instructors only spoke to the clients who they knew by name. I found it very strange that an instructor wouldn't check in with new clients prior to class to check in about injuries, whether they are open to hands-on modification, or to just introduce themselves to say hi. Additionally, my reformer station also wasn't properly set up. Somehow my box was across the room tucked away in a corner. Compared to other studios I have had amazing experiences at, this was an overall off-putting, unprofessional and non-inviting. If I was new to Pilates overall, this experience might have made me feel intimidated to return. Additionally, the volume of the music during class was unnecessarily loud. It became hard to hear the instructor at times. Again, if I didn't already know the basics of the moves they were trying to set up, I would have felt way more lost and confused than I already felt. The workout itself was okay. I signed up for the ass class both sessions I attended. After my first class, I felt a good burn the next day. After my second, I felt nothing during and after session. I guess it's just a toss-up of whether you'll get a good experience or not. Overall, this studio feels very non-inviting, the volume of the music completely hinders proper teaching and demonstration during session, and the actual work-out is a hit or miss. This feels like just a trendy studio that doesn't seem to have a real mission or a passion for ensuring a great Pilates experience for their customers. I won't be returning and would encourage people to explore one of the other Pilates studios in the area. read more

The customer service at this studio is awful. Half the time they don't answer the phone and if you email them they take 3-5 business days to respond. I've been part of multiple fitness studios and have never seen anyone else take that long to reply. The staff here is not very friendly. The instructors are very nice though. I signed up for an a$$ class once, the instructor ended up doing a reformer level 1 class and at the end I told her the app said it was supposed to be an a$$ class and she just said "oops oh well". I specifically signed up for that class for a reason. Anyways, I cancelled my membership. There are much better pilates studios in OC. read more
