I had my first class a few weeks ago and signed up for more but unfortunately l sustained an injury and had to discontinue. I called multiple times to cancel my membership which they eventually did. However, no refund was processed. I cannot say the number of times l have called and been told the manager will get back to me or that she's been sent a text and will get back to me. I did not use up any of the classes so why is it so easy to process a cancellation but not process a refund? Or even tell me why l won't be refunded. No contracts were signed so l don't understand what the issue is. They are very sweet when trying to sell it to you but that's where the buck ends. Not recommending. read more

I have attended my first class. I never knew I could get such a workout from such small movements. I've done kickboxing for a few years now. I like Pure Barre more. I feel so empowered by going to these classes. They are so attentive and encouraging. I can't wait to see what my results will be in 10 sessions. read more

They are all so welcoming. All of the teachers are so encouraging and meet you where you are at and help you to work forward from there. Extremely disappointed in the management of this location. The owner is also the owner of the Allen location as a FYI. After a fundamentals class I took for which the instructor and the cashier new my current health situation (major organ removed 8 weeks ago) I thought I would try and see if I could start working out slowly again. For those of you that don't know, Barre fundamentals (intro into Barre) is NO joke especially after a surgery of ANY kind. I was excited to use a coupon I received from them for 14 classes for 14 dollars... I have to interject here it was my fault for not reading every single word of the fine print of which did not say I had to use the 14 classes within 3 months. I was charged $196.00, $14 for EACH class. Any other time, when back to normal I would have no problem with, great deal! However when I attempted to contact Pure Barre the 3 separate times to include 2 emails in order to get someone that could actually make any decisions cancel this transaction I was hearing crickets. When they finally contacted via email at 9:35 at night in an email reply, they would not work with me AT all nor did the manager call me as the staff said they would. Instead I received in that email it stated basically I signed a contract and it was all listed in there.. that of which you don't receive a copy or even a copy of your card receipt. Their system doesn't offer that option. Instead you are to receive an email which I didn't get. I'm not giving them a 1 Star because the class or business is bad I'm giving the one star due to how this situation was handled. If I would have received a prompt phone call or prompt PROFESSIONAL email I would have given it a better rating. TeUnfortunate as I was looking to eventually go back to this location when I was fully recovered. UPDATE: the studio has worked with me after a few more emails. I was refunded and will definitely go back to this location as the workout is great (when I'm ready). Recommendation- assure you read the computer screen before signing anything no matter how many people are waiting behind you. READ all the regular and fine print. This work is great as it works your ENTIRE body in 60 mins! Be prepared!! Thank you to the studio for working with me! read more

Pure Barre McKinney & Allen are both great! I have been using my month unlimited and love going to the classes. If you start to shake--embrace it! You know you're getting a good workout. Most instructors are pretty good about correcting your form, but ask questions and ask for modifications. My lower back started to bother me due to different exercises and wrong form. Finally asking someone to watch my form helped. Bring your sticky socks and if you're new try and stick to the back--easier to watch others and know what you're suppose to do! read more

I can't get enough of this place. It is truly my happy place. I am completely addicted going 3-4 times a week. I have seen unimaginable changes in my body, mind, self confidence and self esteem. It is a total body workout unlike you have ever seen or experienced. All low impact. The staff is amazing and so encouraging and supportive and always happy to help from the first timer to the lifetimers and will push those lifetimers if they see they aren't living up to their full potential which I love. I have been caught not giving my all and I love that they want to continue to challenge you. There are also goals and challenges throughout the year that keep you trying and reaching for that higher Barre. I am a proud member of the 100 club and very close to achieving and joining the 250 club after the first of the year (just a year and half after joining). Finally Pure Barre is not easy BUT is for everyone. All ages, shapes, sizes women AND men. So come join us you won't regret lifting toning and burning to a better you. read more
