Not all instructors are created equal. There are not levels at Session. Beginners are in the same…read moreclass as advanced students. Some instructors do not give appropriate ques for mixed groups. I was injured during my 7th class with an instructor I had never had (Melissa) when a spring load was too heavy and I injured my hip. The instructor was not in the room and there was only one other student as the time. I stopped the movement and sat on the reformer for a few minutes as I was in extreme pain and could not get up. The instructor did not acknowledge that I was just sitting there once she reentered. I decided I could not finish the class due to my injury. The instructor still did not acknowledge me as I limped to the front. I informed the front desk that I was injured in a move that I had not done before and the spring load was way too heavy. I was not offered ice or anything. I did not receive a call from the instructor once the class was finished and did not receive a call from the studio the next day. I reported the injury to session within 24 hours and did not receive a response within the 24 hour of notification. I will not be continuing classes after this experience. Be aware if you are not have in depth knowledge of a reformer this is probably not the studio for you as you could be injured during class and the instructor and studio will not acknowledge it.

In the past year, I've seen quite a difference in my body from taking lagree as well as being disciplined in my nutrition. A lot is to thank from lagree in helping tone and lean out muscles. The studio is very clean and has great amenities from filtered water, towels, cold towels for after class, a shower, and lockers. They have a cute apparel shop that's affordable and a smoothie bar for a treat after class.

The decor was super chic as well, and it felt so lovely to be there. I took the Reformer class with Gabby, and I really enjoyed the entire class. I typically take megaformer classes, but Bodybar was a fun way to switch it up. While I found it to be a little bit easier than a megaformer class, it was still a challenging and fun class that consistently burned out my muscles. I especially loved the lunge-lift move that made it feel like I was flying. :) I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town!

It seems most classes have a virtual option too. Met the owner when I arrived. She was really nice and showed me around. There are several studios and lockers for your belongings. The studio we were in for the class was really chill. Not what I expected. The lighting was dim with blue and yellow tones. I didn't feel as nervous after entering the room and not feeling fully on display. The Nia class was 30 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will most likely look at the calendar and pick some other classes here and there. I notice they do Pilates, yoga and things like that too. Lots of options!

I love the class and Alisa's coaching style. (Alisa is very knowledgeable in her field and always ready to answer questions about exercises, groups of mussels that should be used, and after-class habits such as proper food diet to feel healthy and full of energy.) I feel very safe during workouts and have much fun between exercises. It is always super clean in the room and on the Pilates machines. Also, there is always cold water in the fridge for after class, small lockers for phones and small items (such as jewelry and wallet, for example), and cute little things that are easy to forget on the way to class (hair bands, socks, etc.).
