Brand new location that opened up recently. The studio is super clean and sleek and all the machines are brand new. I took a noon class with Dani and she was super helpful and encouraging during the class. She provides you with modifications if you need them as well as opportunities to challenge yourself, should you want a more intense workout. Although you don't leave class breathless and dripping in sweat, you can still burn up to 600 calories since your body will continue to burn calories after the workout and throughout the day. I was pretty sore all over the next day! Elizabeth, the owner, was super welcoming and friendly. Love that they opened up a studio near me in Plano. The facility is always so clean and everyone who goes are very welcoming. Trainer Cindy and Margaret are very encouraging to beginner students, like myself. If the Plano location isn't close, they have all these different locations around and knew ones popping up. The owner is very nice and you can see her passion. Studio 6 (park lane location) is the first pilates studio I visited and got me hooked ever since. I've been to three locations, including Park Lane, Plano and Lakewood. I have to say that I like the layout of park lane the most, since it's just one row of machines instead of two so it's easier to check your forms on the mirror. Nevertheless, I like the plano location. Staff and instructors are very nice, self check-in is easy, plenty of amenities and a cute little shop at the front. They have sales items quite often as well, you can find heavily discounted Alo leggings here (think 40-50% off). Now to the class itself, lagree method is intense so be prepared to burn. But you also get SO MUCH BETTER at it if you keep coming. I find myself so much stronger and have way better balance. I could not let go the balance bar at my first few classes and now I never need them anymore. If you are thinking about taking a class, I highly recommend Kerry, Ana and Brittany. Kerry is the head instructor and she is HARD. If you love challenges you'll love her class. Ana also teaches at Equinox and she is very good at explaining moves and motivating. I also love Brittany as she is very nice and welcoming and will remember you for the next class. If you are new just let the instructors know and they can teach you how to modify each move. Price is also more reasonable at this place than at other studios, as you can always find cheaper classes on Classpass and they will send you discounted packages here and there. Hands down, one of the best workout ever! I grew up as an athlete, majored in kinesiology, was a personal trainer, and nothing strengthens and toned and quickly and deeply as the megaformer. The Plano location is gorgeous, and the trainers and staff and the nicest people. My first class was with Ana, and she walked me through every new position, all while pushing the other people to their max. Wednesday nights and so good with Dani, too! I love taking classes here, all the locations are great, but this is so convenient and the regular instructors are so great! It is the newest location of the three, and the biggest. It's always clean and the staff is always friendly. The owner is so sweet and all of the instructors will challenge you without injury! I love the low impact that this workout gives, but I still leave burning 500-700 calories. They are also great about beginners and getting you comfortable with the machines and workout, you will definitely feel it for the next couple of days! read more

This is my favorite megaformer pilates studio in DFW so far. Tom Edgar's classes are the best. If it's your first time ever (like it was mine), Tom does a great job teaching first timers and making them feel comfortable. The MegaLite class is the best one to start out with if you're a beginner. Modifications are taught, so you can choose between difficulty levels. You'll definitely always feel challenged regardless of your experience and fitness level. Tom's classes keep me coming back! The studio itself is always clean, providers towels, and has a shop area in the front that sells some cute workout gear. Tip: Bring grip socks (available on Amazon if you don't know where to buy them), though they let me mine during my first class (and may lend you yours during your first time, too, if you ask). read more

i have been going to Studio 6 fitness for 2 years now and could not be happier with my experience. Out of town guests will join me for class next week so I googled to send them link of studio and classes. I noticed this Lagree studio was not at the top of the list. Why not?! Oh my, they are terrific!!! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, clean beds and immaculate studios. They have 4 locations in Dallas. They offer a variety of classes and training. The studios even have a few clothes, logo sweats, candles, grip socks and hair ties. All the things you may need and left at home. I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff - each and every one of them. They are upbeat, positive, energetic, knowledgeable and willing to spend a little extra time assisting you or answering questions. I will often ask about a position or exercise we are doing to be sure my body is positioned correctly. They do not mind staying after class to assist you. Private lessons also available. I can't say enough about how glad I am to have Studio 6 Fitness in Plano. The studio is the biggest and nicest of the many Pilates studios I've been to in the DFW Metroplex, Houston, Newport Beach, and Miami Beach. The 2-sofa seating area in the lobby is a nice feature because it allows clients and/or instructors to visit before/after classes. I noticed that this has created a great sense of community. Their 50-minute Lagree workout on the Megaformer machines is the best workout to sculpt your body and burn lots of calories. It's truly addictive (in a good way) because I go every day if I'm in town. It's also a family affair because my husband goes with me regularly, and our daughter and son do as well. The workouts are great because the instructors are just simply top notch. Studio 6 takes training for their trainers very seriously, and it's reflected in the consistently good workouts that the trainers deliver. Studio 6 has the right people in charge of the training program because Cindy and Kerry are simply awesome. There are few trainers I would drive to their Dallas studios to take classes from, but I'd gladly do that for Cindy and Kerry. They each have their own style, but every Studio 6 instructor I've had at their Plano and 2 Dallas locations has been great and friendly. Last but not least, Studio 6 is an outstanding place because the owner, Elizabeth, is very involved and present in not just the business side but also as an instructor, and she engages with clients to get their opinions or just talk. Studio 6 Fitness is the BEST mega-reformer Pilates studio in town! Each instructor is extremely knowledgeable about the practice and for new students will be a huge help on starting out. Each instructor also is very different so you do not feel like you are taking the same class each time you attend. But then I gave it one more try, actually spoke to the owner, Elizabeth and she was kind of rude to be honest. Like she brushed me off and said she was really busy. I discovered Studio 6 Fitness about a year and a half ago and it changed my life! Every single one of the instructors are top class, and the front desk people are very friendly and knowledgeable also! I have become so much stronger taking just 2 classes a week. Everyone at Studio 6 is on the same journey for optimum health and they are all super supportive! I love the variety that the different instructors bring to their classes. I take the 'lite' class but the only factor that makes it 'lite' is the transition time between sets. Definitely screwed myself by trying solidcore first. Studio 6 has really nice teachers, but it feels like a senior citizen yoga class. Very quiet music, 2000's pop, nothing modern. Very bright lights, so you're just looking at the clock a lot. I will say the full body workouts are VERY leg heavy, so your legs will look great but the teachers usually only reserve the last two minutes of class for arms. I am used to solidcore-Black lights, loud modern music, soul cycle status. But for the Plano area studio 6 is your best option! read more
