If you like structure and consistency in your yoga classes, then you'll like Gaia. I first…read morediscovered them on ClassPass, but I stopped doing CP and going to Gaia directly. My favorite class is Still Water (yin yoga) which is focused on holding single poses for a longer duration. I also like the other two beginner classes, Gentle Waves and Dessert, although I honestly can't discern between the two. Classes typically start with a warm up of some kind (core work in the normal classes) followed by a short 5 minute group discussion. I'll admit the first time I can to Gaia this part was WEIRD. But it has grown on me, I like hearing the "good news" from other people in the class - it gives a sense of community. They also do a short spiritual on the yamas & niyamas. It's nothing weird, I often do find that the instructors give me something new to consider. That's followed by another 40mins or so of practice. During the final minutes of practice, the instructor massages your shoulders and neck with an energizing lotion. I'll admit that I find it a little gross, but I still enjoy it. I mostly feel bad for the instructors. Other things I like: early morning practices, yoga mats and blocks available, room is kept warm (not hot!), and easy parking. My only gripe is that practices don't always end on time. Combine that with having to arrive early (late yogis have to shamefully tap on the glass to get the instructor to let them in!), a one hour yoga class can quickly turn into a 2 hour affair. I've been loving my at-home practice but when I need something more I'll still be coming here and nowhere else.

The instructors are all wonderful. Jenny recently added Pilates and I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoy the classes. I've always been hesitant to try Pilates, I don't fit the physical description of what you see depicted in most studio advertisements. But I am 100% comfortable doing Pilates at Rescue Yoga. The classes are small so you really get 1:1 attention if you need it. And the instructors are accommodating if you have an injury or sensitive area you need to protect. They offer a wide variety of yoga classes and special events. I highly recommend you give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

They are a lot more challenging. Then she started Pilates classes. I am absolutely obsessed with Pilates! I didn't really start seriously exercising until about 5 years ago when some friends talked me into trying the Stretch classes at the Senior Center. The Senior Center expanded to a core class and then Chair Yoga. Then mat Yoga. I was reluctant to try mat yoga but got brave and did. No more chair yoga. I might mention that I was 72 when I started and at 77 I am more fit than I have EVER been. I really thank Jenny and her team for that. I have lost 25 lbs in 2 years and have muscle rather than flab now. I would encourage anyone who wants to get into shape to try Rescue Yoga! I still go to classes at the Senior Center as well as classes at Rescue Yoga.

The Pilates class was so hard but I loved the burn. Classes are 30-45 min, or 15 min for hiit workouts. the area was very very clean and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Clean bathrooms, and there is also a small gym with free weights and a single shower. The saunas fit 3 to a room but I got lucky and it was just me. The best part is that there are classes every 15 minutes or every 30-45 minutes and they're 24 hours!! Perfect for my crazy schedule. Thanks again Madeline!

His staff took my account off freeze and I was billed 2 months unknowingly ( after checking my account ). I asked if I could be refunded or use those paid months on new months ( because I didn't use the services as I wasn't aware they took my account off freeze ) and he immediately cut me off to say no. Then I asked if they could confirm my cards I had on file and again, cut me off to say no... when they are my cards... lol Horrible experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. If you like having sketchy contracts or franchise owners, this is your place.

Not gonna lie, I struggled in the last 20 minutes of the class but when we were given a cold, essential oil-infused towel at the end, I felt like it made it all worth it. I appreciated that throughout the whole session we were told different modifications we could do and I felt very at ease. The facility itself is right next to a great coffee shop I worked at before the class and the parking lot has plenty of parking spots. Inside there were showers, lockers to put away personal items, and all the yoga essentials like mats, towels, and yoga blocks. Also went to my first sound bath and it was great - the owner was very sweet and really cares about each person that comes to the studio. Highly recommend checking out a class and/or sound bath!
