They no longer offer evening (6:30), late evening (8:00) classes, or advanced flow classes. If you work, it is economical to use class pass than to become a monthly member. The instruction is different too. 6 years ago, the teachers used to explain/demonstrate the pose, make corrections, and describe what to work on; I've tried several teachers, and now, they just call out the pose. Some knew I'm (was) a returnee: still, so distant, so aloof every time. Also, the cue, "If it's in your practice, do an inversion", or praising a student on his beautiful jump back. OK. Is anyone interested in helping us make these part of our practice? The studio is still beautiful and spacious. And I am eternally grateful to the wonderful teachers who taught me the fundamentals so well. Time to move on.

The Pilates class was so hard but I loved the burn. Classes are 30-45 min, or 15 min for hiit workouts. the area was very very clean and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Clean bathrooms, and there is also a small gym with free weights and a single shower. The saunas fit 3 to a room but I got lucky and it was just me. The best part is that there are classes every 15 minutes or every 30-45 minutes and they're 24 hours!! Perfect for my crazy schedule. Thanks again Madeline!

Then I asked if they could confirm my cards I had on file and again, cut me off to say no... when they are my cards... lol Horrible experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. I loved the welcoming environment from all of the staff members and instructors, plus those who I had a chance to interact with in class. I was injured during my 7th class with an instructor I had never had (Melissa) when a spring load was too heavy and I injured my hip. The instructor was not in the room and there was only one other student as the time. I stopped the movement and sat on the reformer for a few minutes as I was in extreme pain and could not get up. The instructor did not acknowledge that I was just sitting there once she reentered. I decided I could not finish the class due to my injury. The instructor still did not acknowledge me as I limped to the front. I informed the front desk that I was injured in a move that I had not done before and the spring load was way too heavy. I was not offered ice or anything. I did not receive a call from the instructor once the class was finished and did not receive a call from the studio the next day. I reported the injury to session within 24 hours and did not receive a response within the 24 hour of notification. I will not be continuing classes after this experience. Be aware if you are not have in depth knowledge of a reformer this is probably not the studio for you as you could be injured during class and the instructor and studio will not acknowledge it.

They are a lot more challenging. Then she started Pilates classes. I am absolutely obsessed with Pilates! I didn't really start seriously exercising until about 5 years ago when some friends talked me into trying the Stretch classes at the Senior Center. The Senior Center expanded to a core class and then Chair Yoga. Then mat Yoga. I was reluctant to try mat yoga but got brave and did. No more chair yoga. I might mention that I was 72 when I started and at 77 I am more fit than I have EVER been. I really thank Jenny and her team for that. I have lost 25 lbs in 2 years and have muscle rather than flab now. I would encourage anyone who wants to get into shape to try Rescue Yoga!
