I tried the signature class and enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by the staff at the front desk who then gave me a quick tour of the facility which is small, mainly the studio, some lockers and a clean bathroom. After grabbing some weights and equipment for the class, I got started. I liked the blend of yoga, bar and aerobic exercises, and more tension-based exercises with the core. Keeps things more interesting with the variety of movements. I had a substitute instructor who was overall great and very encouraging. She really pushed us because she would often count down for some exercises which would make me think we would be done after that, but then she would lead us right into another exercise using the same muscles so you wouldn't get a break! Overall a great opportunity to be challenged with a full body workout! I would definitely go back if price wasn't a barrier for me personally. Membership prices range from $90/month for 4 classes a month to $160/month (unlimited classes. read more

I love coming to the the Barre Code Plano and have been a member since 2015. The owner Julie really cares about each member and the instructors always know what to say to motivate us to keep going. I've made so many new friendships and let's be honest.. it's hard to make new friends as an adult. It's my place of choice to go to relieve stress, to focus on getting stronger and to just breathe. I would say the biggest impact it's had on my life is I was able to work out during and after my two pregnancies. I simply modified each move to make it possible for my body. I'm still learning to listen to my body but I've made so much progress thanks to the Barre code Plano! -Debbie Wei read more

Love this studio, very friendly and have great classes. Always clean with good cleaning protocols for Covid and social distance measures. I had some unpleasant experience a few years ago due to I was late for class. Julie nicely resolved it read more

Buyer beware. Just take a look before signing on because while it says you don't have a contract, really you do have an initial 2 month contract due to their 30 day cancellation policy. Owner says it stated that in cart but I didn't see it and I always look for those caveats. Not to say anything about the workout but their cancellation policy absolutely doesn't take a new client into account. Just warning others! read more

Amazing workout!! Challenging and you can feel the burn! Place is aesthetically pleasing and lots of pink that pops! The staff are professional, welcoming, and energetic! They have everything you need from a dressing room, to lockers, to a vanity mirror area! I'm a former athlete, very active, and have a husband who is a trainer. I've done pilates, barre, ballet, HIIT, boot camps, and weightlifting. I LOVE the Barre Code workout. It's an all in one that'll have you de-stressed, looking good, healthy, and enjoying your workout! - (new member- RSD) read more

I tried out a free Barre class here today and it was amazingly excruciating. My muscles were shaking throughout the entire workout. I love how they have 4 different intervals that workout your abs, upper body, legs, and butt. The instructor also told me that they have a kickboxing class, more of a dance class, and another one that I can't recall..but I will highly consider buying a membership here! The staff and instructor were really friendly and nice. They have a beauty bar for all your emergency needs (I always tend to forget a hair tie). The studio is clean and they also have a variety of workout gear. Today we used ankle weights and 2-3 lb weights. I saw a bunch of other material that I'm not familiar with, but I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!! read more

Adorable interior, LOVE the branding that's all throughout. The Barre Code offers a wide variety of classes to fit your fitness needs. There are free lockers to store your stuff, a vanity area, changing rooms, etc. They also sell super cute workout tanks too! I took a class this morning and loved it! It was very challenging for me (I have a 7 month old and have not worked out in almost almost a year) but I didn't die. ;) I mean, i WANTED to, but afterwards I felt amazing! Instructor Alisha has great energy and pushes you further! The class was filled with people of all fitness levels, which makes it less intimidating. I honestly can't wait to try more classes! If you're looking to change up your fitness routine and like group excercise, give it ay try! read more

I tried a few barre classes at a different DFW barre studio and felt intimidated and somewhat unwelcome. I was worried I would get the same feeling when I tried The Barre Code Plano, but I could not have been more wrong. The instructors are so incredibly welcoming and energetic, which is much needed when I go at 6 a.m.! There are women of all fitness levels in class and everyone has been kind. The workouts are very challenging and you can choose from more cardio-oriented (Brawl) or strength training-focused classes (Barre Code, total body, etc.). There are new routines every other week so it never feels repetitive and the instructors alternate between using different equipment like bands, discs, body bars, free weights, etc. I am so glad I found this barre studio and I highly recommend it for barre beginners to experts! read more

Let me just tell you that I was a little skeptical of Barre Code workouts before I tried them out. So last week, I decided to try a few Barre Code classes and their Barre-dio class (think cardio dance with some Barre Code mixed in) to see what the hype is all about... Now I get it because these classes kicked my butt! I've worked out for several years and thought I would be able to get through these classes no problem... boy was I wrong. Julie, the owner, was an awesome instructor and so was Kristen. I highly suggest you take one of their classes. They are so motivating and really push you to do your best. I cant wait to try some of their other classes out! If you're looking to try out a new workout or interested in amping up your current workout routine, definitely give this studio a try!! read more

The Barre Code was my third studio to try out in the neighborhood and after going to the other two studios I knew that each one is different. The studio and branding is so cute. The teachers and owner Julie are so nice and welcoming. There are lockers to store your gear, a vanity area and some cute clothes and socks to buy too!. At this studio there are several different props to use and each time we grab something different to use throughout the class. I have never taken workout classes before but I love coming here. Julie and Alisha are fantastic high energy trainers and the classes are challenging fun and you will feel lots of new muscles you didn't know you had!! The Barre Code Plano is now my studio and I just love it! read more

I don't even know where to begin! This studio is so AMAZING on so many levels! Julie, the owner, knows how to run an incredible business! Not only is she incredibly friendly and welcoming to all, but she is one FIERCE instructor! I am never disappointed after taking one of her classes! All of the instructors at the studio are incredible! You won't be disappointed with any of them! In my opinion, the best part about this studio is the family-like community Julie created. I've made so many friends at the studio and love going almost every day to not only get my butt kicked, but to also chat and catch up with all my friends! I also all the challenges the studio offers throughout the year! It's such a great way to get in shape! Because this studio has such a variety of classes, you will never get bored! Barre code truly is the best total body workout!!! ***Update: I've been a member at The Barre Code Plano now for 3 years and this place just keeps getting better!! I can't express how amazing this workout is!! I promise you'll be hooked once you try it!!! read more

The Barre Code, while an amazing workout, is more than just a workout studio. What makes the Barre Code Plano so special is that it is a community of women that empower and encourage each other and themselves. First, the classes. There are four main formats: their signature Barre Code, Brawl, Total Body Conditioning ("TBC"), and BarRestore. Barre Code and BarRestore are low impact (not to be confused with easy) classes that focus on isometric holds and building strength. They're great if you have injuries and the instructors will also help you with any adjustments; just let them know in advance! My personal favorite class format is Brawl - a choreographed kickboxing- based class that is great for cardio, but allows you to maximize your calorie burn with a "strength recovery" section in the middle of your Brawl routine. The studio is also very clean and pristine - there are two bathrooms, two changing areas, and a beauty bar for you to freshen up at after if you need. Everything is always tidy and neat and the props and studio are frequently cleaned and sanitized. Every instructor at the barre is amazing. Every teacher is unique, but every one will encourage you and make the most out of your workout. From the CRAs that check you in, to the ladies at the barre next to you, the studio feels more like a community than just a place to work out. You will never regret going to a class at the Barre Code Plano, and you will never leave without feeling like you got a great workout and community either! read more

If you're looking for an intense workout without the usual cardio & weight lifting this is the place for you. The smaller, focused movements really burn out the muscles and focus on the problem areas! Every class is different so your body never gets used to the same movements, the music is great and the instructors are amazing. My one and only complaint is the schedule. There are two morning & two evening classes that work great for stay at home moms or those with flexible work schedules. read more

I have been a member of The Barre Code for over 2 years. I first joined the Design District location in Dallas. When I moved to the Plano area I was so excited they were opening a location close to my house. The studio's owner Julie is very friendly and a great instructor. I stuck with the program due to the ever changing material. Each week there is something new and challenging. This is definitely the best shape I've been in in a while, and I'm 5 months post-partum and almost back to my pre-pregnancy size. I definitely recommend trying out the classes and joining the monthly membership. It's totally worth it. read more

This is more then a studio it is a community. Everyone pushes me to do better and makes me feel empowered. This studio offers a variety of classes and formats that give you a full body workout, challenging new muscles and making you feel the burn in ways you never did before. Though I love every class TBC is my favorite a great blend of cardio and strength I never leave less then exhausted. This is the only workout I have ever stuck with and I can't imagine my life without it. If you haven't tried it you should!! read more

I started coming to the Barre Code when I was working from home in Plano during the holidays and felt the cabin fever creeping up. As a former dancer, I loved the balance of strength, cardio, and restoration in the workouts. Plus, the studio is gorgeous and all the girls that work there are super friendly and work hard to remember your name. When I moved back to Plano this year, I came back to TBC and it's been such a great way to meet people. This is a strong community of women dedicated to crushing their goals and I'm so inspired every time I come to the studio. read more

I have been a member of The Barre Code for many years now. I love the passion and energy I feel every time I walk into the studio, and my hope is that everyone who walks in feels that same fire. Thank you to The Barre Code for reminding me what I am worth!! read more

I tried Barre Code Plano for the first time last week and was blown away! I have used ClassPass for the last three years and this studio was the most welcoming I have visited in DFW (and that's a lot of studios!) Everyone I encountered was friendly and accommodating. The amenities are nice and the studio is clean! I will be back for another great workout with Caroline! read more

Really disappointed in the studio. I was caught up in traffic and arrived at 7:03. The door was locked and I could not get in. Most studios, even when I lived in Chicago, gives you a 5 min threshold. For instances like traffic. Plus it shows the studio is under staffed. Someone can't be at the desk for 5-10 min? Really disappointed. I have never had this issue at any Barre Codes in the Dallas area. And I am charged a missed class on class pass when I was there. Really disappointed in the studio, go to Highland Park the instructors are incredible and the studio is very welcoming... read more

I recently took two complimentary classes at Barre Code Plano and really enjoyed the rigor of the workout and the professionalism of the studio. The owner Julie is friendly and personable, and her class also rocked my socks off, literally! I plan to take advantage of the founding membership as it's a deal that can't be beat in the barre studio world. I look forward to getting to know this studio better and having access to efficient and challenging workouts. read more

I went to try Barre Code because of a good friend's recommendation. I did not know what to expect going into the work out but it was great!! The studio is super cute, the staff and trainers are so helpful and motivating. Our Instructor was Kristin, and she was great! If you get a chance to try this place out, try to get into one of her classes!! From what I have heard from regulars, they say ALL the classes are pretty great. You will definitely see results! I highly recommend the Barre Code for anyone looking to get fit! read more

Seriously, so much fun! I have never joined a gym or fitness boutique because I have always just tried to work out at home. The first day I took a class at Barre Code Plano, I realized that would change. Julie, the owner is friendly and a wonderful instructor. The studio is cozy, clean and bright. Every instructor really cares about their clients and works hard to challenge them. The fitness routines are a blast but very challenging. Do not give up! Let them push you and you will see and feel yourself get stronger. I am in the best shape of my life and love it! read more

I started coming to TBC Plano in summer of 2016 on ClassPass and quickly realized how great of a community the studio offers and ended up joining as a member in November 2016. The Barre Code offers a wide variety of classes from traditional barre to cardio kickboxing (my personal fav). The owner, instructors, and CRs are super supportive and truly encourage all clients to be the best version of themselves whatever your fitness level may be. They offer modifications for both fitness pros (try a star jack!) and those who are just starting their fitness journey (push ups at the barre). The studio is super body positive and owns the "find your strong" part of the TBC national mantra. I tried a lot of different boutique studios under ClassPass in (Far) North Dallas, and none live up to The Barre Code Plano. Now, TBCP is my home away from home. You'll never get bored with the different class types. Plus, each instructor has a different routine each week, so unless you see the same instructor for the same class type in the same week, you'll be able to shake things up every day. (Emphasis on the shake!) Class times are also really flexible. I'm an early morning girl but classes throughout the day are offered Monday to Sunday. They even add new classes to the schedule where there is time available (example: Brawl on Sundays at 5 now!). The new client options are also great if you're looking to try classes without immediately trying a membership. Look into the first class deal and the new member unlimited month! read more

Best workout I've ever experienced! I absolutely LOVE everything about this place! The instructors are amazing, the studio is beautiful, and the community of women is the best! Seriously, I have never enjoyed working out as much as I do now. The classes are super challenging, but it's so much fun! I started off being a little intimidated because I had heard barre was such a hard workout. It was worth getting over that and checking it out. I immediately signed up for more! read more

This is truly my happy place! From the moment I walked through the doors over a year ago, I fell in love with the amazing variety of class formats, incredible instructors, and the welcoming atmosphere. The community is amazing and there are always fun events to help you get to know other members! The workouts change every week and there is truly something for everyone here, whether you like strength training, cardio, or kickboxing! Every single instructor brings something special to the classes, each with their own strengths, and they are always willing to help with modifications or questions you might have during and after class! The best part is that EVERYBODY is welcome here, no matter your fitness level, age, or body type. If you're looking for a place to meet inspiring women and have fun, while also getting an amazing workout and learning to appreciate your inner strength and beauty, this is it! read more

I have been attending The Barre Code Plano for almost three years. As soon as I finished my first class, I signed up for new customer month - I was immediately all in thanks to the quality of the workout, the inspiring instructor, and the community of strong women. One of my favorite things about TBC Plano is that Julie (owner/master trainer) fosters a wonderful, supportive community. All the staff know your name, and all customers cheer each other on! With the variety of workouts offered (strength training/Barre, kickboxing/brawl, dance/Barredio, and HIIT/TBC and HIIT), everyone can find something that is fun and challenging! Instructors really care about you and want you to be your strongest self, which includes providing help with modifications for all skill levels. I have been to other Barre studios while traveling and have never felt the community or support, nor the inclusive and accessible challenging workout, that I have experienced at The Barre Code Plano. read more
