After grabbing some weights and equipment for the class, I got started. I liked the blend of yoga, bar and aerobic exercises, and more tension-based exercises with the core. Keeps things more interesting with the variety of movements. I had a substitute instructor who was overall great and very encouraging. She really pushed us because she would often count down for some exercises which would make me think we would be done after that, but then she would lead us right into another exercise using the same muscles so you wouldn't get a break! Overall a great opportunity to be challenged with a full body workout! I would definitely go back if price wasn't a barrier for me personally. Now they have different types of classes that vary in terms of postures and difficulty. The classes I attend are strict -- the same 26 postures every class for 90 minutes. But that's what I appreciate about it, I love consistency. I'm absolutely shredding the extra weight I gained during the pandemic and it's only taking 3-4 classes a week and good healthy eating! All of it was just uncomfortable for me. The room for me is too small. I'm 5 feet 11 and some of the workouts I cannot even do because no matter what angle I turned, I would be hitting somebody else. I did not feel that the instructor was beginner, friendly or engaging enough at all. I also had a hard time hearing the instructor on top of her telling us to do moves but not showing all of them..There's a lot of beginners in this class and majority of the room looked absolutely lost and confused and I just don't feel like she was interacting with people well enough or showing the workouts to where we can clearly understand and see. Half of the time I was really lost. Overall disappointed. When I left my first Pilates class I felt so comfortable, I felt seen and I absolutely enjoyed my experience. Everyone has different preferences, but this was just not it. I also felt like staff wasn't engaging enough for me either. Low energy. Overall not a good experience.

The studio we were in for the class was really chill. Not what I expected. The lighting was dim with blue and yellow tones. I didn't feel as nervous after entering the room and not feeling fully on display. The Nia class was 30 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will most likely look at the calendar and pick some other classes here and there. I notice they do Pilates, yoga and things like that too. Lots of options!

The classes are challenging, fun, and leave me feeling stronger and more confident. From day one I felt comfortable coming in, and I've met so many amazing people here. The studio attempted to charge me for an additional month after cancellation despite years of referrals and purchases. When I reached out, there was no willingness to reconsider. Even more concerning, the moment you voice a concern, your treatment noticeably changes! My "locked-in" rate was not honored and drastically went up even with a contract in place. I expected much better after years of loyalty for a pricey membership. This experience has made it clear the studio values revenue over long-term members.
