After the studio I was going to for 5+ years shut down, I was looking for a new studio to go to and finally found Honor Yoga after 3 years! I'm so glad I joined this studio, the teachers offer a variety of classes which I love and they provide very good cues for alignment which is really important to me! I love the meditation room and the cool events they offer! The studio is clean and very welcoming. I do wish they offered a few classes that were hot yoga or at least warm yoga - sometimes the studio is pretty chilly which makes it hard for my muscles to relax! I understand having that amount of heat in a studio can be costly but even if just one or two classes were heated that'd be soooo nice!! Otherwise I love this studio so far and I'm looking forward to taking many classes there read more

Very welcoming and nurturing experience. The yoga and aerial flow are so great for stretching out your body and getting that body opening. The instructors working there are great at what they do and I'm glad there's a yoga studio in this part of Plano. came here before for a yoga sesh for a bridesmaid party. its located in plano, and we wanted to do an aerial yoga session. they have one of the more reasonable price packages + were super accommodating. the instructor made sure to look at us all individually + provide feedback on how we could better execute the pose. she provided alternatives + waited while we struggled for our lives. aerial yoga is not a joke.... she helped do poses for us that were ideal for group photos that would make us look super cool. overall a wonderful place to come do yoga + i would recommend checking out their yoga beginner package which would let you do a bunch of classes in a certain time frame. they have complimentary tea + drinks in the front & we also left w some pumpkin spice lip balm. cannot recommend this studio enough. read more

I have just started their virtual livestream classes and have really grown to like them! I wish I lived closer to the studio, but the drive is just too far to make it work. I have set up a quiet place in my home and log on to Zoom a few minutes before the class, and BAM! Instant yoga session. The instructors are all quite good, some better than others, but all have quality sessions and work well with both in house and online students. When researching local studios, Honor really came out on top - I'm only interested in morning/daytime classes and they shine in this area. So many studios don't have a variety of offerings in the day, and reserve them for night when they can fill their studios. Honor has a great balance and I thank them for livestream - I'd love to see more morning YIN classes! read more

I've done regular and hot yoga for years but when I tried aerial yoga it blew my mind. Being about to be off the floor doing yoga poses and so fun and thrilling. It's a lot of upper body strength and core balancing. It's definitely going to be part of my workout routine going forward. Honor yoga and Cassandra was super accommodating and helpful. Very fun studio! I really like the aerial class, the stretch class REALLY stretches you out well, and my favorite is the barre yoga!! Aerial yoga has a lot of moves that are upside down so if you're intolerant to that (like me) it might not be for you. You can modify to an extent but you might find yourself a little bored. We wore regular tanks the first time and they made us borrow tee shirts as they are mandatory for class, but I went another time and people were in tank tops... so inconsistent and being a shirt with sleeves just in case! Stretch used a roller and a tension release ball the day I went and at points I wanted to cry with how deep it was getting, but that's just because I push myself that hard it felt amazing and you can choose the extent you want to go to in there with the instructors modifications. Barre yoga was by far my favorite--I loved this class as it was a full workout. You'll use bands, weights, yoga ball, etc depending on the day. I found it challenging but not a difficult challenge to maintain. I did get the *hottest* by far in this class and across all classes I found this studio to be rather stingy with their A/C. (It was not hot yoga or meant to be hot yoga to knowledge). Definitely bring a big water and one with a cap that screws shut to be safe (I did see some with straws but the signage says not to). Definitely worth checking out but it's a little far for me to maintain a membership. Hope to be able to do some drop ins in the future though! read more

I've been to 5 aerial yoga classes so far and have been able to try so many fun poses due to the attentiveness of the teachers and experienced students who are also very helpful/friendly. I was invited by a friend to try out the Aerial Yoga Class with Zoe Zeng and I enjoyed it so much. For someone who has never taken a yoga class before, I was not only able to get one of the best workouts I've had, but I was also able to feel a sense of peace throughout the workout. I've been taking classes here for 2 months, and it's been a great experience. My favorite class so far is aerial Roots with Megan. She made it easy to understand without intimidating to try all the tricks. If you're a first-timer, definitely take her class. I've only attended one class, but it is truly a community at Honor Yoga. I did a restorative yoga class along with someone who had traveled internationally. The class is great for someone who has been on an airplane for a significant amount of time. For me, the stretching and help from the instructor allowed me to get the most out of the class as possible. I can't wait to try the aerial classes. They look amazing! read more

This place is not very helpful with information when you request it. Plus they don't even have a phone number listed on Yelp. So I messaged them. They told me to text a phone number. So I did. I told them my wife wants more info. And then they said to call. Instead of just calling back like I asked them to, they want you to jump through hoops just to get info regarding hours, days, and pricing. It's no wonder they don't have any reviews. The one that they have is probably left by someone they know. Not recommending this place. Poor business practices. read more
