The classes are challenging, fun, and leave me feeling stronger and more confident. From day one I felt comfortable coming in, and I've met so many amazing people here. I highly recommend Pure Barre Plano and Pure Barre North Plano!! I searched for YEARS to find a workout I liked with instructors that are amazing. I finally found it when I walked through the doors 2 1/2 years ago at North Plano. You will not find a studio/instructors or GM that is more dedicated, enthusiastic, customer service oriented and passionate. The GM, Katie and her entire staff are strong examples of leaders and provide all clients the opportunity to grow and be challenged. ALL of the instructors are super friendly and encouraging. I always feel welcomed when I walk through the studio doors and leave feeling physically and mentally stronger. In addition, the different types of classes (Classic, Empower, Align (NEW) and Reform) allow you to get everything you could desire from a workout - toning, strengthening, and cardio. I have been going to Pure Barre for almost a year and it really is the greatest way to shape you body. Even when I am going really consistently (5+ days a week) I still somehow manage to feel a little sore somewhere on my body after every class. Now that's progress! I actually live in Colorado but I travel all over the country for work and when I'm on the road I still like to get my Pure Barre in, so I've been to almost 20 different studios. And I have to say, this is definitely one of the best Pure Barre studios I've ever been to. The staff is AMAZING! There were three instructors there who were all extremely friendly, and the class instructor took time to learn everyone's name before class started. During class, she gave great instruction and critique. They were not pretentious at all (I have been to the Southlake studio and honestly wasn't a fan of the all done up snobby housewives and lack of instruction from the teachers) and just had a great attitude all together. Love Pure Barre. Love this studio. Will definitely make a special drive next time I'm in the DFW area to stop by again. Great work girls! read more

There's something to be said about first impressions, and I have to say my first visit to Pure Barre far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door until the moment I left, everyone was so polite and helpful. I have to say the first class was a challenge-- not in discouraging way-- but in a way that makes me want to keep going to get better. The instructor, Sydney, was amazing! You can tell that she really enjoys the technique and helping others learn it as well. Even though I was terrible she never stopped helping and encouraging me. This place should be called Purre BUTT! I've never tucked, squeezed, pulsated, & rotated my tush & cheeks like this! Wowza!! First class on a Sunday....The owner was there, super friendly & super helpful! I enjoyed the "girly time" atmosphere (even though I'm new to Dallas) & went alone. There is no beginner class, but it's not that hard to follow. The instructor was helpful & VERY observant of...she kept coming to make corrections---this is a great thing!! Even though I started to dread it in hopes I was doing something right. Again...correction is a good thing!! Given the pace I feel there should be an Intro close once a week or month. This way the Instructor doesn't lose her count while assisting the newbies like me. Also, my grippy socks were too big so make sure to buy your size. I was sliding while trying to do planks. My knees started burning during the Plié sets, which is odd because I do them often at home....oh well. Still had a great time & the gear is super super cute! Like cuter than lulu IMHO. I kept visiting the location for clothes for over two years--I thought it was a boutique...no clue it was a Barre studio...now I know why it was always closed. Will def be returning even if its only to buy some clothes! read more

Love pure barre!!! Been a member of pure barre for almost 4 years, and I still struggle every class... but in a good way. They are constantly changing classes and adding new ones so you never get bored and always feel challenged. The newest class, Reform, is super challenging and uses resistance bands and sliders. I'm in love with this place now, I get a great workout every time I've gone, which has only been 3 times so far. I was blind walking into this and never done anything like it before. I normally workout 3-4 days at the gym, but never experienced this. The music is great, and the instructors are awesome. Donny fell embarrassed going in here, they will help you along the way, to make sure your form is correct. Certain exercises I wasn't sure if I was doing it correctly, and didn't feel anything, but I asked the teacher after class and she showed and told me the proper way. Ladies, you should definitely check this place out, and your first week is free. Your body will thank you for it. read more

Pure Barre Plano has transformed my outlook on working out. I love it now. I joined on a whim a year after having my daughter, and I am so thankful I did. The instructors make sure each of us are in the correct position and getting the most out of the workout. I have been going for about two weeks, and I already see a difference. Update: my 30-day package has expired and not only have I signed-up for another month, but I can see my abs now! Who knew?! I have more good things to say now that I have been going for a month. What a fun workout. Fun because the music and instructors make it go by fast AND because the hour is challenging and effective! I've only been going since late April and I can see the difference in my body. I can also feel the inner strength and mental strength. I love what Jennifer, an instructor said, when I told her I won all 3 of my tennis playoff matches due to Pure Barre. She said, "It's your secret weapon!" For Sure! With each class, a novice or someone very familiar with the workout, will get their challenge.
