I love this place! I am so glad I signed up for the free class back in March of last year. Rachel was my first instructor and while I felt nervous at first, she really helped me feel comfortable and reassured me that I did not need to be an expert to be at Pure Barre. The first class was very fun, and while I felt sore and sweaty from such a great workout, I did decide to sign up for an unlimited membership to keep it up. It was the best decision and I have more muscle and energy now that I have been doing these classes. All the instructors have been amazing and I have loved trying all the different classes. Whether you prefer "classic" which is perfect for a more traditional barre class, "empower" for a more cardio based workout, "define" to get nice sculpted arms and legs, to "align" for a nice yoga style relax vibe. Love love LOVE this place !! I haven't worked out in some time and wanted/needed a high intensity without the bouncing & with a good beat in my ear workout & I FOUND IT !!! The vibe is right, it is a clean environment ( the sanitize the bar after class) with all the tools required for the workout ( love that !!!!) Exciting to have a brand new location closer to me! I was hesitant to go to the other location in Carlsbad. Quite sometime ago, the owner was pressuring me so much to sign up after a class. I hated that and was so uncomfortable. The workouts can be so killer, but the movements are so basic and minimal! I wish I would've brought a towel since I was sweating! I also should have worn leggings, not shorts! There were a couple of positions when my knees were on the brand new carpet and that was uncomfortable. I am looking forward to more classes there! At the end of the class, someone did come in to talk to us about the membership promotion. She did say there was one person in there-me-who was not a member. She did say she wouldn't share who was not a member which was nice, but still a little annoying. read more

I am convinced this specific locations goal is to scam you out of money. I was convinced to buy a 3 month package and I decided to give it a go after one class. That was my understanding of what I was signing up for. However, after one month of desperately trying to fit my life into their VERY limited class schedule I realized it wasn't for me. I came in at month 3 and asked to cancel. I physically drove there to be respectful and express why I was so unsatisfied. They told me I then had to email. I had to send two emails to get a response and then they sent a very relieving email they would cancel me. When I read it deeper it then stated I had another 30 days of use and would be charged one more month. I very nicely explained they didn't have class schedules to meet my needs. Very few times for working adults to attend and the ones I could were 30 min intro classes which were a waste. Passively they declined to cancel me and will be charging me another month when I haven't been able to use their scheduling for two months already! If you go or sign up just know they have one super solid teacher and don't wear anything that your actual skin is going to touch their carpets. Very low budget facility but if it's your thing rock it out read more

I've been coming for about a month and I love it! Very easy to sign up and I love the different instructors. There are also fun themes like a Taylor Swift Playlist in honor of an instructor's birthday. I think there is a good mix of times available so you should be able to attend the class that works for your schedule. I was a little intimidated coming back to class after recovering from being injured. The foundations class was the perfect choice, and my teacher Kayla made modifications to some of the movements for me to accommodate my injury. This place will give you a great workout! Especially if you're looking for some intensity with a nice stretch at the end. I took a foundations class and the instructor (Kayla) was one of the best I've had. If the membership and drop in classes were more within budget I would sign up. Caitlyn was super nice and professional. Very helpful and patient with my continuous questions. I'd recommend this place to my friends if we weren't all college students with a budget lol.
