Club Pilates is a wonderful pilates studio to practice at. The equipment they offer are excellent with the reformer machine offering an extra push when working out. This machine helps target deeper muscles that regular exercising/gym equipment can't do. The inside is clean and has a restroom. The outside studio is breathtaking with fresh air. It's really refreshing and nice to work out outdoors. I really like all of the instructors I've tried here as all are equally great. Easily accessible in Carlsbad by the 5 & 78.

Club Pilates Carlsbad has been the highlight of my day ( always ) but especially now, during COVID. I am so impressed with how they have been operating during the pandemic. They setup the reformers outside, under an open air canopy. All of the reformers are setup 6-10 feet apart. They have a policy to wear masks until you are at your reformer, and then you may remove it. Everyone gets a temperature check upon entering, and hand sanitizer. You must clean your reformer after using it, after class. They sanitize each reformer multiple times through the day. They really have taken an extraordinary precaution, and are taking great care of keeping the members healthy and safe. I am so thankful for Club Pilates Carlsbad! Also, without COVID...in a normal situation....their studio is inside. It is clean and spacious. Taylor is always happy to great each member into the studio before class. There are so many equipment options. Besides the reformer, each student has their own Exo Chair, Pilates Ball, TRX and Spring Board to use. There are mats, handweights, gliders, blocks, weighted bars, and more for use during classes as well. Each class is about 50 minutes and is an incredible workout mixing strength core, flexibility and stretching. IT is a gentle and low impact workout, but is challenging and absolutely works to define muscles and tone, lean and lengthen your body. There are 3 levels of classes, offering options for beginners all the way to advanced students. The instructors go through a very extensive training, and are always able to help with adjustments, suggestions and modifications based on your personal ability or challenges. I have been a member of Club Pilates since 2011, and I am still learning new moves. I do not get bored, as it is a practice, that takes time to master to the full ability. I love it more and more as the years go on. It is truly a community at Club Pilates, and it feels like a family. A special Thank you to the owners Ari and Dan, who have kept us safe and healthy during the pandemic, and always!

Tyler did an amazing job setting this place up and he's hired some great people including Carti, Marrianna, Shira, and so many others that make this a wonderful place to visit during the week highly recommend it. This studio is intentionally designed to help you adapt, expand, and feel more alive. One of my favorite studio experiences so far. I genuinely did not want to leave! The Philosophy & First Impression: Before my first visit, I received a welcome video explaining the studio's philosophy: Using breath and hormetic stress (heat, cold, & movement) to grow stronger, healthier, and happier together. Their belief is simple & powerful, "When you take control of your breath, you take charge of your life." When I pulled into the parking lot, I could hear a man inside calling out, "Breathe in... let it go. Breathe in... let it go." (It seriously felt like the building was breathing.) The Space: I was warmly welcomed by staff who helped me check in, sign a waiver, and gave me a wristband and a full tour. The studio includes: a sauna; a cold plunge room; a yoga room; an AQUATru filtered water station; cubbies, dressing rooms, and a bathroom; and a lounge room with an educational video on their method The Class (Vinyasa Flow & Breath 90): The yoga room was arranged in a circular formation, so we faced one another, creating a shared presence & community. The class itself was an intermediate, heated power vinyasa with a smooth, steady breath-to-movement flow. Wendi cued in Sanskrit followed by English and layered in breath cues and gentle inward-turning suggestions in grounded poses. After a steady standing series, we moved into deep stretching and incredible twisting and detoxifying poses on the ground. The Breathwork Experience: After yoga, we were guided onto our backs with padded eye masks waiting for us. Wendi led us through three rounds of open-mouth inhales and exhales ("Breathe in, let it go"), followed by Mula Bandha and long-breath holds. During one of the holds, I received a neck and shoulder massage with peppermint oil, and I could feel the cooling, soothing effect immediately. The third round was the most powerful, with reminders that our bodies were fully oxygenated. After the final exhale, we were released into savasana. Wendi closed with a beautiful reflection about looking back on our day, our week, our month, our life and saying, "It was a wild and wonderful ride," which perfectly described the whole experience. The Teacher: Wendi was incredibly welcoming, thorough, and present. She took time one-on-one beforehand to explain and demonstrate the breathwork, which is essential for a sense of safety. After class, she stayed to connect personally and encouraged me to explore the sauna and cold plunge. She definitely holds a grounded, confident, and supportive container. The Sauna & Community Vibe: (I forgot a bathing suit for the cold plunge, but I spent time in the sauna.) It was a warm, social gathering space where the energy of the class naturally flowed in. People were connecting, chatting, and relaxing together. It felt like a communal ritual space. Overall Experience: This studio has so much to offer! The integration of breathwork, yoga, heat, cold, and education is genuinely thoughtful (not trendy). It was such a pleasure to experience Breathe Degrees. This is a must for any yoga enthusiast! Practical Note: First-timers must arrive 15 minutes early, no exceptions. This studio prioritizes safety and intentionality.

I've taken hot yoga classes before through Core Power, but I've never sweat like this in my LIFE. I was drenched, my clothes soaked through, it was quite hilarious actually. I could see sweat coming through individual pores all over my body. I think I took 8 different classes with 8 different teachers and each flow was nice! There are clearly lots of regulars that attend classes. Aerial Yoga isn't heated, and it was by far my favorite class. Maybe it was the novelty of it since I had never tried Aerial Yoga before, but nonetheless, I felt like a kid and was radiating a smile the entire time. Gayle was lovely. She even took some pictures of me in poses to share with my friends and family. I ended up having a private class since no one else showed up (yay me!!!). Parking available in the shopping center. Bathrooms & showers available inside. Filtered water available too- not cold, but you don't really care after you just sweated your entire body out. The staff & teachers were kind. Some made efforts to share modifications while others let people do their own thing. Some offered to do hands on adjustments (with consent), others just taught and gave praise.
