The studio is consistently clean and the staff is very welcoming. They seem to always be running a membership special

Love Yoga Six studio in Carlsbad. Great classes & teachers & staff!!! Especially love Charlie's hot classes.

Great place to learn, actual opportunities to experience yoga to increase knowledge. Love the multiple rooms read more

Love my Yoga Six. Convienient location, top notch teachers and super sweet community. Great variety of heated and non-heated classes.

I used to love this place, but today I arrived at 4:30pm sharp and the door was already closed and somebody saw me behind the door but didn't even try to help and open. This is not something that you look forward to Friday night after a long day reserving a yoga class to get your calm and peace back. read more

The best yoga studio in north county. The instructors are phenomenal! So professional and kind. Love my YOGASIX community!

I've been a member since 2022 and wow, the transformation is amazing. I love my body and I know one thing is true, a combination of sculpt for strength, hot for recovery and slow flow yoga for chill days is essential to my healthy lifestyle. read more

I moved to Carlsbad from the east coast within the past year, and I spent months trying out various yoga studios to find the best fit. YogaSix Carlsbad at the Forum was by far my favorite, and I signed up for an unlimited membership so that I could come all the time! They have such a great variety of classes- both heated and non-heated, Bootcamp and sculpt classes incorporating weights and cardio with yoga, as well as vinyasa, hot, power, restore, and slow flow. I really enjoy the mix of classes and all the options depending on your mood and the day. I love their classes so much that I recently signed up to do their Sculpt instructor training. The YogaSix instructors are all incredible- extremely knowledgeable, friendly, creative, welcoming. It is such a wonderful community. The manager Whitney and Program Director Cat are terrific, and are so good at what they do. I can't say enough positive things about this studio! If you haven't tried a class there, I highly recommend. read more

Love YogaSix! From the slow flow to hot classes and more - great teachers and friendly front staff.

I've been going to this location for the past six years and I finally quit going there. All I can say is to Please avoid Kristin Lovett classes. She's the most outrageous, disrespectful, racist instructor I ever seen in my life. Due to my ongoing medical condition I was unable to fully attend the class and I notified the staff in advance. I used to put my mat by the exit door so I don't disturb anyone when I leave early but she was giving me a hard time and then she was talking on my back to the other Yogi students, And I didn't know until a couple of them brought it to my attention. I still tried to be respectful and just do my workout and leave quietly but it got to the point that one time she talked to me like talking to a child and raised her voice and said I told you to follow my request OKAY!!!!! That was the last straw I brought it to the management and the owner of yoga six attention I was told by the owner and the management to take different class which is sad because they needed to have a serious conversation with their instructor, but instead they told me to take other classes so I stopped taking her classes and chose different classes. When I took a class on Monday afternoon as soon as she saw me, she walked into the class that wasn't for her to teach and she just gave me an attitude and I felt like oh she's going to teach this class so I'm leaving and I was shaking as I was leaving the class, then she came behind me laughed and she said she was joking. She has a such a childish character and her filthy mouth is known to everyone. Using F word for every movement screaming loud and angry and cursing the whole time of a session tells you enough about her personality. I had a horrible experience last year and this year and I finally quit and join equinox where I get treated very respectfully and professionally. If you're non-white, she barely wanna talk to you or greet you that's how ignorant and racist she is. read more

Yoga 6 is my favorite place for yoga! I've been to several of their locations and they're all so beautiful and clean! They take cleanliness seriously. Studio gyms, especially hot yoga studios are breeding grounds for germs! I always see an employee cleaning the studio floors and bathrooms which puts my mind at ease. Their staff is welcoming and friendly. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. Yoga 6 offers a variety of classes too. I love hot yoga, which helps me open up my hip joints and work on my core. The sculpt classes are great too because they incorporate weights and body weight training. I get a good workout when I'm here and always leave stronger and calmer. read more

Loved the hot yoga class here. It was such a mindful class where I got to get back into the practice and flow. It was doable with some challenge for me (as someone who does not practice yoga regularly). The class was packed so that was slightly uncomfortable with covid numbers rising again but once things are calmed down a bit, I am really excited to come back! read more

I had been attending this studio for several months and had always felt comfortable and safe until my wallet was stolen. The front doors are locked once class starts and we are instructed to leave our personal items in the cubbies by the front door or the women's locker room lockers. After class I went to get my wallet and it was gone. I notified the instructor who was unable to help, so he called the owner. The owner instructed me to call the sheriff and file a report and informed me that their cameras didn't work. This had to of happened after the doors were locked and with the class being session, makes me believe it could have been an inside job. I felt helpless and violated in the yoga community that I've loved for 16 years. I felt as if the studio didn't provide adequate security or piece of mind to their customers. Be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. read more

This is my fav north county Yoga Six location. In the La Costa Forum there is always plenty of parking. The reception area is welcoming (leave your shoes at the door!), and they have a well curated boutique. The locker room feels like a day spa with showers, always clean, and lockers that you can bring your own lock for. Two clean studio rooms with natural light and a mirrored front wall. Some classes really do fill up to capacity here though. I especially love their power sculpt classes. The instructors mix things up each time, so you don't get bored and you get a great work out. I sign up through Class Pass, but there are member-only perks like child care. Instructors are friendly and approachable. I appreciate adjustments and mindfulness (even in a sculpt class!) read more

YogaSix will never again receive my business. They recently sent the attached email to everyone in their contact list, boldly announcing that they will defy orders to suspend indoor services while our county suffers from the spread of covid-19. Not only is it reckless to continue business as though CDC recommendations don't matter and aren't real, but it's a slap in the face to those who have risked their lives fighting this virus, or lost their lives after contracting this virus. This sort of selfish and uninformed decision-making does not make me feel like I will be safe at yoga six when we eventually put COVID 19 behind us... which won't be for a long time because of people who think like this. read more

I'm SHOCKED with YogaSix!! Has anyone during lockdown been charged for classes they never attended and refused a refund? I never at any time reauthorized your organization to debit my account, as I've stated many times before, I was however communicated that this was a freeze until the mask wearing was over. It's unfortunate that you can't simply set aside your rigid view on this matter and see the ultimate truth that there was simply a misunderstanding, and that you are a multi million dollar business that can easily absorb a $100 to keep a customer happy. read more

I just moved over to Yoga Six at the Forum in Carlbad after having a horrible experience at Bressi Ranch...After my first few classes at Yoga Six at the Forum, I realized everything I had been missing at Bressi. The Forum offers many classes, both heated and non-heated. The manager and front desk people are welcoming and professional. The facility has a bathroom/locker room with plenty of stalls and beautiful showers with bath products. The yoga instructors are spiritual and start the classes with readings or discussions of intentions. Just what is needed to help all of us in our daily challenges. The classes are challenging and instructors are helpful with adjustments and suggestions to help improve ones practice. I am so glad that I made the switch to Yoga Six at the Forum! read more

I wanted to get my sister a gift certificate for her birthday in 2 days. I left 2 messages yesterday, and drove 25 miles to get details on prices for classes. Was promised a call at 3:30pm. Not one call back. No details on website for different costs and packages. Disappointed. Will be going elsewhere for her gift. Too bad. I thought they'd be more responsive. read more

Super frustrated with the management and customer service here. Trying to get in contact with anyone to make changes to your membership is near impossible. I reached out for weeks through calls, texts, and even stopping by the studio to let them know I had to cancel my membership because I am getting back surgery. Once they finally responded they sent a link that did not work. I let them know and had to wait another day for them to correct the link. In the meantime they charged me another $159 for an additional month while I will be laying in a hospital bed. They refuse to help in any way. I have been a member of multiple Yoga Six studios as I moved around SD county and I would not recommend this studio. Very disappointed. read more

Dirty walls in the hot room and stinky rental towels. Rude front desk staff. Locked me into yoga studio after my first class because they didn't check the shower before they locked up. OK, mistakes happen, but no apology or accountability. read more

I signed up for a free class, showed up 5 mins late, was greeted by two receptionists who didn't even crack a smile. I had to greet them first to get their attention. They then told me they had a strict policy where they can't let you in if you're late. I thought they were joking. So there I was, got up early for a yoga class and then literally turned away at the door. They then proceeded to try to sell me more classes. Rude staff, ridiculous policy. Don't recommend if you have a life outside yoga class and might be a few minutes late because.. I don't know, a commute, work, kids. read more

This yoga studio is located with a bunch of other cute spots around it, making it nice for stopping in for multiple errands but tough to park. The classes are consistently good, and the studio has always been well maintained. Overall and easy stop in for a great class! I have had an extremely horrible experience at this studio with Tori the manager... One time was extreme and the other times were just really bad experiences. I don't feel comfortable being around Tori at all. I don't feel comfortable coming to a studio I once really liked.... After this happened I tried to go to a few more classes since I had already paid for my membership and I really couldn't enjoy myself... I had a lot of anxiety about what if I I hot what if I feel woozy and they don't allow me to leave the room? Besides being told more than once that they ask us not to leave the studio room even if we get hot I was asked to leave once after they made a billing error and falsely believed I hadn't payed for my monthly membership... Tori was right outside the door and dashed towards me the second the studio door opened.... she said "you need to leave" and sorry I can't tell you why or something to that effect and that management would be reaching out to me... I am prone to anxiety and depression... (again this was THEIR error).... What did they do mollify it? Nothing just a sorry you felt that way type of response.... they haven't changed their policies or anything they will still treat you like a leper if they believe you had some kind of billing problem... BEWARE if you're going here to help with anxiety or depression this is NOT the place... they are super corporate and do NOT care about you as an individual whatsoever... they only care about the dollars... I had this aweful experience a few months ao and I tried my best to "get over it" but I just don't feel good when I am inside YogaSix.... I've gone to many other studios... I've never experienced anything like this.... I have a lot more to add I will add more after I am more composed. I have reached out for a refund on my monthly membership since the day they took the money unbeknownst to me.... they keep prosiming me contact but I have received no contact since last Friday when they said they were sending this information to corporate and requesting my refund for the months membership I never used and never will use! I am happy to explain more to anyone considering this aweful studio. I am happy to speak with corporate headquarters about this matter... I will do whatever I need to do to get my money back I have no transportation and this company is aware I got into a car accident 8/31 and have no car of my own and no way to get to the studio and they will not refund the money... they do not treat people like people you are just an object to them... read more

My favorite YogaSix class is Sculpt and Flow. I love this yoga studio. I have been a member for years.

This is an awesome studio! Trying many studios in the area, I really feel that Yoga Six is the BEST! It is very clean, ever instructor is kind and experienced! You can pick from stretching to hot and power yoga. Every class is challenging in its own way and the class times are very convenient. Not only is the staff always very friendly and welcoming, but everyone is the classes are pretty friendly as well! A must try for everyone! read more

My sister and I both came to try this boutique studio out after having ran the Encinitas Half Marathon in March this year, which included a free class at Yoga Six as part of the goody bag. Having been loyal enthusiasts at another national yoga franchise, we were excited to try out another studio that is more local. We went to the Bootcamp Class that was just killer - basically a HIIT class with free weights with a short yoga warmup. The music was energetic, the instructor was motivating and makes a point to go around the room. Shout out- she noticed that I was drenched and dripping all over the mat and stepped out to get a towel for me so I didn't fall. I sooo appreciated that. The routine was challenging, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Downside: as many mentioned, the room wasn't well ventilated and was pretty crowded. The class itself: 4.5/5 + Great amenities, clean bathrooms, and cubbies for your to store your items during class. The biggest negative came from the experience leading up the class. I know this is based off of a singular experience, and most likely a lot of more regular clients will comment more positively, but I thought the receptionist and overall vibe was unfriendly. I had tried calling five times earlier that day (from 1 pm onwards, on the half hour) to get a better understanding of the studio and reserve a spot, but no one answered. I told the receptionist this, and she merely shrugged / seemed skeptical. When we presented our vouchers, the receptionist seemed skeptical (again) and was intently searching for an expiration date (come on, if the studio didn't want us to try it out, then they shouldn't have enticed half marathon runners). She also begrudgingly said "I'll try to squeeze you in" to the class, and to us, made it seem like a chore, even though we did try to call ahead of time. Also, we didn't know that the "bootcamp class" required yoga mats (even though I read the online description, and again, no one answered the five times I called), and had we known, we would have brought our own mats. The receptionist insisted on us renting at $3/ each, and saying there's no way to waive it since "it's already a $30 class." For many studios that I've seen and been to personally, not limited to yoga, first timers get free rentals (mats, towels, shoes...). I don't mind paying, but I don't think it was fair to phrase it like that, to be honest. It made us feel like we were subverting the system, even though we weren't at all, just using the voucher that we were given. All in all, my sister and I had a negative interaction right off the bat, and didn't feel welcomed into the Yoga Six fitness community. I feel like we all present ourselves, become vulnerable to our physical weaknesses, and dedicate our hour for the same reason, to get stronger, and there's no need to sour a newcomer's experience with an unfriendly and judging attitude. Simply put, we just felt like we didn't belong there. For those who are regulars, I totally understand the hype. I love fitness classes. But to those who are just trying it out, maybe it was just a bad day at Yoga Six, but I didn't feel the warm and fuzzies like I usually do after a good workout and positive community interaction. read more

I went to better yoga studios but I can see why it's also a 5-star studio for other Yelpers. This was not my first yoga studio I had been to. I took advantage of the online deals of various yoga studios for trials and Yoga Six is not my cup of tea for the price. I like the amenities a lot, and they definitely put some thought into it by having hair supplies, shower stalls with toiletries, hair ties and even feminine products which was quite impressive, but the atmosphere and vibe of the studio is somewhat pretentious and unwelcoming to me. First thing I noticed, was the ridiculously crowded studios for the times I went, usually weekdays around 5pm after work where most people would show up. My first time there, I was intrigued by how they could have markings on the floor for where to put your yoga mats to maximize space. I knew that was not a good sign. It seems to me they're very much business-oriented to try to cram as many people as possible, neglecting the experience of the people inside the room. Let me tell you, it's no fun doing yoga when you could sniff your neighbor's BO or that girl who sprayed way too much hair product or perfume. Would you like to take a deep, cleansing breath now? At one point I was going to walk out but it was really rude to do so and thank god the class only lasted for a bit less than an hour. Second, because of the crowd and the precariously narrow path that you might need to meander through in a room full of mats and people, they are very, very strict on arriving class on time. Literally, you cannot even be a minute late, well, also depending on how strict the person is at the front desk Third, the quality of the teachers varied a lot. I had some who were very friendly and knowledgeable, while some didn't give out good vibes and said weird things during the lesson... and you could tell yoga was a job for them, not a lifestyle. Fourth, if you want to be a serious yogi who actually practices yoga, this might not be a place for you to start with. Chances of having a real yoga practice here are pretty low, I'm not saying there's none because I haven't had every single teacher yet. But if you go there for a good workout and treat it as a pilates studio, then your experience will be better and your expectations will be met. Fifth, yoga is not about clothing and shopping. I buy my yoga clothes at Ross and they function and look just as well as my lulu lemon pants that I received as a gift. The fact that they devoted such a big area in the store for merchandise says a lot about this studio. There are many options out there for yoga. Try out different ones and see which one you belong to. It's just as hard as finding the right apartment and roommate because if you go there every day, it's almost like your third home (second being work). I went in hoping to feel invigorated and lively, but most of the time I walked out with disappointment. I don't belong here. I honestly had checked out a few yoga studios that are better than this, so two stars is about right. Update: now I'm taking yoga with a private instructor who started doing yoga 60 years ago, you heard it right, 60 years ago, before I was born and before yoga was publicly seen on the American soil. She is a very coveted yoga teacher and was invited by this studio to teach. She came here for a class or two as a student and never went back. I think that says enough. read more

This was my first time doing yoga since high school, so I was definitely nervous. I know some yogis can be super intense and was afraid I would stick out like a sore thumb (which I probably did anyways, so...) but my experience at Yoga Six was fantastic! The facility looks like a spa and the staff is really friendly. I would certainly come back, and would also like to try their other locations in San Diego. I went to a Flow class led by Kelli. She's amazing; she greeted my friend and I before the class since she knew I was new, and she was kind enough to help me fix my posture on multiple occasions. It seemed like the class was mostly regulars, but she didn't play favorites with any students and the class flew by. read more

I love *Yoga Six* as it feels great for my mind, body, and soul and it's my great escape from reality with the precious time spent in each class devoting myself to my practice of yoga. I've been going to this studio for a long time even way back when it used to be called *Haute Yoga*. This studio is located in The Forum Carlsbad, on the second floor, with ample parking nearby. The facility is clean, plenty of lockers, staff is friendly, and instructors are great. It's all about knowing yourself and also challenging yourself if you want to take the yoga pose to the next level. I enjoy all their classes here especially Hot Yoga! I love taking Abbie's classes as she is an awesome instructor. It feels great breaking a sweat and challenging yourself physically and mentally! I highly recommend Yoga Six for a variety of class options and times that can meet your needs to get your Yoga Workout on. ;D read more

My old review was based on the now-defunct Haute Yoga. Although the facilities have definitely been updated, I liked the older studio better. While the previous studio was covered with brightly colored walls and a cozy atmosphere, the current look is a more sterile but modern feel, with everything white and orange (which seems like Yoga Six's colors). I took a restorative class here and was given a strap that reeked of someone's body odor. Ugh. I never had that happen when I practiced at Haute. That and their water tank is now replaced by this strange-looking fountain that delivers lukewarm water which tastes like tap. A lot of people seem to love Yoga Six, but for me, I'd much rather practice somewhere that deepens my understanding of yoga and doesn't deliver pre-packaged sequences. read more

I have been a member of YogaSix for over 5 years. I began as someone who had never done yoga and didn't think I had the "yoga body" or flexibility expected with going to a yoga studio. I hung out in the back of class, cowering in fear. As time went on, I began to feel more comfortable with classes and myself in regards to flexibility and body image. The amazing teachers help make everyone feel accepted and comfortable. Classes are guided, assistance is given and it's an incredible feeling to move and sweat in unison with a strong community. Flash forward 5 years, I'm in the front row, feeling confident with my practice, even when it's not "perfect". I love the specialty classes they offer, things like inversions or other areas of focus to expand your practice. I love walking into the studio and being welcomed with smiles. The studios are clean, teachers are good and heat/humidity is excellent. I can't say enough good things about YogaSix! It's changed my life: body, kind and spirit. read more

Wouldn't recommend. I purchased a unlimited month and only used a half a class the first time cause I couldn't handle the heat and had to leave. Paid all this money and never was able to go back cause I was having major health issues. I asked the manager several times via email and phone if she can please honor the credit and let me come In another time when I don't have pneumonia to use the classes. A- I didn't not want to get other people sick b- I had pneumonia and wasn't feeling well. She was the most un compassionate RUDE heartless human I ever ever spoke to. She said no I can either go to the class ( even tho I had pneumonia) or not. Either way she wasn't letting me use the month when I felt better. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. Number one there hygiene practices? Who tells someone with pneumonia they should go to a small sweaty room with people. Number 2 lack of empathy is not where I want to put my dollar. The ironic thing is they lost a paying customer who was thinking of getting the unlimited plan moving forward.. read more

I did not feel that I got my money's worth. The class I took was ok. The routine was good, but the girl teaching it used her "yoga voice" and I just wanted to laugh. The studio is well appointed and modern. I am not about the bling, but obliviously the clientele here are. I would have been good with the class, but what turned me off was the smell of the room and the receptionist. The area by the equipment smells like wet dog. The room has markings on the floor for your mat, but the dude in front of me did not put his mat down in the "right" position and I ended up looking at his like "hanging fruit" the entire class. Euuuuew, my eyes were burning. I could not move as we were all crammed in like sardines. Despite this, I would most likely have bought a class pass, but did not.... why? Bad front desk staff. I entered this facility 5 min before class started. The rough, no smiles front desk lady said, " Just leave your credit card with me and I'll take care of it" which I thought was weird because I didn't tell her what package I wanted to buy. I came out of class and said, " I'm ready to pick a pass." She said, " I already ran it through." I was tired and had 'yoga brain' so I just left. When I looked at my email and noticed she charged me $30 for class... Ouch! At first, I thought, oh maybe she charged me for two classes and went on the website and noticed that one class is $30!!!!! Then I noticed that there was an email from Yoga Six saying.... $50 off Special. It was a special for Memorial Day. In doing the math, it would've been a good choice or I would have bought a card pass. The lady did not ask me what I wanted, offer me the special, did not ask how often I may be coming, or ask anything. No matter what you are selling, you must make the customer feel valued and ask for the business. She obviously did not care. I almost called back and asked for the better deal, but why should I do all the work? The frontline is the most important job. They are the first impression of the company. My impression is that they do not care anything else except for your money. read more
