Pilates Republic has been such an amazing find! I recently moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a new workout routine, and I'm so happy I found this studio. From my very first class, everyone has been so friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. The workouts are definitely challenging, but in the best way--they leave you feeling stronger and accomplished every time. I also love that they mix things up by incorporating strength training, barre, and yoga into traditional Pilates, so every class feels fresh and engaging. The instructors (Cat) are fantastic, the atmosphere is positive, and the studio has such a great community. I genuinely look forward to every class. I booked the Tone/ Reformer + Barre through Class Pass. I arrived early before class and the instructor Donna was very helpful. She set me up on the reformer and showed me around the studio. This studio is located behind Encinitas Bier Garden and Vuori. Inside is very spacious and equipment is clean. Personal loops are required however you are able to borrow one at the studio. Still a member and have taken 200+ classes! I usually go to the ones in Encinitas and Del Mar. If you're a beginner, I highly suggest you don't go to advanced classes because it can get really hard. Wes and Natasha are great if you're fairly new: clear instructions and great attention to your performance. If you want a really good challenge, take the Tone or Empower+ class from Mary; these classes are not for the weak and will make you sweat hard. read more
