I consider myself very fortunate to have found Pilates On Cue and notably, instructor Susan Schwartz.

I love the instructors, the way they taught and Pilates, in general. But my problem with the club…read moreis that first of all, it's very expensive in the first place, which wasn't the real problem. The issue was when I signed up the lady did not explain anything about the charges involved in the cancellation process of the classes, how to cancel and how many hours before the class I needed to cancel without getting charged. I had no idea that I was going to be charged for not showing up for a class. They charge $25 when you do not show up for a class which is utterly ridiculous and if you don't cancel within 24 hours of the class, they charge you $15! And this is all on top of $265 a month. The monthly membership fee is the only thing I was told at the time of sign up and to wear the Pilate socks. I don't remember the girls name who signed me up, but she always works at the La Costa location. She did not even tell me that I was able to go to three other clubs, which are in San Marcos, North Carlsbad and Encinitas. I only found out after being there over a month from another member!! After I asked about the extra charges on my card, I spoke to the young lady at the desk in LaCosta about them and when I told her she never explained the other fees involved she only removed one no-show fee, which was ridiculous. I then realized they were billing me for no-shows on days that I was there. I was only asked two times what my name was when I went to the different locations, so they knew who I was and showed up for the class. I don't like the fact that they kept my credit card on file so they can charge me whenever they wanted if I was there or not. I was charged numerous fees on top of my regular monthly payment of $265.mo for each of the three months I was a member of the club. Right now they are billing me $200 for no-show fees, which is utterly ridiculous because I know for a fact, I was there on 5 of the days they are charging me for. Also they're charging me $15 for the dates I know I cancelled my spot in the class before the 24 hour period. First of all NOT explaining all the costs of cancellations of classes among other factors, is a huge problem... it's like they didn't want to inform me about the draw backs...just sign up and give me your credit card and so we can basically charge you anytime we want and for however much we want! People just be careful and watch your credit card statements very closely if you're member of any of these clubs. After doing the math and seeing how they were overcharging me time after time when I was there. I decided to do the math, so if I were to stay with Club Pilates for six months from now, (not even counting all the charges they keep adding to my credit card), I could purchase my own reformer, so that's exactly what I did! I feel Club Pilates is a pure fraudulent company that very well may be taking advantage of you and everyone who joins! Today I would love to know how do they know if I was at a class or not, if no one taktrole, especially because I was new, so the teachers did not know me, nor did the front staff! I would NOT recommend Club Pilates! If you do join I would highly recommend checking your statements every month for charges that shouldn't be there! There were also other things I wasn't told or made aware of before signing up as well, but the above are the most important!

The policy on using credits. You buy credits ,pay monthly but can't use. I lost over $ 200.00…read morebecause I was ill and I had emergency travel .
