One complaint I have is that they strangely had no abdominal machines but one small decline bench hidden under a stairway. Safety and proper form are huge priorities here. Usually you are given more basic and advanced versions of exercises to choose from and work your way up to. No matter what level of athlete you are you will be challenged here. The classes are 1 hour and consist of 3 rounds of strength training (kettlebell, body weight, hanging, medicine ball slams, crawling, pushing, pulling) and flexibility (particularly hips, back and shoulder) circuits followed by a 5-10 min intense cardio session. It kicks your butt in a very good way. In 4+ months at ambition I went from deadlifting improperly and unsafely to now doing 5x265 pretty easily. My flexibility and balance is slowly but surely improving. My clothes are starting to fit better and I'm a lot stronger. I also have noticed an improvement in my golf game which wasn't even a goal from doing this but a nice side effect. Anyways you should stop reading yelp reviews and just go to ambition :).
