Pure Aesthetics is the best hidden gem of Gainesville. I spent the last decade moving around and traveling throughout the nation and have had aesthetic treatments at so many med spas and salons that I have lost count. Pure Aesthetics is hands down one of the highest quality experiences you will ever receive. From the moment you walk in the door, there are multiple receptionists who began greeting me by name on only my second visit. The atmosphere immediately calms you when you walk into the lobby, you will feel like you are about to have a massage! They always offer water, champagne, or a collagen drink (even if you are running late to your appointment, like I have unfortunately done more than once!) I can only speak to the services of Kelsey (electrolysis) and Lindsey (Coolsculpting Elite) from personal experience, but I am fully confident in saying that my experience every single appointment over the past few months is indicative of the entire staff. I cannot exclaim my praise for either of these women loudly enough. No matter what area of the body you would like to learn more about treatment for, everyone at Pure Aesthetics has an in-depth knowledge of the services offered and will never pressure you into booking a treatment or purchasing a product whatsoever. I was especially impressed to learn that all staff members that offer treatments must work the front desk for a period of time to learn how the office (and schedule) operates and to interact with the clients. I think this is the greatest idea from a Human Resources perspective (which I happen to have my Bachelor's degree in ) and ensures that any information given over the phone is well-informed, and not simply a reiteration of the menu of services offered which you can read for yourself online. If you are seeking a treatment of an area but are not quite sure if you'd like to go the surgical route, the building is shared with Gaines Plastic Surgery. I cannot personally attest to Dr. Gaines, as I have not had any surgeries at this location, but this is truly an incredible partnership that allows clients to pursue all their aesthetic or cosmetic procedures in one place, with staff they are already comfortable with greeting them and offering a plethora of experience, knowledge, and services along the way. Lastly, I feel it would be remiss not to mention the personal touch and genuine care that the staff has for each and every client. A few months ago, I had a personal emergency which left me without my cell phone, and I ended up "no-call, no-show-ing" two appointments in a row. Instead of blocking me from scheduling further appointments, both Kelsey and Lindsey showed immediate, unwavering care and concern and welcomed me back to my appointments as soon as I was able to make contact again. Of course, I hope such an incident never happens to anyone else, but many Med Spas that I know of would enforce a strict cancellation policy with no questions asked, but not here. When I come here, I know that I'm not only trusting my body with experts and professionals at their specialties, but trusting my overall wellbeing to a team that genuinely wants to see everyone look, feel, and achieve their best. I recommend anyone who is even considering a treatment at Pure Aesthetics to visit the website and at a minimum, get on the email list, as there is a new special each month, and the treatment you're eyeing might be next on the list for a discount! Personally I love facials here! The hospitality is great here and staff is friendly, and nice office. I was a VIP member for a year and a half and decided to end my membership bc the injectables are not the best. I have had a couple sessions that I walked away just shocked to see the results. I get my lips filled and had bruising, lumps, etc.. My mom also came in for some Botox and filler and she had even worse results I felt awful because she still has a lump from the filler after several months of the procedure. I went to get injected by Mary and Katie. Katie did good with the lips once but she did my mom's face and her results were very bad. Im really sad to update my last 5 star review with a 1 star review. I genuinely really loved this place and am extremely disappointed with how i was treated with a situation that occurred, especially after spending hundreds of dollars here. I came in for a consultation to get filler in the bridge of my nose to straighten my bridge & lift the tip. I was told 1/2 a syringe would be perfect for my nose. The day of the appointment my injector Katie did not put the full amount (1/2 a syringe like we discussed) in my nose. A week later my nose absolutely needed a touch up (which she never informed me that i may need). I called to ask if i could come in for a touch up & they told me it would be MINIMUM $200. At this point i felt robbed. I would have not cared for the touch up or the price if i had gotten what i paid for IN MY NOSE. But since i didn't get the full 1/2 syringe, i knew i needed to talk to management to figure this out. This is where it gets bad. I requested to speak to management & was told Allison would reach out to me. Instead, Katie (my injector) called me. This conversation was awful & extremely disrespectful. I record all my calls for work purposes & can share them with management if they request them. Katie hung up on me mid conversation, was speaking over me, interrupting me when i would speak & i was nothing but nice to her this entire conversation. It got to the point where i needed to deescalate this situation & I told her I didn't even want to talk to her in the first place, that i wanted to talk to MANAGEMENT. She then relayed the message to Allison (manager) Allison did not call me for WEEKS. I would call EVERY DAY trying to get a hold of her & they would tell me the same thing "shes not here right now". When she would call me it would be on "no caller ID" or would do a ringless voicemail method where my phone wouldn't ring & she would just leave a voicemail. I ended up sending an email in between this all & was thrown money. "$150 for any service I want". Unfortunately this is extremely offensive after everything i went the through with Pure Aesthetics. It was never about the money, it was the principle of the situation. I work with different medical spas across the country & have never seen something like this. This is not the behavior of a top tier med spa, & am extremely disappointed in this company, please do better. I've been to Pure Aesthetics twice. I travel to Gainesville to visit my daughter and I try to book with Mary when I can. Mary is the most knowledgeable injector I've ever encountered. I actually used to inject Botox in my Nurse Practitioner role before I retired, and hands down I bow to the expertise of Mary. I had high expectations coming here given all of the good reviews this place gets. But this was the worst Botox/Dysport experience! The practitioner (I won't name names but she is VERY well liked there) left me with uneven Spock-like eyebrows that I had come back to get fixed. To boot, I think they must water their products down. I'm usually a solid 3-4 months when I get Botox/Dysport at other spas, but the treatment I received only lasted about 6 weeks (of course, they charged what everyone else does). Waste of money. Look elsewhere for Botox/Dysport in Gainesville! Ideally a place where an actual doctor is doing the injections. read more

Mary, Mary, Mary! Let's start there. I have had botox over the years by Dr's, Nurses and estheticians. This entire experience was different. Mary is an ARTIST plain and simple. Instead of me telling her what "I" see (which we all know WE are our own worst critics), she told me honestly what SHE was seeing. I went to Pure Aesthetics at the recommendation of my dermatologist from Springhill UF. I was lucky enough NOT to need another mohs surgery, which is a precise surgical technique used to treat skin cancer. But, not so lucky that I didn't need some TLC for my skin and some preventative treatment. My insurance will not cover preventative treatments, so she recommended Pure Aesthetics. I was nervous for many reasons; cost, treatments types, etc. I just had NO idea what to expect. The staff was wonderful and I was able to get an appointment, at no cost, for a consultation. The office was clean and they were respectful and following safety rules. I did not have to wait for long. Once in the back room, I spoke with staff about what my prior skin cancer experience had been, told her about my nervousness and explained that I wanted to make sure I was caring for my skin, making it healthy and doing this as a preemptive message. She went through procedures I could do to get my skin back in shape and also some ways topically I could nourish and bring my skin back to life in a healthy protective way. Then they gave me options for time frames, mainly because of my job and time down from procedures and also the big factor, cost. They were not pushy and totally understood. They told me what they thought would get me to the place where I wanted to be quickly and also a way to get there within the limits of my business and finances. I TOTALLY appreciated how professional they treated me. They put my worries to rest about getting my skin healthy again and now between them and UF Dermo, I know I am on the right track to getting my skin cancer free and healthy. read more
