I had a very disappointing experience at Ideal Image in Gainesville. I stopped by while passing through Gainesville because I wanted to get lip filler. I made it clear that I was only in the area once and was in a time crunch. Before anyone explained the procedure or possible contraindications, I was rushed to sign a lengthy 20-page contract and make payment. When I went in for the procedure, the staff member (Joy) did not review risks or contraindications with me -- I had to ask her myself. It turned out I had a medical condition that made lip filler unsafe. I told her I did not want to risk a bad reaction. Surprisingly, she admitted she personally would not do the procedure in my situation but still suggested that I go through with it since I wouldn't be in the area again. That made no sense, and even the front desk staff looked uncomfortable. At that point, I declined the procedure and requested a refund. I was told a refund would be processed within a few business days. Instead, when I called back, I was told my file reflected as if I had received the filler (which I had not). Despite multiple calls and escalations, no refund was ever issued. Eventually, they admitted I never received filler and simply placed the "filler credit" back into my account. I don't want any services from this company -- I just want my money back. The Gainesville manager admitted the situation was mishandled by both the current and prior manager, and sent me to corporate. At corporate, Abigail reviewed my case. Even though I had requested cancellation in less than 24 hours -- which their own terms and conditions (posted on their website) clearly allow -- she told me that was not the case. I also provided documentation showing I was away on deployment and unable to return for services, which the contract also states should allow for cancellation. She refused to honor either. Abigail became argumentative, boasting about how she has such great reviews and insisting that she alone has the authority to approve refunds. She also claimed that local offices have no right to process refunds, leaving customers completely at her discretion. On top of that, she stated she is in charge of all the reviews, which explains why so many negative ones appear to be hidden. Ultimately, she told me that when my contract expires in June, my money would simply be lost -- and that it was her final decision. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Ideal Image. I do not feel safe with their staff or comfortable with their business practices. They seem more interested in keeping money than treating clients fairly. Bottom line: Stay away. I am so happy that I have found a center that is friendly, clean and knowledgeable. I have been to this Ideal Image twice over the past 6 months for Botox and lip injections. My results were consistent even though I had 2 different providers take care of my services. I think this is a bonus because it allows more flexibility in my return visits since I liked both of them. I wanted to leave a review for such a terrible company to help others to avoid what happened to me. Let me explain my terrible experience with Ideal Image corporation in detail. I wanted to do Layer hair removal with Ideal Image. At the begging, I called them for consultation and the consulter told me about the price of full body package and what parts would be covered. After that, she explained about how I can get the loan for my payments and sent a loan contract to sign. Also, she made my first appointment on the phone. Later, she sent a DocuSign document regarding my hair removal contract by email, which I NEVER opened and signed. At the appointment, I realized there is something wrong with what the consulter told me about my package and price. The new packages, which I was told on the appointment day, only included half of parts of what the consulter told me and if I wanted to include the rest in my package, I needed to pay $3000 more! So, I asked them to cancel my appointment to see what is going wrong with my contract and I also requested to make a copy of my original contact. Then, I was given a copy of a contract with my information included but I NEVER SIGNED THE CONTRACT. There was some else initial and signature on the contract!!!!! I called their miserable consumer service to provide an explanation about WHO SIGNED MY CONTRACT!! The customer service had NO EXPLANATION about that. They hung up the phone! After several calls, they promised to call me back with an explanation but after 30 DYAS, no one is responsible about who signed my contract!!
