As I mentioned I waited for a long time so I'm very unsure how to translates to being selfish and seeking immediate attention? I regret not speaking up at the time and blamed partial of the delay to myself for not being more assertive. Also, she did not she would do it free of charge... so that was a lie. So I've gotten eye lash extensions done at Brow center before (Minoo did a great job! For anyone getting extensions *anywhere* be forewarned: it's a long process and isn't the most comfortable.) Today is my first time ever getting my eyebrows done professionally. I happen to be very particular about them. Minoo's 20+ years of experience and plethora of content clients speaks for itself. Also, to be noted: the few reviews of unhappy guests were from people who were unhappy with the wait time. In regards to that I say: You will experience a wait because she is only one woman and takes her time with her work(which mind you, when it's YOUR face being worked on you'll appreciate this). I've been to a lot of different eyebrow salons and they have never come out looking this great. This is a small salon but I came here after lunch time to get my eyebrows threaded. One of my friends recommended this place because she always gets her eyebrows done here. No one was there so I was seen immediately. I asked for threading and tinting but Minoo said that the tinting wouldn't be necessary and I have a lot of respect for when people are honest. I've been doing my brows for over 15 years and never has someone got all of my hair with just waxing. They usually kill me with tweezing and Minoo barely had to tweeze. I'm so thankful I found her. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & PROFESSIONALISM EVER!!! EXPECT A LONNGG WAIT I booked an appointment for permanent brow cosmetics and sat waiting for 1hr 1/2 then amazingly was asked to come back tomorrow. I explained I was to fly out in the morning and at the time did not live there (putting me an uncomfortable position) the lady began my process of tattooing my brows. Fearful that our disagreement did not please her my process was very uncomfortable but the outcome of my brows was very pleasing. It was explained to me that I may have to return for a small touch-up so after healing I made another appointment. When I arrived I was asked to come back a different day & nothing seemed to fit her schedule for a customer that had already paid for a somewhat expensive service, waited forever for the initial service and was now being told to come back a different day after I had already made the trip because she was busy. We finally came to a day that worked but I received a text message 2 hrs before my appointment saying she had to cancel and would reschedule me for the next day. Which brings me to this very moment where my appointment was set for 6:30pm and it is now 7:45pm with me still sitting here as she even works on all of her walk-ins that came in after me for a simple brow threading. I had planned before to also have my permanent liner touch-up but ABSOLUTELY NOT after all of this. This has been such a disrespect of my time!!! Maybe she's content with just performing for her lower paid services. He performance was definitely BELOW AVERAGE for mine. read more

I purchase permanent make up for my eyebrows. I chose hair stokes (as opposed to completely filled in) and I am very pleased with the results. She is an incredibly talented artist. Her eye for symmetry is incredible. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is the wait time and little trouble I had reaching her for my second appointment (no answer a few times) She was very laid back and funny once we started the process. The total cost was $300. It was somewhat painful but I got use to it after a few minutes. I have no regrets! read more

I've been coming to Minoo for years and she has never ever disappointed. Her prices have gone up over the years, but they're about the same as other eyebrow threading places now. Either way, she is well worth it. She spends a lot of time making sure your eyebrows are perfect and when she finishes, she makes sure you're happy with them. Ive seen her work on eyebrows and theyre always very good :) It's important to make an appointment and have like at least 3 hours open if you're planning on doing something like eyelash extensions. She works by herself and so when people come in without making an appointment, it puts her in a sticky situation. I went to get my eyebrows microbladed. Minoo did tattoo my eyebrows.(Not micro blade) At first I was happy with the way it turned out, & she was kind. Fast fwd a few months, and now the ink barely took. I've had to go back twice and still I have no results. I feel like I paid my money for nothing and now I will have to find someone to fix what she started. IDK if it's the ink she is using or what. I'm African American. I just wanted to make other aware of the issue I had. It's nothing personal. But it definitely needs to be addressed. read more

She also takes her time with her customers, so as the one on the chair I was pleased, as the one waiting I was getting anxious. I have been to her multiple times and every time I get my eyebrows done from her, I get compliments. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wanted to avoid having to wait to be worked on so I figured I'd call ahead to book an appointment. The lady on the phone said I didn't need an appointment and to just come in whenever. Lo and behold, when I came in, I had to sit and wait in line for about 45 minutes before she finally got to me. The lady was rather rude and wasn't very welcoming. All she said was "can I help you?" in a condescending tone before turning back to her work and ignoring me. She never asked me what my preferences were on how I wanted my eyebrows done and I had to voice my desires on my own. I'm afraid that if I didn't then they would've turned out much worse. In addition, she never let me know what she was doing and as this was my first time getting my eyebrows done, this was very scary. Their free consultation is a joke as the most information I got her to divulge after letting her know what I wanted my brows to look like was that I needed threading on top on tinting if I wanted more shapely brows. As for her work, my eyebrows are uneven. The arch on one of the eyebrows is higher than the other, and she thinned it too much making the tinting way too obvious. I had to ask for her to use stain remover to get rid of the lines because it looked ridiculous. Overall I would give this place 2/5 stars as the customer service is atrocious and the work was mediocre. It seemed like the lady was more interested in getting as many clients done as possible than to spend her time actually working with each individual to get them their desired look. She just assumed she knew best and didn't have a care in the world for what I had to say when I voiced my fear of the brows turning out too dark or too thick. If I were to work up the courage to get my eyebrows done again after this horrible experience, I will definitely not be coming back here. read more

My friend referred me here because she does a good job on her brows. I made an appointment for my 1st visit. My brows were really pretty but she took 2 walk-in before me and made me wait when I had made an appointment. I figured appointments didn't matter so on my second visit Saturday 1/12/19, my sister and I walked in and waited in line. There were 2 other ladies ahead of us. As she finished up with the last one, another lady walked in who appeared to be the mom of the young lady in the chair who was getting finished. The technician then turned and asked me and my sister directly which one of us was first and the "Mom" interrupted and said "oh I'm next". We were all shocked, The "mom" came in after me, after my sister, and after another waiting customer and she did not have an appointment. The technician took the "mom" next anyway. Me, my sister and the other waiting customer walked out after waiting 40 minutes. At that point we didn't want an apology, we wanted her to be fair and respectful of our time. She lost $75-$100 dollars and potential loyal customers and for what, 1 $25 client. She did a good job the first time but on both occasions she was not respectful of my time at all. We will not be going back. **Response to Owner** If you look carefully most of your 1-star reviews are for your customer service not for your skill! There was no misunderstanding. 1. The 1st appointments were made in person on December 13th for brow threading, both my sister and myself, and you wrote them down in your book next to the register! So, I guess you don't take appointments now. 2. The "Mom" was not there when we walked in, therefore we would not have known she was in line, none of us did. That's why we all walked out along with the customer who was also waiting. 3. You turned directly to us (my sister and myself) and asked "which one of us was next"? The "Mom" was sitting along the wall in the opposite direction. If you knew the "Mom" was next then why ask me and my sister?! We didn't know you could walk-in, leave, and have another customer hold an invisible spot in line. 4. Assuming you are the owner, own it and move on. If you are truly sorry, lease it at that and don't be argumentative. I don't want any type of service, discount, or DEAL from someone with your character and lack of professionalism. Going back and forth is counterproductive and you never know who that customer is. read more

Am very disappointed with my (microblading). I brought pictures. I discussed my expectations. I even discussed what I would not like concerning shape color etc just to be clear. And I got two different eyebrows. One high and curvy. One low and straight. Neither very pretty. She did not do any measurements, just eyeballed it. There are thick obvious lines and no hairlike strokes. Just a solid blunt tattoo. Don't know what to do and out hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Everyone I know agrees with me when they see my brows. Thought I was in good hand but clearly Minoo has bad days at my expense. If anyone knows where I can go to fix them let me know. read more

Am very disappointed with my lashes. I had my own strip lashes to apply and I'm pretty sure the adhesive that was used to apply my lashes might possibly have been super glue. Once the tape was removed and I attempted to open my eyes the fumes were so strong I couldn't keep them open for long. My burned and watered for a while. She fanned my eyes and told me once I get in my car to turn the air on full blast to dry the lashes and I would feel better. It was excruciating. The next morning the lashes were hard, crunchy and stiff and my eyes were swollen. I immediately began to work on removing the lashes by using coconut oil to loosen the adhesive. What a waste! I do not recommend this place for anything with such unethical practices. read more
