I am visiting the area and called to make an appointment. They were able to get me in right away within 1 hour of the call. The nail salon was very clean and plenty of room to relax. There were so many colors of gel nail polish. My nail technician was very kind and ensured that I was comfortable throughout my pedicure. Overall my experience here was really bad, I got a gift card a couple months ago and on it in says that it expires in year but up until that point any service can be done using this gift card by any employee. When I went there this was not what happened, after getting. My nails done I was told that they were not going to except the gift card because the lady who sold it to me no longer worked there, even though that is what is written in the fine print that anyone could do the service. The nails themselves are over flooded in polish and I kept having to ask the guy who did them to fix the shape because they were uneven and lumpy. Also, about a week and a half later they are already lifting pretty bad, I will have to take them off in the next couple of days, it is not worth the money. I never leave reviews but I felt like I needed to. Anyone who is wanting to come get their nails done here please reconsider! read more

I don't get mani and pedis that often but when I do, I always go here. I am a stickler for cleanliness and professionalism. I must say, this nail shop is both. All of the tools are cleanes and sanitized along with the foot baths. The massage chairs are great and relaxing. I go to Sunny who is kind, gentle, and does a great job with nails. I've only gotten a regular mani and gel nails so I'm not sure about the quality of acrylic work. I go mainly for the upkeep and health of my nails and toes, but the color generally lasts 1 week (for reg polish) and about 12 days (for gel). read more

I went about 4-5 times. The last two times were horrible. After being passed from 3 technicians, no one seemed to know how to do an ombre look. The tech attempted and made a huge mess, causing my nails to have too much polish. The power was really thick and barely dried. She ended up attempting to do the process again, making it more of a disaster. If you want basic nail polish, this is a good place. Anything outside of the norm, I would recommend going elsewhere. The pedicure was even worse. All my nails were cut crooked and within two days the polish came off. They can get you in but remember, quality over quantity. $200 later and I will not return back. read more

These guys stay busy! Upon walking in, It was packed. It was a little after 11. They were kind and quick to greet you. Amy did my SNS, pedicure and my eyebrow waxing. She did a fantastic job! She has an amazing personality and talked me into stepping out of my comfort zone with my pink and nude to natural colors. This is hands down the worst nail salon I have ever been in. I got my hands and my toes with gel, I asked for a color which I was told was running low. I was asked to pick a new color which I did. When she started doing my nails she did them with the color that was running low halfway through she said she ran out, so she proceeded to cover my nails with glitter which u did not want. I left the saloon, and three days later my nails start peeling off (gel is supposed to last at least 2 weeks). I go to the saloon and the lady says she will fix my nails which she does, but she charges me. Even after I explained to her the situation. She re did my nails white and within two nails all of them were chipping off. I call to speak to a manager and get yelled at on the phone and get told they can't do anything about it. Awful costumer service and not to mention the place is filthy it was so dirty I told them to not even cut my cuticles, because there was no sanitation between uses. DO NOT GO THERE YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED. Honestly thinking of calling the health department on them. Haha read more

I dont normally complain about my nails but after paying 250 dollars for 2 full sets and toes i will NEVER go back the customer service wasnt bad but my nails speak for itself theyre not even shaped correctly and nothing like what I wanted, he smudged my nail and still applied gel ontop and cured it they're extremely short and i wanted long nails the lady cut me trying to file away a mistake she made then tried to do it again but i told her to leave it alone. I've been coming here for about two months now, Steven does my nails. I get all liquid gel nails (ie., like acrylics, but no powder) and then get the gel/shellac polish over those. I really wanted a thin, natural looking nail that would be stronger than my own, I wash my hands a lot at work and my nails tend to break. Steven gave me exactly what I was looking for, and when I showed them to my coworker who used to be a nail tech, she was very impressed...and now she goes to Steven, too! I also really like the "fade" nails, it's a glittery spin on a french and it allows for a longer time between fils because the back end is clear. I've been very happy with my nails! I've also gotten pedicures here and have been happy with those, they offer a whole range of add-on services as well. I have had my eyebrows waxed here a couple of times, and they always look good in the handheld mirror but I tend to have to tweeze some leftover hairs I find when I get home. However, I've still generally been satisfied with that, too! read more

Ignore the other reviews if you value cleanliness. I am here right now and this place is filthy. Example in photo: the cup holder beside my pedicure chair. Will update review after services are performed, if warranted. So far, my feet have been soaking in tepid water for at least 10 minutes, with no attention. Well, it seems that their practice is to have customers speak their feet in tepid water until a nail technician is available. Everyone who came in was handled the same way. I went here to have dip nails done for the first time. I researched the process. The woman who did my nails simply used regular clear nail polish as the base and for each coat between the layers of powder. The nails LOOKED nice; however, I had them done on a Thursday and the nails chipped and lifted off completely in 4 days (Monday). Also, she did not use new nail files, all the items she used on me she put back in a drawer where she got it. There were no types of measures being followed due to COVID-19. I went there since my favorite salon (Tami Nails) was packed. HUGE mistake. I had an older man do my pedicure. He seemed pissed off I was there. I have bad ingrowns and he hacked away until I was in tears, he was on his phone and didn't seem to care. Then onto the fingers...asked for pink and white, he was rushed, sloppy, and ROUGH. He kept flipping my hands around even after I told him he was hurting me. I couldn't leave fast enough, but before I did I told him he was in the wrong profession in front of a full lobby. First appointment, arrived on time to find the tech 'just' took a new customer and I had to wait. Said okay; the tech did not get the message, she said. Second time, same scenario. Left that time. It was obvious they had no interest in honoring their commitment, nor respect to me as a person or as a customer. Their attitude is, am lucky they are there to give a service. Liked this place at first since staff was nice. I'm new to the area and didn't know where to first go so this place was closest to my apartment. Interesting thing is typically when u go back for a fill, a fill is cheaper than getting a new set. I don't know how their pricing works but after going back a couple times the price just kept rising more and more. It managed to go from $40 to $45 to $50. We decided to come here after having a bad experience with another nail salon in the same area. Very happy that we came and found this place! We waited a few minutes and they took all 3 of us at the same time. Kind of a small place but clean and kept up. What made the experience great were the workers. Plus all three of us agreed that it was a really great pedicure due to the fact that the massage was fabulous, they took their time and didn't rush through the pedicure like a lot of places do. A nice sized selection of colors to pick from. (My sister decided to get 2 colors on her nails and toes. The guy that was taking care of her painted three nails and asked her if she liked it to make sure that she really like the color combo. That's just a nice touch and you can tell they care! Gel mani here $30, not the best deal in Gville, with chipping on multiple nails within 5 days- other places last about 2 weeks. When I went in after about a week because that was my only time off, they didn't believe me, and blamed the integrity of my nails... They were willing to touch it up after giving me a hard time and it chipped over my perfectly normal nail the next day. Sad I ever had to come here one weekend out of desperation. Under new management!!!!! The new owners have done a great job at cleaning the place up and decorating. It is now open and inviting, and the nail tech did a great job fixing the horrible full set I received elsewhere. He was very gentle with my cuticles and understood me when I said I wanted them "thin, short and natural". They do take walk-ins! They also offer gel, shellac, and boogie nights (acrylics with glitter inside the powder) and waxing services. I will definitely return! read more

Probably one of the best, if not the best, nail salons in Gainesville. They are affordable, quick, friendly, and very clean! I've gotten my nails done here and they turned out awesome. I normally go to Brazil Waxing Center to get my eyebrows and lip waxed but recently have been kind of disappointed with how my eyebrows turned out the last few times I went there.
