This was my first time visiting. I came in for a pedicure because I'm going on a cruise. Even though they were super busy, they took me in quickly. My nails are all messed up from chemotherapy and I was not sure they could help me. However, the expertise of the nail technician is very impressive. Also, she is a very kind and beautiful person which made my experience so much better. I ended up with a pedicure and a manicure and I felt like a beautiful woman again. It was a very, very nice afternoon. and to top all that off when I was about to leave another, customer jumped in and paid my bill. I sat down and my experience was rushed through and wasn't done well. I was very pressured to get gel nail polish.

1st time I went , I was satisfied. But my mom's pedicure messed up and they tried to make it seem like she did it. When I call back to talk to manager about what happened ( Jenny) she was so rude. So against my better judgment I went again with my friend my nails were fine My pedicure my feet were in cold water I told the woman, no avail. She messed my toes up then I was told by Jenny I would have to wait for that woman to get done with the pedicure she was doing to fix what she screwed up. Really?? I will not be back!!!! read more

I have been coming here for two years, and it has always been a pleasant experience, except for this last time when I sat in the first station for the first time. She was extremely rude and rushed through filling my nails. When I asked for flowers on my nails, they were extremely sloppy. I was still charged for the design even when I brought it to her attention and asked for it to be fixed, which seemed to be an inconvenience. read more

I've gone there a few times and each time I go I get a fill. It started off only around $50 dollars and then each different time I went the price kept going up I then became suspicious of the business. So one day my friend and I went in together got our nails done I got a fill, she got a full set her total came up to $55 dollars mine came out to $115. The lady Jenny doesn't like to talk to me and talks bad about customers as they walk in. Mind you my friend also got a design an each nail and got them almond shaped, I got them square with a design on two nails. My friend is also white and I am black and I am pulling the race card. The vibe is off and they will have you waiting for around 2 hours that was also my last day going. read more

Jenny is very rude to new and existing customers. even with an appointment you wait more than 1/2 hour or more. Final prices vary depending on who rings you up. Very expensive for mediocre services. This is definitely the best pedicure I have ever received. I got a gel spa pedicure with hot stones and they really take their time with the massaging. You get to choose your scent (I chose lavender) and it comes with lotion for you to take home, salts for the water, sugar scrub, and masque all in the scent that you chose. My mother in law likes the lemon one. I can't stress enough of good the massage and my gel pedicure looks perfect! I wish I lived closer so I could always come here. read more

Wow, I'm glad I didn't consult yelp to find my local nail salon. This place typically does a great job. There's a pretty Hispanic gal who does amazing work and I can legit go 3 weeks (being terribly rough on my hands) without my gel manicure looking ratchet. read more

This place is my #1 for getting manicures or pedicures. Prices are reasonable and they always do such a nice, precise job in whatever they do. My only critique is that the staff doesn't really speak to you (which I don't mind personally, and if you speak to them, they are kind). They also don't do designs on nails, so if you're looking for something intricate, this isn't your spot. All in all, this is the best place I've gotten my nails done at and I haven't had any issues. This is my local nail salon and it isn't taht bad. They did my nails very good and they lasted a little over 3 weeks before I had to get the redone. I love coming here. This is the first nail place I've found that the nails don't start lifting or breaking if I go 3 or 4 weeks between fills. There was a little bit of a wait today (about 20 minutes) but, they are worth it to me. They are all very sweet & friendly to customers. I've only gotten my finger nails done there, but Incant wait to go next week for my toes!! P.S. The bathroom is always clean & is very pretty. They don't use it as a storage room. read more

I love that anytime I've gotten my nails done here, they really last a long time. So I've always tried to make an appointment with the same person (table 1). But while she's fast and good, she's not the nicest person. As you can see from other reviews -- long waits and very snooty customer service. Starting to think it's not worth it. May try to find someone else who's at least nice. Pampering yourself should be a nice pleasant experience. Certainly not the case with this place. read more

First visit was great. Went to the guy at station 2 and they turned out wonderful! Second time going, went to station 5 and honestly might as well have had my 8 year old nephew do my nails. She legit took of half my thumb nail so it was straight up crooked...asked her to fix it and she tried to file MORE away!!!!!! So disappointed after this visit. My nails look the worst they ever have and I've been getting them done over ten years. Will only come back and have station 2 do them in the future. I've been coming here since they first opened. They are the best place to get your nails done (especially dip polish)! I always get a ton of compliments on my nails and they last forever. All the employees are perfectionists and always make sure you're happy with the way your nails look. Yes, they can get very busy (they're popular because they're good!!) but I've never minded because even though it might take a while to get in and out, my nails will always look excellent and make me feel put together. I was delighted that Nail 1st has opened up. They are practicing social distancing and have taken extra precautions to make sure their clients are safe. Plexiglass between nail tech and client. Plexiglass between stations. You must make an appointment and when you get there they ask you to wash your hands. I had my nails done by Jenny. I have been going here now for about a year. When I first started they were very good. Last 4 visits has been terrible. Gel always peels back or chips before two weeks they never take the time to give a full mani & pedi. The hand massages consist of about 3 rubs each hand then your done. Same with pedis. Gotten very sloppy with polish all over toes leaving skin on side of toes. The price varies every two weeks. Last visit was 52$ two weeks later now 66$ without tip. Just terrible. Try to rush you in and out cause people are waiting. 3 star only cause they were good at the beginning or I would give them a 1 within the last 4 visits. read more

I live nearby this salon, made a appt for later in the same afternoon. When I arrived I still had to wait 45 minutes. One of the lead girls in this salon is extremely rude and will cut off your question before you are finished to interject her opinion. Tried this salon for a second time and had another bad experience...I was the next person in line and another customer came in and asked a question, and they told her to sit at a station and started to work on her. I let them know I was next and they said they knew but kept working on the customer that came in after me. Terrible! I called 2 hours before closing & asked if I could come in for a full set. The lady said sure come in around 615 & just wait, no problem. I come in at 615, I wait until 745 (15 min after they have closed) and nothing. No acknowledgement, no "you are next", nothing! Completely ignored. I watched two other customers come in, get their toes done & then their hands, all while I'm still sitting just waiting for my set. I ended up just walking out. I decided to try this nail place. Let me tell you, do not waste your money here. I was told I would be waiting for 5 minutes. Well I was waiting for 40 minutes and in that 40 minutes 5 people went before me. I came in 10 minutes after they opened. This was ridiculous. I've had friends recommend this place and their nails were nice so I decided to give it a try. I came in yesterday after work and it was packed. Over an hour wait is what I was told. I asked if they set appointments and was told no only walk ins. So today I walk in and there's only person in front of me, yay me! Not so much. Forty five minutes later I left without getting any service. I'm annoyed because three people came in after me and got service while I waited that had appointments. I just wanted to say I've been going to Nails 1st by Ken for several months now. I have always been more that pleased with the excellent job they do. My gel nails are amazing and they last longer than any shop I've been to. I think the people who work there are so cheerful and kind. I love how clean the shop is and I really wouldn't go anywhere else. Also I really enjoy the pedicures. They line each pedicure spa with a new liner for each customer.
