She really takes her time and is able to do a quality "squoval" shaped gel-french manicure that is smooth, even, and doesn't peel or chip in less than 2 weeks. Like any other well-run business, they will not take a walk in if there is an appointment booked, even if it doesn't "look busy", which makes sure booked appointments don't walk in and have to wait, and I am really grateful for that consideration. They are a smaller salon so not being able to just have a "spur of the moment mani pedi" last minute is definitely not something most of us are used to, so I recommend calling ahead at least 24 hours and asking for Christina!

You will think what's being offered is part of your service because they don't tell you that it's not. I just paid $60 for a toenail regular polish change and a 10 minute soak in water. Literally, that was all the service I had. This occurred while both of my friends had full tier 1 pedicures (soaking, massage, hot towels, scrubbing, cutting of the nails, filing, pushing back the cuticles and cutting them, painting, etc.) and paid $60 each for their services. When we all initially sat down for our appts, the nail tech offered for my feet to soak for 10 minutes while I chose the color I wanted. At no point did he say the 10 minute soak was an added service for a fee. This information was completely neglected, on purpose. In the past I have had the toenail polish change service done at Enso at least three (maybe even four times) and the soak was always part of the service while my girlfriend's received their full pedicures. Today, my toenail polish change was just the clear base coat, the regular color (not even gel), and the topcoat and then some tidying up of the paint that landed on my skin. I asked for no filing, cutting, nor massaging/scrubbing/other pedicure services. My nails were previously cut, natural, and ready for the paint. A nail tech was physically with me for maybe 10 to 15 minutes just to do the paint, and that's it. When I went to check out and saw the bill was $60 my jaw dropped because I did not have any type of service completed to warrant that cost, and why would a simple toenail polish change that was just the paint cost the same as a full pedicure? When I expressed my concern pointing out this exact issue, the individual at the front checking me out said the 10 minute soak is typically $50 and she brought it down to $30 for me. Thank you for bringing the cost of that down, however, WHAT?! Since when does a 10 minute soak in water cost $50, let alone $30? Furthermore, the nail tech did not disclose that it was an added service. I've had this same service many times with a soak and I'm never charged for "a soak." I absolutely feel I was targeted as a customer, and I will not be going back. My two girlfriends that were with me have enjoyed services there many times over independently, and we typically go there once or twice a year as a celebration altogether. We have wonderful memories there, so it's really sad that when we walked out today they each said they're also never going back because of the way I was treated. *I'm thinking there are reasons that the last review on Facebook is from 2023. That speaks volumes. Update: I've shared these concerns with friends in the local community and many had similar experiences I had, being up charged for extra service(s) that no one told them was an up charge, making them stop going to Enso. So this is a bigger problem than just what I experienced. I tried to report it to the Better Business Bureau, but unfortunately, the business is not listed there, which is really odd. I will keep working on this goal.
