If you want anything even a little elaborate, go somewhere else. I chose this nail salon because of the amazing photos they have on Google Reviews. I love nail art, especially during the holidays, so I was wanting simple glitter ombré, with snowflakes on top. I showed not only a pic of what I wanted, but a video as well. During my appointment it became apparent Jessica did not even know how to do gel glitter ombré, so I pivoted to just doing a simple layer of glitter on top of the neutral color I had picked out, so what I walked away with was nothing like what I asked for. My nail polish isn't super even, and I need to touch up the filing. I simply don't like my nails, and am disappointed this is what I will have for the holidays. I totally understand that not every nail tech is skilled at nail art, but then make that clear. Tell the client it's not possible, and that you can only do the basics. I would have just went with red nails if I had originally known what I was going to get by trying to get nail art. My pedicure was good.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon…read more I paid $85 for a pedicure, and that is with a discount because it was my first time there and honestly, I don't feel like I should have been charged at all based on the service I received. The problems started immediately. I told the technician that I had gel polish on my toes, and instead of properly removing it, she started drilling it off. It was painful, and I told her she was going to damage my nails. Eventually, another technician came over and removed it. It still wasn't done the way I'm used to, but at least it wasn't hurting me. Next, I asked to see the polish colors. They only had one small basket of polish, and many of the bottles looked old with chipped paint and worn labels. When I asked if they had color books or additional options, I was told, "This is it." The actual pedicure was rushed from start to finish. I even timed it because it felt so fast. Every step, including the hot stones, lotion, and oil, lasted about five minutes or less. The technician never cut my toenails, cleaned up my cuticles, shaped them, or even filed them before applying polish. These are basic parts of a pedicure. By the time she started painting my nails, I was honestly trying not to cry from frustration. The polish application looked sloppy and uneven. It genuinely looked like a child had painted my toenails. When she finished painting, I told her I was done and ready to leave. She insisted there were more steps, but at that point I had completely lost confidence in the service. I went to the front to pay, and another employee asked if I wanted a manicure. After the experience I had just had, I couldn't believe she was seriously asking. I was visiting from out of town and was in a pinch to get my nails done. Big lesson learned. I would not return, and I definitely would not recommend this salon.
