Fantastic nail salon! Staff were very nice and my gel fill turned out beautiful. the salon was recently remodeled. Beautiful spa

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I paid $85 for a pedicure, and that is with a discount because it was my first time there and honestly, I don't feel like I should have been charged at all based on the service I received. The problems started immediately. I told the technician that I had gel polish on my toes, and instead of properly removing it, she started drilling it off. It was painful, and I told her she was going to damage my nails. Eventually, another technician came over and removed it. It still wasn't done the way I'm used to, but at least it wasn't hurting me. Next, I asked to see the polish colors. They only had one small basket of polish, and many of the bottles looked old with chipped paint and worn labels. When I asked if they had color books or additional options, I was told, "This is it." The actual pedicure was rushed from start to finish. I even timed it because it felt so fast. Every step, including the hot stones, lotion, and oil, lasted about five minutes or less. The technician never cut my toenails, cleaned up my cuticles, shaped them, or even filed them before applying polish. These are basic parts of a pedicure. By the time she started painting my nails, I was honestly trying not to cry from frustration. The polish application looked sloppy and uneven. It genuinely looked like a child had painted my toenails. When she finished painting, I told her I was done and ready to leave. She insisted there were more steps, but at that point I had completely lost confidence in the service. I went to the front to pay, and another employee asked if I wanted a manicure. After the experience I had just had, I couldn't believe she was seriously asking. I was visiting from out of town and was in a pinch to get my nails done. Big lesson learned. I would not return, and I definitely would not recommend this salon. read more

Bin & Phoenix have really taken what Mike started and kept it going- as a client of Mike for over 20 years- I can truly say every person there goes above and beyond! Most of the nails pictured here are by Annie- but one by another- I love that Annie takes what I show her and makes it her own but still capturing what I show her- usually show her 3-4 inspo pics and she goes ABOVE & BEYOND!!! 10/10 go to them If you want amazing service with people that actually listen to you and care about why they do!!!! read more

They do not use an autoclave to disinfect their tools. The towels are basically rags with holes and frayed edges. The techs do not use any sort of cuticle cream when working on your nails, and have you soak your nails in cold water for around 10 seconds. The salon also had an odd odor. I was the only customer in there on a Saturday afternoon and I can see why. Avoid. read more

Bella Nails and Spa is owned by the nicest people and their staff is great. My favorite technician is David, he does a great job and does the best leg massage I've ever had. I highly recommend the whole staff as at one time or another they've all helped beautify my feet. read more

Went there for SNS and got "dip". I thought it would be ok I've had dip before. The top coat started to peel in 2 days. My nails are horrible at a week. I gave them 2 chances thinking the first time was a fluke since I was packing boxes later in the week. Nope! Limited colors and subpar product or application don't know which but i don't have $50 to give away and get jacked up nails the next week. Peace read more

I have been going to Bella Nails in Gainesville for gel manicures for about a year. They are caring, accommodating, attentive, and especially are clean. They repaired a nail damaged at another local nail salon. Nail art is available. I like the Cat's Eye polish. It is obvious that many people there are long term clients and this salon has been around for many years. I do not think they would be allow me to leave without a perfect manicure every time. read more

Love this place! I've been to quite a few nails salons in the Gainesville area and the salon is always clean, great staff, very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter and I get gel nails and pedicures frequently as a mommy daughter bonding time. She loves it and they treat her well with her requests for special ornamental nails. Can't recommend a place without it being top notch. Also very affordable too. Some other places overcharge. read more

I brought my daughter with me today too and she nailed my daughter's request for a fun star design. My nails always last when I come here and they're never bulky or too thick - but just right. I decided last minute to get a pedicure and everywhere else was closed or by appointment only. Bella got me in as a walk in immediately, and they did a great job! I got a basic pedicure that lasted probably an hour, and the prices were great. I only brought tennis shoes and not sandals, and the guy doing my toes made sure I didn't leave until they were totally dry (which I appreciated). I'll definitely go back! read more

I took my mother to Bella Nail Spa and the service was awful. They seem to prioritize other customers over us. I waited patiently yet others who arrived after me were serviced before me. The person who did my mother's pedicure stopped mid-pedicure to begin someone else's pedicure. He just left her sitting with a towel on her legs...no explanation. While waiting, I watched them converse with other customers, but when servicing my mom and me, they only spoke to each other in their native language. Every time I come here I am so happy and satisfied by the service, prices, and quality. I highly recommend seeing Brian. He puts time and effort into his work and he pays attention to detail. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I went to this nail salon weeks ago for a full set. Yesterday I decided to soak off my nails (I've done this many times before and have the tools at home to properly do it) and realized that they used MMA acrylic!! It has taken me almost a full day to even get somewhat finished with soaking this stuff off and my natural nails are ruined! If you don't know, MMA is used by dentists for teeth bonding and it is highly toxic and ILLEGAL to use on nails! I can not believe how bad my natural nails are, they are paper thin and peeling right off of the nail bed. I am ashamed that nail salons today still choose to save money by using this horrible (did mention ILLEGAL) product! read more

I like Bella Nail spa. They always can fit me in or there is just a short wait. They do get busy, but I think that is a sign that they are reasonably priced and do a good job. The pedicure is good. They do massage your legs and do a hot towel wrap. (To get a great rating would involve hot stones) It takes about 45 mins for a pedicure. The chairs are nice. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. They always do a great job on my nails. They are friendly. Several women from my office go here as well. I definitely recommend Bella Nail Salon. read more

I just went in to get my gel polish taken off. Decided to come here because it was on my way home. They immediately got me to a station & brought out a bowl of Acetone to dip my fingers in. The bowl looked as if it had been used by another person. Floating particles of old polish chips. I told them & they took the bowl to the back & brought another bowl & it still was not clean. I believe they reuse to acetone from previous customers. The place was dirty & just was not inviting. Will never go back. read more

my first time there a man did my nails.i wanted long stilettos. he laid down acrylic before even shaping them and kept giving me a coffin shape. they were so thin. a girl took over to try to fix as much as she can. it was overalll a 3 hour process. next time there she did them and it AGAIN was a 3 hour process and they still looked awful. read more
