They have been systematically eliminating the Body Pump class, which is very popular resulting in the remaining classes being very crowded to the point that they sometimes run out of equipment. Now, the fans in the group fitness room (where Body Pump is held) have not been working for about a month. The room is crammed with bodies and though there is air conditioning, it is not enough. We have complained and are told they are working on it. Again, it has been a month. We are convinced that this would not happen at the other two centers. Unfortunately we are a captured audience with really no other options.

Locker rooms and the whole place always smells perfectly nice and everything is pretty clean. Hugeeee selection of classes included in your membership and the instructors are super professional. I've taken their yoga classes, cycling, step, and more and I've been really pleased with them all. I've been to gyms in Seattle, NYC, and LA and GHFC beats it all in terms of price, staff friendliness and helpfulness, and what they have to offer in terms of machines, classes, and equipment. Would just say that it would be nice if the women's center was renovated a bit and had more squat machines but overall I love GHFC.

On my first visit, the instructor reviewed the basic terms/moves with me before the class started. This was helpful, but the first class was still a blur. I definitely felt a little behind until my 5th or 6th class, so don't be discouraged if it doesn't click right away. Also, the instructors provide corrections during the class, so they'll help you if you don't get it right the first time. At this point, classes are challenging and even better now that I'm familiar with the Pure Barre vocabulary and move sets. I get a great workout but am not left feeling completely dead for the day, and I've noticed a ton of muscle definition in my arms and legs appear over the past few months. I attend classes ~4-5 times a week, and it's my favorite workout ever. If you're looking to shake up your workout routine, consider stopping by!

If you like to lift and do weight training, this gym is for you. Downstairs there are a few different zones: cardio, circuit, cables, and the more traditional weight room. Upstairs is all weights. There are also two rooms you can use if you have the upgraded membership. The room upstairs has a few spinning bikes, light weights, and yoga mats for use with the workout database, which allows you to take a virtual class anytime. The downstairs CrossFit room is my personal favorite. The locker room is spacious and has showers and a sauna. For some reason, Fox News is always on in the women's locker room and I can never find the remote to change the channel. That aside, it's a great locker room. Price wise, this gym is the middle of the road between YouFit and Gainesville Health and Fitness. They frequently run membership specials. There's plenty of parking and the location is and accessible by RTS. The hours listed above are for the front desk/store; the gym is accessible to members 24/7.

We then got into a verbal altercation while the staff member whom was his friends just sat there. Completely unprofessional, hostile, and unacceptable behavior but he was a staff members friend. About an hour later, I left the gym and found my car tires had been deflated. The timing was not a coincidence. I had been goin to here for a lil while and the worker knows what car I drive cause they're always in the front of the building smoking. I was forced to call the police and file a report for vandalism. When I went to the gym the next day I saw the staff member whom deflated my tires and another member at the desk. I asked for the manger and they lied and said he wasn't there. Then began screaming at me to get out of here. All I was doing was asking for the manager to make a complaint. The manager must have heard them screaming because he then showed up but to my surprise he then asked me to leave as well. All I wanted to ask was if he had seen the footage on the cameras. Then the staff member tried to threaten me saying get out of here or else. When I said or else what he tried come at me aggressively still screaming get out. The culture at this gym is toxic. Staff are clearly friends with each other and protect their own, no matter how out of line they are. Complaints against employees go nowhere. The environment is full of wannabe tough guys talking trash, and staff do absolutely nothing to intervene or help members who are being disrespected. If you try to complain about a staff member they will kick you out, cancel your membership then keep your money. This is what happened to me. I understand staff doesn't get paid much so they don't care about their minimum wage jobs and treat customers without respect but a certain level of professionalism is at least expected and definitely not being aggressive with a customer for asking for a manager and screaming for them to get out. If you value your safety, your property, or basic professionalism, stay far away from this Chuze Fitness. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to rethink it.

Class sizes are small (i think maybe 6 people were in my 11:15 am Friday class) but there's no need to be intimidated as the trainers and members are super friendly/non-judge mental.
