They recently renovated the entire gym, so the locker rooms and reclined hydromassage tables are new. They have plenty of space and plenty of workout stations! The staff is always busy and polite. It seems that the treadmills are atill old though, and plugging into them with headphones can be dicey. You have to wiggle the cord to get proper contact. It is like this on the stationary bikes too, so here's room to improve. There is really too much to go over in just one review, so I will say that this is the best money per workout (less than $1 per day)anywher You can have a free workout, if you want to join, and it is easy to pay for, if you want to stay! We then got into a verbal altercation while the staff member whom was his friends just sat there. Completely unprofessional, hostile, and unacceptable behavior but he was a staff members friend. About an hour later, I left the gym and found my car tires had been deflated. The timing was not a coincidence. I had been goin to here for a lil while and the worker knows what car I drive cause they're always in the front of the building smoking. I was forced to call the police and file a report for vandalism. When I went to the gym the next day I saw the staff member whom deflated my tires and another member at the desk. I asked for the manger and they lied and said he wasn't there. Then began screaming at me to get out of here. All I was doing was asking for the manager to make a complaint. The manager must have heard them screaming because he then showed up but to my surprise he then asked me to leave as well. All I wanted to ask was if he had seen the footage on the cameras. Then the staff member tried to threaten me saying get out of here or else. When I said or else what he tried come at me aggressively still screaming get out. The culture at this gym is toxic. Staff are clearly friends with each other and protect their own, no matter how out of line they are. Complaints against employees go nowhere. The environment is full of wannabe tough guys talking trash, and staff do absolutely nothing to intervene or help members who are being disrespected. If you try to complain about a staff member they will kick you out, cancel your membership then keep your money. This is what happened to me. I understand staff doesn't get paid much so they don't care about their minimum wage jobs and treat customers without respect but a certain level of professionalism is at least expected and definitely not being aggressive with a customer for asking for a manager and screaming for them to get out. If you value your safety, your property, or basic professionalism, stay far away from this Chuze Fitness. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to rethink it.

The spray bottles seemed watered down, and I never really felt comfortable touching the machines. Even the water from the fountains had a strange, old taste. The gym was almost always packed, which made my social anxiety worse. The layout was also kind of awkward and didn't flow well, making it harder to find a space to work out comfortably. I eventually decided to cancel my membership, did it in person to avoid any surprise charges, based on reviews I read. I couldn't justify paying for a place that made me feel more stressed than motivated. Since canceling, I've joined a local HIIT program and started hiking on weekends, and honestly? It's been such a better fit for me physically and mentally. Crunch might work for some, but it just wasn't the right vibe for me.

Although it's not as big as some other chain gyms, it offers just as many great choices to get your workout on. Lots of machines and free weights as well as treadmills, stair masters and cycles. There are classes that anyone can join during the week as well. If you have children they have a play area as well. If you into training that doesn't encompass the machines or free weights there is an additional area next to main gym called the "sweat box" for more training. Friendly staff Monday-Friday and on weekends or after hours a key card grants you gym access. For a small town it's incredible that this gym exists and we are so grateful it does.

The school board needs to entertain the idea to let a professional organization/gym fully run this to it's potential. Look at Anastasia Fitness in St Augustine. They have a smaller location and they are thriving with memberships. They too have a pool and outdoor gym (potential at Belle Terre) Many exercise enthusiasts prefer to be in the sun while exercising!!!!! Someone on the school board-please make resolutions and let's not see this beautiful place be destroyed or closed permanently!
