I have been going here for a couple of years and it is steadily declining. I used to recommend Pretty Nails to everyone for pedicures/manicures/full sets/etc. but the last few times I visited they seemed rushed through the service and didn't pay attention to my cuticles, I had to correct the color selection, and overall felt uncomfortable. I even got a pedicure and my nail tech was on FaceTime for the majority of it with my feet in the direct view. I have been holding off on writing this review as I said I have been coming for years and was hoping they were one-off experiences, but due to the rising prices and declining service I no longer plan to visit. However, I have always had a GREAT experience getting my eye brows waxed here!

This is my first visit, and I came on a Sunday which was not a bad crowd. I received service within a timely manner which was a mani/pedi with gel polish. The service was great, I liked how my nails turned out. I will be back again, I'm excited to try some designs!

    My nail set

They did a good job with my nail set and the customer service was great. The only problem that I had was that I was charged $5 for the length of my nails. I asked why and was told my length was considered "short to medium" and had my length had been a tad bit shorter I wouldn't have been charged anything.

Excellent place very relaxing, my first time visiting this salon and I went on a Sunday. Not very crowded. I received the deluxe pedicure with a mango scrub a bit pricey but worth the $55 for an hour with hot rocks, hot towels, a scrub and foot massage could have been a little less rushed but overall a great clean place.

Behind on the times for sure....limited color choices and ridiculous pricing. My full set with powder was an hour and a half long....,,

But honestly, it's something I feel like people should try at least once. Yeah it hurts, but the result is so nice afterward plus you don't have to do any maintenance down there if you plan on going swimming or to the beach. I've gotten Brazilians at this location and one in Jacksonville and like the efficiency of Brazil's Waxing Center. At this location, Karen was the technician who did mine. She was super funny and personable and was great at distracting me. For pain tolerance reference, I've gotten my underarms waxed for several years and only recently started getting Brazilians. They hurt the most for the first 3 waxes, but as the hair gets thinner they hurt less and less. Honestly, the first time was the most painful and then after it was totally doable! A few tips for first time waxers: do NOT go work out right after your Brazilian or go swimming/do anything that could clog your pores for AT LEAST 24-48 hours after. If you ignore this recommendation from the technician, I almost guarantee you will get ingrown hairs. No one wants that. I actually really like the exfoliate and ingrown hair serum that they sell there, but I don't think the soap is worth the money. Bottom line: just try it!!

I can only speak from my experience and I absolutely love Floating Lotus. I started going back in…read more2021 and before that I had only gotten one previous facial at an esthetician school. I don't normally get facials since I have a regular skin care regimen that I follow thanks to my primary care physician and dermatologist, but I do go for facials once a year and twice if I feel like I need extra care or just to pamper myself. So far the times I have gone I get the one that is tailored for my skin (lotus signature facial for 60 min) I am able to mention problems I currently have and Leah gives great recommendations. I don't trust anyone else with my skin. She is so knowledgeable and always able to recommend creams and face care products according to my concerns. Before she applies anything she explains what it's for. The massage in between is always relaxing and I always manage to go to get a nap in. I have not had an issue thus far and always leave refreshed. I cannot speak for massages or any other face procedures since I try not to do much to my skin and just limit to maintaining my skin texture and hydrating it as well as using products that will help me age gracefully and heal acne scars from past outbreaks. I always follow up with dermatologist about once or twice a year as well to track how my skin is doing. I have recommended this place to my mom and bf and they both have received facials courtesy of me since I love to treat them to a nice facial yearly as well.

It ended around 5:50, so I didn't receive the full time I paid for. The location also wasn't ideal during the massage, I heard two loud car alarms and an ambulance right outside the window, which made it hard to relax. While the masseuse was kind, the massage itself wasn't what I was looking for. I booked a lymphatic drainage massage but received more of a light, general massage with little pressure or technique. Considering the price (plus the generous tip I left), I was really disappointed overall. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.
