During my appointment it became apparent Jessica did not even know how to do gel glitter ombré, so I pivoted to just doing a simple layer of glitter on top of the neutral color I had picked out, so what I walked away with was nothing like what I asked for. My nail polish isn't super even, and I need to touch up the filing. I simply don't like my nails, and am disappointed this is what I will have for the holidays. I totally understand that not every nail tech is skilled at nail art, but then make that clear. Tell the client it's not possible, and that you can only do the basics. I would have just went with red nails if I had originally known what I was going to get by trying to get nail art. My pedicure was good.

He listened, and was very patient with his art work. He took his time on my cuticles and buffed them gentle... not rough like my past experiences. Someone came in about ten or fifteen minutes after me and they sat them right next to me regardless of having an empty salon. No big deal. The pedicure felt very rushed and the technicians seemed more interested in their personal conversation. The "massage" was really a quick lotion application that stopped intermittently during the technician's conversation. I gave it a shot because it was advertised as 20% off for being a new business but they ended up charging me $75. For an upgraded pedicure with gel (no design), I've never paid more than $60-70 in Gainesville. I highly recommend checking out other places. I was also never offered a drink - which I just learned is a thing. I'm so easy to please regarding pedicures and am grateful to get them, so please understand my review is truthful.
