I had such a great experience at Glamor Nails today. I decided to come here on a whim when I was driving back from the gym. I didn't know what to expect, but it turned out great. It is a super small, cute environment in the salon. All of the ladies who work there are super nice. I wish that I asked the woman who did my nails what her name was, but I know she is the store owner. Yikes. Second time going after a long sabbatical (hoping it had improved) and the establishment is filthy- the Walls, the floors, the windows etc. I had Mih give me a dip manicure And she cut me with the dremel 4 times. Not once, not twice. I told her and was extremely polite about it but the 4th cut would not stop bleeding and she was spreading my blood everywhere and I had to stop her and ask for a paper towel. She never said sorry just "don't worry" and when the bleeding would not stop she tried to squeeze super glue (the tube was not clean) into the cut. I told her no and that I would treat them with neosporin when I got home. I tried to remain calm and polite but when I went to check out she ran me and said "where my tip?" I simply walked out at this point. read more

I think we found our new nail place! Emily and the others were so friendly right off the start. We came in for a dip and they did such a great job. We initially wanted a simple manicure and my daughter wanted a gel manicure but Emily consulted us, took a look at our hands and recommended dip manicures (we have done dip manicures before). The prices were very reasonable and she told us they kept them low because they know students don't have a lot of money and parents of students have even less (bless you)! Even though their prices are lower, they still maintain that they pamper everyone because that is their goal. Go here if you need to feel pampered like a princess! read more

I have to admit, this was one of the worst nail jobs I have ever had. I am not sure if the techs there actually know how to do nails. Though on their price list indicates that gel nails are available, the nail tech had NO idea what I meant. There is a difference between gel nails and acrylic nails. Very basic (a line in a different color) requests could not be completed because the techs did not know how or perhaps were unwilling to. My sister got a pedicure and her feet actually looked worse afterwards I had to go home and reshape and repaint my nails to make them even. My friend who was also with us, went and got her nails redone at a different shop when we returned home. I will not be returning to glamor nails. read more

The deluxe pedicure was far from deluxe. The polish selection was minimal and most polishes had lacquer thinner in them. I had to ask the woman to correctly use the cuticle clippers, as she did a half a** job. On top of that, she didn't even scrub my feet much. The massage was less than 15 seconds on each foot, and the salt scrub was a joke. They literally place salt scrub on your legs and wash it right off. Waste of time, waste of money. Never again. I guess that's what happens when you move to a new town, gotta shop around! read more

Moving here from the NE, I have found that the local nail spas don't know how to do nails. They push the gel manicure, which is bad for your nails only because they know that the traditional manicure will not last. This manicure did not last. I'm used to better. C'mon Gainesville, pick up your game. Is there no salon that knows how to take care to make a better manicure. Please, I look forward to the massage, why skimp on that? Use better products, from remover to base to top coat. Finally, clean up the place, too cluttered. read more

I've always had a good experience with their $19.99 pedicures. They do a salt scrub and hot stone massage for the price, which is unheard of for the price. I'm used to going to South Florida salons and paying $35+ for a pedicure of that caliber. Never had an issue with the regular manicures, either. 4 stars because as one reviewer mentioned, it is a bit cluttered. read more

I took my daughters here on April 3rd 2018 for my daughters 20th birthday. This was by far my worst experience EVER in a nail salon. I spent $225 and received horrible service. They had my daughter sit at the pedi tub for over an hour waiting no one acknowledged her. The water got cold finally a woman sat down to start but immediately got up excused herself and never returned. No one seemed to notice my daughter sitting ther for an hour and half. The owner happened to be there Collected $225 from me with little regard for anything. You would have thought k came in for a polish change. I was upset that on my daughters special day she had the worst experience ever. They don't seem to care about the customer just getting your money. read more
