I found this Nail salon by default. My usual salon had their water pipes burst because of the freeze and couldn't take me for 4 days so I decided to find somewhere that was open and available. From the outside...they looked closed but I decided to park the car and try my luck. Much to my surprise...they were open and I was welcomed by Amy, one of the 3 sisters that own the salon. The appearance is bright, clean and very welcoming. I needed a fill and a pedicure and was immediately seated in the big, new comfy pedicure seats with ultra vibrations...lol. Amy and her sister came over and we had a wonderful conversation for quite a while and we got to know each other and I learned that their other sister, who was not working there, had actually been my pedicurist at another salon in Gainesville. Tony, Cherry's husband, proceeded to give me a wonderful relaxing pedicure with an extended massage...my fav. He did a great job. After I was done with my pedicure, Cherry did my nails and it had to be the best manicure I've had in years. Perfect job. I love this place and I wish them the best of luck in their new endeavor. People need to know that there is a place here that optimizes the word service. Give them a chance and you will be more then happy. Do not waste your time or money. I have come here a few times and they are severely overpriced! I always receive mediocre nails, and every time they burn my fingers or cut my skin due to lack of caring or skill. I got my nails done as a full set and my toes painted(no pedicure) and that was 130$. for just green french tip nails. I had one nail that was severely crooked like 45° nail tip and i repeatedly asked them to fix it and all they said was sorry. i go to get them filled today, and i want my crooked finger fixed, and my pinkie nail tip broke. they said 90$ for the fill of i got a flower sticker on two nails, and 30$ without the design. so i skip the design because that's ludicrous for flower stickers. I ASK REPEATEDLY to fix the crooked nail. She says yes, gets nearly finished with the set and then says she can't fix it my nail is just like that. Absolutely ridiculous, my nails are lumpy and she filed them down paper thin when i asked for thick acrylic. There is bubbles and debris in my polish because she didn't ask me to wash my hands, and the application is lumpy and she even made another nail crooked somehow by filing too much. Not only that she burned me multiple times. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. These people don't have their licensing hanging up like other legit mail places. They DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE FOING. i will never return and they lost a customer, and the people i have brought into this place over the times i've come. read more

My friend and I went into LV Nail & Spa on 6/21. Upon entering the salon, we encountered an extremely upset customer who was very dissatisfied with her nails and angry at the 2 nail techs due to her experience and the way she was treated. She said that this was her 2nd day there as the 1st day they had messed up her nails. She had come back to have them fixed and had been sitting in the chair for 4 hours. In hindsight, we should've left, but assumed that this customer was overreacting and felt bad for the 2 techs. After this customer left and we sat down in the chairs, it became very apparent, very quickly, that the previous customer's experience was not a fluke. If you've ever gotten your nails done, you know that while skill levels are different, the technique/process is basically the same. With very little knowledge of how to professionally do nails, it would be apparent to ANYONE that no formal education was obtained by either of these technicians. First, NEITHER technician properly glued the nail tips on, my friends literally popped off while being filed and 2 of mine were glued in the middle, but not glued down on the edges and she proceeded to apply acrylic on top of them. When they were applying the acrylic, neither of them waited for the acrylic powder to be fully saturated, so dry powder and clumps were literally falling off of our nails. They were packing the acrylic on in clumps instead of pulling it down the nail. BOTH technicians attempted to shape and place the acrylic with their fingers. My friend asked for stiletto shaped nails, from the pics you can see that one finger is stiletto & the rest are a variety of shapes from oval to almond and one is very crooked. I even spoke up and said that my friend was wanting them to be really pointed and she attempted to file them, but it was apparent that the skill just honestly wasn't there for this to be achieved. When we had first arrived, we picked out our colors and my friend showed them a picture (see attached) of what she was wanting and the technician said that they could do that. Once it came time to paint the nails, we were informed that the technician doing my friends nails, didn't "feel like" doing the dip powder because it "takes too long". At this point, we had been in the salon for 2 hours (due to them not knowing what they were doing), so my friend just said that was fine to do black so we could get out of there. My technician painted my nails in every direction except the standard & piled polish in random areas to try and fill in the GOUGES she took out of my nails when she was attempting to smooth out the bumpy acrylic with the nail drill. The "alien" my friend's tech painted on her nails is laughable- so much so the tech actually was laughing at it, but didn't offer to fix it. At this point, we were literally so over this experience and just wanted to be done, so we just left. Unfortunately, they had already had us pay them for the services, so we were out $110. As we were leaving, my friend noticed that her techs license expired in 2019 and took a pic (see attached). After thinking about this overnight and further inspecting her nails, my friend decided to go back the following day. When my friend went in and calmly explained that she wasn't happy with her nails and would like a refund, they agreed that the nails were bad and offered to redo them. However, judging from the encounter that we witnessed with the upset customer who herself was there for a redo, our experience, and the expired license, my friend didn't feel comfortable having them redo her nails, nor did she feel that they were actually capable of doing so. Eventually, the 3 techs began ganging up on my friend and yelling at her. The manager (who was the one who did my nails) finally agreed to refund the money, she just wanted to have the tech that did them look at my friends nails to see how bad they were. She promised my friend that they would not touch her, she just wanted the tech to look at them and then once she did, they would give her her money back. After waiting for that tech to look at her nails, she was informed that the only way that they would give her her money back was if they took the nails off. They used the analogy, that if you go to a store and buy a shirt and you don't like it, you have to return the shirt, so she would have to "return the nails". My friend didn't want them to touch her, but wanted her money back and had been there for an hour discussing this, so she begrudgingly agreed to let them take her nails off. What she did not agree to, was for them to take nail clippers and hack both the tips and her real nails off, leaving jagged acrylic stuck on her now uncomfortably short real nails. Attached pics are what LV Nails & Spa's solution is to a dissatisfied customer. This is the most unprofessional establishment we have ever been in and hands down the WORST customer service we have experienced. read more
